Once everything seemingly settled down, Jake opened his eyes and found himself outside of the hunters hideout.

"Bro! Are you okay?" The voice of Makayla said as she kneeled down next to Jake. "Say something!"

"Ugh. . . damn." Jake groaned as he sat up. "What the heck happened?"

"Your girlfriend is going crazy!" Douxie said.

"Who?" Jake asked.

"Just look!" Makayla said, pointing up at the sky.

Jake turned around to see something he didn't expect to see at all. Up in the sky, was April. But she didn't look like herself. Not only was she floating in the sky, but her eyes were also blank white and her hair was down. But that wasn't the only thing different about her. Her clothes had also changed to appear as a ninja outfit consisting of a black cropped shirt and black pants. A new form that she had been given as Za-Naron has completely taken over her mind once again.

"Is that. . . April?!" Jake said in shock when he saw her.

"It was." Douxie said. "She doesn't look to be in control. I sense a new dangerous magical energy inside of her."

'This must be what Chad and Natalie was talking about before.' Jake thought to himself. 'Why didn't she say anything to me before? I could've helped her.'

"What do we do?" Makayla asked. "This is beyond anything we understand."

"Well, we have to take her down." Douxie said, as he held out his hand and summoned this staff. "Tenebris Exili-"

"Wait!" Jake suddenly called out. "Surely, there's a better way to get her back under control."

Suddenly, 'April' let out a long evil laugh as she looked down at the destroyed building and all of the people in the ground.

"Poor little humans. . ." Za-Naron said, through April. "I may have failed to eradicate you before, but not this time!"

"Who the hell are you?!" Jake yelled out. "And what have you done with April?!"

"The name is Za-Naron." Za-Naron said with a smirk. "And as for O'Neil, she's perfectly fine. She's just stuck in her own consciousness, preparing fade away as we speak."

At that moment, Natalie stood up from a pile of rubble. "Wow. . . I knew she was freak, but this is more than I had expected." She said.

Za-Naron looked down at the young huntress and smirked. "Thank you, young one. . . for allowing me to be set free." She said. "I may not have a physical body anymore, but I'm still as powerful as ever."

"You won't win!" Jake said. "I'll get April back! Just you wait!"

"Oh, I'd like to see you try." Za-Naron smirked. "Prepare to feel the wrath of Dark April!"

With that, Za-Naron suddenly shot out a psychic blast at the group down below as they were able to dodge out of the way just in time.

"This may be tougher than we thought." Douxie said. "Can't I just blast her?"

"No, we can't risk it." Jake said, seriously. "It'll only be doing damage to April's body. We don't want that, do we?"

"I guess not." Douxie said.

"Then what should we do?" Makayla asked.

"Maybe. . . maybe I can reach out to April." Jake said. "You know. . . I can try to bring her back."

"That's a decently good idea." Douxie said. "Except for one thing. How do you plan on doing that?"

"I don't know yet." Jake said. "But I have to try."

"You'll never reach April." Za-Naron said with an evil chuckle. "She's long gone by now!"

"I doubt that!" Jake said. "April is strong! I have faith that she's fighting you from the inside!"

"That's wishful thinking." Za-Naron said. "Good luck trying, human! You'll need it."

Za-Naron then shot another powerful psychic blast at Jake. And it came so fast that he wasn't able to dodge it and ended up flying backwards into one of the hunter's vans.

"Hey, watch where you're being thrown!" A hunter said from inside the van, trying to start it up.

Za-Naron let out another evil laugh as She floated over to Jake. Jake stood up and stood his ground as he got into a battle pose, ready to fight.

But as Za-Naron was a out to attack again, an arrow was suddenly shot at her and hit her right in the shoulder.

"Arrrggghhh! Who dares try to attack me!?" Za-Naron said with an evil snarl as she turned to face the direction where the arrow came from. "Show yourself, you cretin!"

Over by a pile of rubble, Chad has a crossbow aimed at Za-Naron. And when he saw her look his way, he tried to grab another bolt to shoot at her, but realized something terrible.

"Oh, shit. . . I'm outta ammo." Chad said, dropping his crossbow and turning to run off.

But before he could get far, Za-Naron took advantage of April's abilities and grabbed Chad in a psychic hold in the air.

"Chad!" Natalie suddenly shouted as she saw her boyfriend getting lifted into the air. "Let him go!"

Chad struggled to break free of the psychic grip, but found his efforts useless.

"Take this as a warning to never mess with the likes of me." Za-Naron said, before beginning to close her fist slowly as she was tightening her grip around someone's neck.

Chad felt his airway tighten as he started to struggle even more. He wriggled around in midair as he felt the air around his throat get even more dense. A loud, sickening snap was then heard as Chad's eyes went wide and his body suddenly went limp in the air.

"No!" Natalie yelled as she witnessed this happening.

"Bloody hell. . ." Douxie said, trying to take in what just happened.

Za-Naron then smirked as she opened her hand and Chad suddenly fell from the air and landed on top of one of the vans.

"Now. . . who's next?" Za-Naron smirked as she looked down upon the rest of them.

Natalie just shook her head in fear as tears formed in her eyes and she ran off to hide somewhere else.

"This is bad." Makayla said. "She's too powerful."

"We need more help." Jake said. "And I know just where to get it."

"Huh?" Douxie asked.

"Makayla, you're coming with me." Jake said. "Douxie, stay here and hold her off for the time being."

"What?" Douxie asked in surprise. "Why am I the one who has to stay behind?"

"Cause you were mean to me." Jake said.

With that said, Jake and Makayla ran off to get some more help to take on Za-Naron.

"Touche." Douxie said, as he readied his staff to defend himself.
