Ryan's Revenge Attack
Meanwhile, while Jake was doing his own thing, April was on the streets looking for him. Makayla had texted her a message about Jake and what happened with Douxie, so she was out to look for him and bring him back.
Since he didn't want to see either of them at that moment, Makayla had April go and see if she could talk some sense into him and to let him know that what happened wasn't his fault. Since they were close, she figured he'd listen to April.
"Where are you, Jake?" April said to herself as she looked for him. "I know you have to be around here somewhere."
April then tried to call Jake, but all that she got out of it was ringing and no answer, other than being asked to leave a message.
"Man. . . what is he doing?" April asked herself. "Whatever happened must've been bad for him to just not answer his calls."
"Or maybe he's just over you." An evil sounding voice said from the shadows. "Ever think of that?"
"Huh? Who's there?" April asked in fear as she turned around.
At that moment, there was a loud noise coming from a nearby alleyway, causing April to jump back in fear.
"Hello?" April called out as she walked towards the alleyway. "Is anyone there?"
There were no more noises.
"Excuse me?" April called out. "It's not smart to be sneaking up on me this late at night. I know ninjutsu!"
April managed to make her way into the alleyway, prepared to fight. But she didn't see anyone there.
April paused and just stared into the dark alleyway. "Huh. . . that's wierd." She said, confused. "I could've sworn I heard-"
But before April could do anything, she felt a pair of hands wrap around her and covered her mouth, so she couldn't make a sound. At that moment, she was quickly brought deeper into the alleyway by the unknown figure.
"Don't think you'll make it out of this one." The mysterious figure said angrily. "The only one who will make it to Jake's heart is me!"
April gasped as her captor said that. It wasn't Natalie's voice, but she could take a mental guess in who else it could be.
"The name's Ryan." The figure said, revealing their identity. "It's so good to finally meet you, April. Too bad this will the first and last time we do."
April grunted as she tried to break free from Ryan's grasp.
"I wouldn't struggle if I were you." Ryan said, taking a piece a cloth from her pocket and tying it around April's mouth as a gag. "You're only putting yourself more in harm's way."
Ryan then took out a rope and tied April's hands together before throwing her on the ground.
"Also, I heard you're supposed to be a ninja or something?" Ryan said. "Well, it's certainly not showing."
April groaned in pain as she tried to sit up to escape. But Ryan caught her and grabbed her, pulling her close.
"Don't think you can get away, Red!" Ryan said angrily. "I'm gonna make sure you don't get the chance to mess with me and my Jake ever again!"
April tried to speak, but it only came out as muffled, due to the gag in her mouth. Ryan then threw her back down to the ground, causing April to grunt in pain as she couldn't do much in this state.
April then looked Ryan in the eyes and gasped in horror. She could tell that she was barely human at this point. She had totally gone off the deep end and April knew it.
"So, where should we start?" Ryan asked with an evil smirk, as she pulled out a small knife.
April tried to scream, but it only came out muffled and quiet.
"Oh, don't try to scream." Ryan said. "No one will be able to hear you."
Ryan then got down to April's level and stared her in the eyes. April felt a chill run down her spine at the sight. And she couldn't do anything about her situation. Ryan then took the knife and stabbed April in the shoulder, causing April to scream again and tears welled up in her eyes from the pain.
"Now, I don't want to kill you. I just want to get a message through to you." Ryan said, seriously, shoving the knife deeper into her shoulder, making April cry out some more. "But if you dare get in the way of me and Jake. . . I'm afraid I'll have no choice, but to exterminate you."
April was crying profusely now. The pain she felt in her shoulder was unbearable and she turned her head away, not even being able to look Ryan in the eyes anymore.
"So, you accept defeat?" Ryan asked.
April looked back at Ryan and growled angrily at her as she lifted her leg and kicked Ryan in the shin, causing her to stumble back, before using her leg to sweep under Ryan and caused her to drop the knife and fall on the grlound.
"I see. . . you're quite the fighter, aren't you?" Ryan said with a smirk as she stood back up. "You'll keep going until you can't, right? Well, I'll fix that!"
Ryan then grabbed the knife and slashed it across April's face, leaving a small cut on her cheek. April then cried in pain as her gag fell from her mouth and she was left laying down on the ground again.
Ryan then growled in anger as she kneeled next to Ryan and stabbed her in the thigh, causing her to finally be able to properly scream out in pain.
"I've never met someone who wanted to die so badly." Ryan said with a smirk. "You must think you're pretty strong for someone tied up in an alleyway."
"I've been through worse." April said. "And Jake's out here somewhere. He'll come for me soon."
"You little bitch!" Ryan said, before punching April in the face, causing her nose to start bleeding. "You're really starting to piss me off! I almost feel like ending your fucking life right now!"
"Do your worst. . ." April said, her voice a little shaky, before looking up. "Oh, and good luck."
"Huh?" Ryan said, confused.
"PLEASE. . . SOMEBODY. . . HELP ME!" April cried out into the night. Now that the gag was moved, she was free to call for help.
Ryan quickly rushed to cover het mouth with her hand and held the knife over her throat.
"You've got a lot of nerve doing that." Ryan said. "Now I have to kill you before I'm spotted."
"Put. . . her. . . down!" A voice said from behind Ryan and April.
Ryan's pupils then shrunk down in fear as she knew all too well who's voice that was.
"Checkmate, bitch." April said with a smirk.
Ryan dropped the knife and looked behind her to see Jake standing there. And he did *not* look happy at all. Purple lightning began to surround him as his eyes glowed a bright purple color.
"J-Jake. . . ?" Ryan said in fear. "It's been a while. . . how are you, my love?"
"Oh, shut up, you ungrateful pig!" Jake said angrily. "You think I wouldn't notice when my friend is in danger?"
"P-Pig?!" Ryan said, feeling offended.
"Let her go or else I'll have to do something I'll possibly regret later." Jake said, holding out his hand.
"Oh, what can you do?" Ryan said with a smirk, not taking him seriously anymore. "I know how much of a weak pussy-boy you are. You won't dare to-"
Jake suddenly shot a blast of lightning at a dumpster right next to her, causing Ryan to flinch and step to the side.
"Try me." Jake said, angrily.
"Fine. . . you win." Ryan said, putting her hands up in defeat. "I've done my part already."
"Oh, and also. . . of you ever think about trying to win my heart back. . . don't!" Jake said angrily. "I've had it with your stupid mind games! I just want to be left alone!"
"Oh, Jake." Ryan said, with an un-serious tone. "I know you say that, but you know you'll come running back to me when this doesn't work out."
"Oh, so you need me to drill it into your thick head for you?" Jake said, angrily. "You broke up with me! We were never gonna work then, what makes you think we'll work it out now? Especially after you hurt the one friend who actually cared about my feelings, other than my own sister!"
"Well, nothing else was working." Ryan said.
"That should've been your sign then." Jake said. "It should've been obvious, but. . . I hate you, Ryan!"
Ryan instantly felt like she was stabbed right in the heart, hearing those words. It was enough to snap her back into reality.
"W-What. . . you don't really mean that." Ryan said. "You're just angry, that's all."
"Damn right, I'm angry!" Jake said, angrily as he walked forward. "From the moment you came to my new school after forcing me to have to leave my old one, I've been feeling nothing but anger and hate towards you!"
"But. . . I thought we could have something." Ryan said.
"Yeah? Well, guess what? Me too." Jake said. "But that was a long time ago."
"It's only been, like, almost a week." Ryan said.
"Damn, really?" Jake said, out of focus for a second. "It felt longer than that."
"Maybe it's cause you were so in love with me that time didn't matter?" Ryan asked, hopeful.
"Maybe I was. . . but not with you." Ryan said.
"Wait. . . there's definitely some sort of misunderstanding here." Ryan said.
"No, I think I'm understanding it very well." Jake said.
"Please, Jake. . . you can't do this to me!" Ryan said. "I loved you and you loved me! We were perfect!"
"Then answer this question." Jake said. "If you really believed that, then why did you break up with me in the first place?"
As soon as he asked that question, Ryan gasped softly as a sudden memory came back into her mind.
Flashback. . .
Ryan: "No! He's been my friend for a long time! And he's so sweet! I can't just do that to him!"
Trinity: "Well, I've been your friend for longer!"
Ryan: "I know that, but-"
Trinity: "It's either him or me, Ry. You can't have both."
Ryan: ". . ."
Trinity: "I'm giving you until the end of the day to decide."
Ryan: "W-What? But me and Jake are supposed to have a date tonight!"
Trinity: "Well then, tell him at the date. I don't give a shit. Either lose someone who you'd lose anyway, or lose your best friend. You're choice."
Ryan: ". . . Fine."
End of flashback. . .
"I. . . It's complicated." Ryan said. "But I promise that I thought it be worth it."
"I'm sorry, Ryan." Jake said. "But you need to leave now."
"No, Jake please. . ." Ryan said. "I-"
"I said NOW!" Jake said, angrily as large blasts of lightning shot out in every direction.
Ryan gasped in fear, before tears welled up in her eyes and she just ran away from the scene, trying her best not to cry.
Jake then looked back at April to see that she had already passed out a while ago from the blood loss she was experiencing.
"Oh, crap! Not again!" Jake said, running up to April. "I need to call an ambulance."
Jake then took out his phone and dialed 911. Shortly after, an ambulance came and took April away on a stretcher, with Jake riding alongside her.
'God, Please let her be okay. . .' Jake thought to himself as they made their way to the hospital.
