After the eventful day at school, Jake was ready to just lay back and not do anything. However, there was still the conversation from earlier that he couldn't get out of his head when he ran into those two girls.

Flashback. . .

Jake: "I'm Jake, by the way. What's your name?"

Wallflower: "I'm Wallflower Blush. You really don't know who I am?"

Jake: "Wait, let me think."

Wallflower: "I'm the leader and founder of the school's gardening club. And I was a new student in one of your classes earlier this year?"

Makayla: "Huh. . . we have a gardening club?"

Jake: "Sorry, nothing is ringing a bell. Maybe once my mind clears out, I'll remember better."

Mikan: "Wait. . . do I know you? I said you reminded me of someone, but now that I'm really looking at you. . ."

Jake: "This is getting kind of weird."

Mikan: "Ah, I'm sorry! It's just. . . I feel like I know you."

Wallflower: "I already tried that. It doesn't seem to work."

End of flashback. . .

"Those girls. . . they swear that they know me." Jake said to himself. "But why? If they know me, then I must know them. Damn it, why can't I remember!?"

"Are you okay, bro?" Makayla suddenly asked as she went into Jake's room.

"Oh, yeah." Jake said. "It's just that I can't seem to get those girls out of my mind."

"The one with green hair and the clumsy one that we met earlier?" Makayla asked. "What about them?"

"Well, it's what they said." Jake said. "I don't really know to put it, but. . . they seem to know me for some reason."

"Yeah. . . that was pretty weird." Makayla said.

"What's up with them?" Jake said with a sigh. "You'd think I'd remember, but I can't."

"Yeah, especially with cute faces like theirs." Makayla said with a smile. "Maybe we should talk to them."

"I don't even know how." Jake said. "I've only just seen them at school today."

"Well, you'll have another chance then." Makayla said.

Suddenly, there was a knock at the door, which caught Jake and Makayla by surprise.

"Huh? Who's here?" Makayla asked.

"I'll get it." Jake said.

Jake then got up and went to answer the door. But when he opened it up, he was shocked to see the two girls from before and a woman he hasn't seen before, or so he thinks. It was Eda, Wallflower, and Mikan.

"You two again?" Jake asked. "And who's the elf-looking woman?"

"I'm not an elf." Eda said. "I'm a witch. And my name is Edalyn Clawthorne. But you can just call me Eda."

"You met us already." Wallflower said. "Though, you probably already forgot."

"Oh, you're Wallflower. Right?" Jake said. "I remember. I just met you and the shy girl this afternoon."

"Ah! Sh-Shy girl?!" Mikan said, taken back by her nickname as Jake didn't seem to remember her name. "My name is Mikan Tsumiki!"

"Oh, you're the girl who tripped." Makayla said.

"Ehh?! D-Dont remind me!" Mikan said as she blushed in embarrassment. "That was so embarrassing!"

"Why are you guys here?" Jake asked.

"Well, I came across these girls when I came through the portal." Eda said. "They said they saw you come this way and led me here."

"So, you stalked me the whole way home?" Jake asked.

"N-No, it's not like that!" Wallflower said, trying to defend her actions. But she knew what it looked like to him. "This woman just wanted to know where you were."

"Why?" Jake asked.

"Well. . . I wanted to see how you were doing." Eda said. "It's been a while, so. . . I don't blame you for forgetting."

"What am I forgetting?" Jake asked.

"It's me. . . I took care of you when you were just a baby." Eda said. "Owlbert brought you to me thought the portal and-"

"Okay, wait a minute." Jake said. "What are you talking about? What portal? And who's Owlbert?"

"Perhaps you just need a bit of help remembering." Eda said. "Luckily for you, I learnt a spell for that."

As she said that, Eda placed a hand on Jake's forehead. And when she did, her hand began to glow a bright orange aura as Jake's eyes suddenly went blank white as flashes of his past that he hasn't seen before began to show.

Flashback. . .

The last thing Jake was shown was him being sent to another world. He couldn't quite get the full picture of the mysterious woman's face, but now it all became clear to him.

The memory began when Jake opened his eyes and looked up at the woman who was now holding him. It was a young woman with orange hair. It was none other than Eda.

"Oh. . . you're awake." Eda said in surprise. "Sorry, I didn't mean to wake you. I'm new to this whole. . . mother thing."

Jake coped amd made baby nosies as he reached his hand to Eda. Eda smiled and held out her finger, which Jake grabbed and let out a small giggle.

"I'm Edalyn." Eda said. "But you can call me Eda. Well. . . I'm not even sure you can talk yet, can you?"

Jake then let out a small sneeze before looking up at Eda and smiled brightly.

Eda laughed and sat down on the couch with the young child. "You're gonna be just fine here." She said with a smile. "I'll take good care of you."

End of flashback. . .

Once the flashback was done, Eda removed her hand from Jake forehead as his eyes went back to normal.

"Eda. . . I remember now." Jake said. "You. . . you took care of me when my mother sent me away."

Eda smiled. "Yeah. . . sorry about that." She said. "I should've asked before-"

Suddenly, Jake ran up to Eda and gave her a big hug.

"Okay. . . this thing again?" Eda said, confused. "I still don't know what's up with you humans and this weird gesture."

"Sorry, I just. . . I'm so sorry for forgetting." Jake said. "You've done so much for me and my mother."

"Aww. . ." Makayla said with a smile. "I thought the family reunions were over, but here we are again."

"And now I bet you remember these two girls?" Eda asked.

Jake broke the big and looked over at Wallflower and Mikan.

"No, I. . . I still don't know them." Jake said. "But if you really do know me, I'd like to get to know you guys once again as well."

"Well. . . I guess it wouldn't hurt." Wallflower said.

"Sure." Mikan said. "I don't have very many friends anyway, so. . . I'm willing to be your friend, Jake."

"Cool." Jake said with a smile.

"Hey, bro." Makayla said, walking up to him. "Aren't you going to introduce me?"

"Oh crap! That's right!" Jake said, facepalming. "Eda, this is Makayla. She's my sister. Well, technically, I guess."

"I see." Eda said. "So, you're part of the new family Jake found, huh?"

"Ooh, we should have a get-together!" Makayla said. "We can bring all of our friends and they can meet your second family."

"Well, we were just his friends at some point." Wallflower said. "But only time will let him realize that."

"That's a good idea, sis." Jake said with a smile. "You have to meet the rest of my friends."

"As a mother of yours. . . I agree." Eda said.

At that moment, the door suddenly opened and someone came inside the home. It was a blue alien with a big head. His name is Megamind.

"Jake! Nora! I have returned!" Megamind said, before stopping in his tracks when he saw what was going on. "What in the name of MetroMan is going on here?"

"Uh. . . I can explain?" Jake said, but not sounding too sure. "I think, anyway."
