As Za-Naron was causing havoc up on the surface, Jake had brought Makayla to a nearby alleyway.

"What are we doing here?" Makayla asked. "I thought we were going to get some help."

"We are." Jake said, as he lifted up a manhole cover.

"The sewer?" Makayla said, with a disgusted look on her face. "Why the heck are we going down there?"

"Trust me." Jake said. "It will all make sense when you see them."

"Them?" Makayla said in surprise.

"Just follow me." Jake said.

Makayla groaned in annoyance as she held her breath as they both went down into the sewers.

Meanwhile in the lair of the turtles, the four of them were just watching TV without any idea on what's happening on the surface. Casey was also with them.

Donnie was currently writing some things down on a piece of paper and he looked completely focused.

"What are you writing, D?" Mikey asked.

"My plans to beat Jake in the race to winning April's heart." Donnie said with a smirk.

"Jeez, are you still on about that?" Raph asked in an annoyed tone. "She hasn't even visited us since you started that."

"Just give up, Donnie." Leo said. "I bet Jake would have won by now."

"I'm not gonna lose that easily." Donnie said. "Especially not to some punk kid."

"Typical." Casey said, rolling his eyes.

At that moment, Jake and Makayla had arrived at the lair. And they were both breathing hard. They both stopped to catch their breath.

"Jake, you're back!" Mikey said with a smile on his face.

"Oh, great. . ." Donnie said.

"I wish I could say I was here for a social visit." Jake said. "But there's something wrong going up there. April is-"

"Wait, who's that?" Mikey asked, pointing at Makayla.

"Oh, this is my sister. Her name is Makayla." Jake said.

"I knew he'd break his promise to not tell anyone about us!" Donnie said angrily.

"No, I don't mean to." Jake said. "We just need your help."

At that moment, Makayla finished catching her breath and stood up straight, fixing her hair. "My god, bro!" She said. "You're faster than I thought."

Once Makayla came back, she gasped as she saw the sight in front of her.

"Um. . . hello." Leo said.

"Aaaahhhh!" Makayla screamed, stumbling backwards and falling on the ground. "What the hell?! Where did you bring me, bro?!"

"Hey, take it easy." Leo said. "We're not gonna hurt you."

"Jake, do you know these freaks?" Makayla asked.

"Yeah, they're friends of April." Jake said. "And don't worry, I had the same reaction as you when I first saw them too."

"Yeah, don't worry." Raph said. "You'll get used to us."

"I seriously doubt it." Makayla said.

"Anyway, I had to come back here." Jake said. "April. . . she's in trouble."

"What did you do?" Donnie asked, seriously.

"I didn't do anything." Jake said. "But she's gone crazy! I think she's been possessed or something."

"I think she said her name was. . . Za-Naron or something?" Makayla said.

"Oh no. . ." Leo said.

"Za-Naron is back?!" Casey asked in shock. "That's impossible. Didn't we destroy her body and the crystal?"

"She must've been hiding in the deepest parts of April's mind." Donnie said. "She was waiting for her return."

"So, this has happened before." Jake said. "I kind of thought so."

"You did the right thing by coming to us." Leo said. "We need to get up there and get our April back."

"Are we really gonna work with him?" Donnie asked. "We are still rivals, after all."

"There's no time to discuss that." Leo said. "We have to save April."

Donnie just scoffed and looked away.

"So, you'll help us?" Jake asked.

"We have to." Leo said. "April is our friend and if anyone has any experience with this, it'll be us."

"Well, that's why we came here." Jake said. "We figured you'd be the best help we can get."

"Don't worry, Jake." Raph said. "We'll join the fight to save April."

"It's the least we can do." Mikey said.

"Thanks, guys." Jake said. "I knew we could trust you guys."

Donnie just sighed and turned to face Jake. "Alright, fine." He said. "We can put our differences aside for now. April's safety is more important than our silly rivalry."

"Thanks, Donnie." Jake said.

"Alright, guys." Leo said, seriously. "Let's go save April. . . again."

"Aw yeah!" Mikey said, in an excited tone. "Finally, a new battle!"

"I've been craving some action since Tokka came to Earth." Raph said, cracking his knuckles. "Let's get to it."

"For April!" Casey said, pumping his fist in the air.

Jake smiled as he nodded his head with a serious look on his face.

'Don't worry, April.' Jake thought to himself. 'I'm coming to save you. Just hang tight.'
