An Intense Visit

After school that day, Natalie was quick to get back home. But first, she was gonna pay a small visit to someone she hasn't seen for some time. . . her father.

You see, her father is actually well-known in the underworld as a greedy mob boss who hates anything different, especially mutants. And he has his own group of mutant hunters by his side as well.

She hasn't spent much time with him because he's busy doing his job, even though he's not that good at it, seeing how he's been beaten by mutant turtles. And while she has never seen the mutant turtles, Natalie does believe they exist. She just has yet to see them.

But now, she was going to do some serious business with him. Even though he was barely present in her life, she still had some respect for him, since she got her hatred for freaks from him.

Once she had arrived at his hideout, she ran in to his henchmen, The Fulci Twins, who blocked the doors on sight.

"Oh, please. . . I'm here to talk to my father." Natalie said, seriously.

"He's not taking any visits." The first Fulci twin said.

"Yeah, get lost." The other Fulci twin said. "Or else we won't be so nice to ya."

"I'll be in an out." Natalie said. "You won't even realize I'm here."

"Sorry, but unless the boss says so directly, we can't let you in." The first Fulci twin said.

Suddenly, their earpieces made a noise as a voice talked into their ears.

"Is my daughter here yet?" The voice asked. "She said she needed to talk to me about something."

The Fulci Twins looked down at young woman, who smirked knowingly.

"Alright, fine." The first Fulci twins said as they both moves out of her way. "Go on inside."

"Thank you, kind sirs." Natalie said as she walked passed them and headed inside the hideout.

Once she was inside, she made her way to where he would usually be. The dining room.

Once she was there, there was a large middle aged man chowing down on some meatloaf. His name is Don Visioso.

And next to him, was a more muscular grown man wearing sunglasses. He was known as The Hammer.

"Hello, Father." Natalie said, seriously.

The big man looked up to see the inidigo haired girl standing firmly in front of him.

"Ah, well this is quite a surprise." Visioso said, still taking bites of his meal. "I didn't think you'd want to see me ever again."

"Fortunately, I'm not here to socialize." Natalie said. "I just came to talk about business."

"What business?" Visioso chuckled. "You don't work for me."

"I think there's something of value we can capture." Natalie said. "It'll make us lots of money, too."

"I'm not interested." Visioso said.

"But you didn't even hear what I have to say." Natalie said.

"And I don't have to." Visioso said. "I know that you'll just fail anyway."

"Oh, you think so, huh?" Natalie scoffed. "I've already got the guy wrapped around my finger. Killing him won't be too hard."

"Is it a mutant?" Visioso asked.

"Well. . . no." Natalie said. "But I do suspect that-"

"I'm gonna stop you right there." Visioso said. "You know that I'm only interested in making money from mutant bounties. If you can't get me one of those, then I'm out."

"Of course. . . I expected no less." Natalie said.

"What's that supposed to mean?" Visioso asked.

"You don't care about anything other than your stupid business." Natalie said. "And if anyone else tries to thrown in their ideas, then you shut them down. Though. . . I guess it's better than shutting out your own family."

"Now, there's no need to bring up the past." Visioso said. "Things were complicated then and they still are."

"No, don't say that." Natalie scoffed. "You know damn well that you're a deadbeat! You left me and Mother alone when we needed you the most. And all because you're-"

"Hold, please." Visioso said, before gesturing over to The Hammer.

The Hammer then went over and pressed a button on a stereo as music began to play and he began to sing:

Visioso: "Listen, little girl
You're talking to a Mob boss
And I don't wanna hear the drama
Kindness ain't my brand"

Natalie: "Oh, I guess that's
why you ran"

Visioso: "Try being married
to your mama"

Natalie: "You stink at being a dad"

Visioso: "Poor Natalie, are you sad?"

Natalie: "Not as sad as you
without your power
I didn't come to fight
For once, do something right"

Visioso: "I kill mutants,
were you expecting flowers?"

Natalie: "I only need you
'cause I came here for something"

Visioso: "I've given you everything"

Both: "by giving you nothing"

Visioso: "I did what I had to do"

Natalie: "No, you only did
what's best for you"

Visioso: "Well, you could
learn a thing or two
When push comes to shove
You do what you gotta do, yeah"

Natalie: "You were never there
Guess you don't have a phone
You never called to say,
"I miss you""

Visioso: "Are you kidding?
Is this a joke?
You need to let it go
You're stronger with
those daddy issues"

Natalie: "Oh, thank you"

Visioso: "Show me some respect
It ain't easy to neglect
My attention would've
made you softer"

Natalie: "Ooh-hoo, should I be proud?
Don't turn this thing around"

Visioso: "I guess you are
your father's daughter"

Natalie: "Don't think I need you,
I just came here for something"

Visioso: "I've given you everything"

Both: "by giving you nothing"

Natalie: "I did what I had to do
I made it on my own,
no thanks to you"

Visioso: "Well, you could
learn a thing or two
When push comes to shove
You do what you gotta do
How 'bout you stay here with me
and we'll spend some time?"

Natalie: "How 'bout I just leave
'cause you're out of your mind"

Visioso: "Let's make new memories,
you can show me the town"

Natalie: "No, you can keep
your memories now"

Visioso: "Get over it"

Natalie: "I am over it"

Both: "I'm over you being over it"

Visioso: "Let's dance"

Natalie just scoffed as Visioso danced a bit in his chair along with The Hammer. They then gave a dark glare to each other as they began to sing some more together.

Both: "I did what I had to do
No, you only did what's best for you
Well, you could learn a thing or two
When push comes to shove, you do
When push comes to shove, you do
When push comes to shove
You do what you gotta do, yeah"

Natalie: "Ha, Please"

When the song was over, The Hammer pressed another button on the stereo, stopping the music.

"You know what? Maybe I don't need your help." Natalie said. "It was a waste of time coming here."

"I could supply you with weapons." Visioso said. "But it'll come at a price."

"I'm not doing that." Natalie said. "You've ruined my life enough already."

"How could I ruin your life?" Visioso scoffed. "I wasn't even there."

Natalie didn't say anything after thay. She just stormed off, not even looking back.

"What's her deal?" Visioso scoffed.

__________

Once Natalie was outside of the hideout, she struggled to not cry as she kept wiping her eyes.

"It's fine. . . if he wants to sit on his fat ass all the time, I'll let him." Natalie said. "At least I still have Ryan and Trinity on my side."

At that moment, Natalie felt her phone buzz and she took out out of her pocket and saw a message from Trinity.

Trinity: Can we talk tomorrow? I have something we need to discuss.

"Ugh. . . now this b***h wants to talk." Natalie scoffed. "Whatever, that's fine. Whatever it is that she need to discuss can't be too bad. It's not like she can say anything to change my mind about things."

Natalie put her phone back in her pocket as she headed back home with a serious look on her face.

"The time is coming. . ." Natalie said to herself. "I'll show my poor excuse of a father who the true monster hunter is. And I'll show everyone why it's not smart to mess with someone with the likes of me."
