The First Confrontation

Everyone was shocked when they saw the blue ninja come out of hiding as he drew his sword, aiming it at them. They certainly expected something, but it wasn't this.

"The name's Jak Luna." The blue ninja said, getting into a battle stance. "Don't wear it out before you die."

"Woah. . . where did you get a sword?" Mikey asked.

"He's just getting straight into the villain role, is he?" Mars said.

"Hmm. . . from your perspective, it may look like I'm the villain." Jak Luna said. "But who are the ones who broke into a high security alien base?"

"Um. . . you were already here when we arrived." Jake said. "So, you technically broke in first."

"He's not wrong." April said.

"Fine. Let's just get to the fight already!" Jak Luna said. "I'm gonna die of boredom."

"How about you die another way?!" Jakus said, angrily as he suddenly pulled out a sword of his own.

"Where did *you* get a sword?!" Mikey asked in shock.

"Alright then. . . let's tussle." Jak Luna said.

As he said that, Jak charged straight at Jakus as their swords clashed. Everyone else spread out around them as they tried to get in the fight as well, but Jakus held out his hand to stop them.

"Don't mind us." Jakus said. "Get that machine up and running, so I can get home! Then you can fight this prick all you want."

"What an asshole!" Mars said angrily.

"No time for that." Leo said. "Let's just get this thing figured out already."

With that said, Donnie went up to where the control panel was to figure out how to work the machine.

"Uh. . . I just remembered I never actually worked a Kraang portal device of this scale before." Donnie said.

"What the hell?!" Jakus yelled angrily, while still keeping his focus on the fight. "The Donnie in *my* universe was able to do it. Then again, he is a highly advanced robotic specimen."

"Move out of the way." Mikey said as he pushed Donnie out of the way. "I have a knack for this sort of thing."

As he said that, Mikey began to press a bunch of different buttons and pulled a bunch of different levers all at the same time. And when he did, the portal machine suddenly began to power up.

"See that?" Mikey said with a smirk. "This is the work of a true genius."

"Uh. . . is it supposed to shake violently like that?" Makayla asked, looking at the portal in fear.

As she said that, everyone looked over at the portal as it began to shake uncontrollably.

"You imbeciles!" Jak Luna said, turning his attention back to the portal. "You're not supposed to mess with it! Do you have any idea what-"

But before Jak could finish complaining, Jakus punched him in the face, causing him to be knocked out.

"Shut up already. Your voice is infuriating." Jakus said as he rushed to the portal machine.

"What's going on?" Mars said, sounding panicked.

"Don't worry, everyone." Donnie said. "I've got the kill switch, remember?"

"No, I've got to get home first!" Jakus said.

"You can't!" Donnie said. "If you enter the portal at this rate, you'll be killed before you can even see the other side."

"Plus, who knows if it's going to your own dimension?" Jake asked.

"I'll risk it." Jakus said.

Suddenly, Jake grabbed Jakus by the arm, keeping him from going into the portal.

"Hey, let go of me!" Jakus said angrily.

"It's not worth getting home if there's a low chance of you making it." Jake said. "It's better to let Donnie do the thing."

"It'll be better if I never have to see you again!" Jakus said.

Jake just sighed. "Alright, you made me do this." He said as his eyes began to glow a bright blue as lightning began to form around his body. "I apologize in advance."

At that moment, Jake suddenly shot a steam of lightning, while still holding on to Jakus's arm.

Even though he held the same amount of power, the amount that Jake was currently producing was enough to send a shock throughout Jakus's body and rendering him unconscious.

"Right, do it now!" Jake called up to Donnie.

Donnie nodded and inserted the USB kill switch into the control panel to stop the machine. But it didn't seem to be doing anything at all.

"Why isn't it shutting down?" Leo asked.

Jake then looked over to a small panel door as it was violently shaking as well. He walked up to it and opened it up, revealing the glowing red gemstone that Jak had used to power it up.

"That's because it's not being powered by electricity." Jake said. "It's being powered by this."

Donnie then walked up to where Jake was in shock by what he saw. "Wait. . . there's no power cell?" He said in shock. "What the heck is this thing then?"

"It looks like some sort of geode." Jake said. "What do we do?"

"Take it out!" Leo called out.

Donnie then reached into the machine and tried to grab the gemstone, but it instantly shocked him as he pulled back and winced in pain.

"Dang. . . this gemstone might as well be a replacement for what powered it before." Donnie said. "It's full of a  powerful energy. Possibly even more so than a typical Kraang power cell."

"I bet I can neutralize it with my powers." Jake said. "Could that work?"

"Well, maybe." Donnie said. "Go ahead and give it a try. I'd love to see you get burned to a crisp if it doesn't work."

Jake shot Donnie a dark glare before turning his attention to the gemstone. He then focused his energy into his hands as his eyes began to glow a bright blue and he grabbed hold of the gemstone and began to attempt to pull it out of its holding.

"Well, you're touching it." Donnie said. "Now pull it out!"

Makayla let out a small snicker as Donnie said that. 'No, don't say it. . . you're better than that.' She said to herself.

Jake tried to pull the gemstone out of the machine, but it wasn't budging.

"This thing won't come out." Jake said. "It's firmly inserted."

'Okay, now they're just asking for it.' Makayla said to herself, holding back another laugh.

Back over at the place of battle, Jakus opened his eyes and looked up to see Jake trying to pry the gemstone from the machine.

"Hey. . . don't do that." Jalus said as he stood up and walked towards the machine. "I need to get home!"

Suddenly, Jakus felt his leg being grabbed, stopping him in his tracks. He looked down to see Jak holding on to him.

"You punch this face. . . you pay the price!" Jak said angrily.

Jakus looked back at the scene on front of him and then back at the blue ninja.

"I have a job to do here!" Jakus said angrily. "And that's doing nothing but going back to my universe before I explode!"

As he said that, Jakus's body glitched out again as he cried out in pain and fell to the floor. Jak smirked as he stood up and began to make his way towards the machine.

"Uh. . . the ninja man is awake." Mikey said, looking behind him.

"Ah, sewer apples!" Donnie said.

"We'll keep him distracted for now." Leo said, getting in a battle stance. "Keep trying to get that gemstone out, Jake. We'll shield you."

Jake nodded as he continued to put all his strength into trying to grab the gemstone from the machine, putting more and more of his power into it to hopefully make it easier.

"Well, well, well. . . looks like I'll just have to power my own way through as well." Jak said, taking out his sword. "To be fair. . . I have yet to show my full power to you."

As he said, his sword suddenly began to glow a bright blue and a blue aura began to form around it.

"What's this now?" Raph asked. "Some kind of magic?"

"Let it be what you can see." Jak Luna said with a smirk. "You won't last long enough to fully grasp it."

Back with Jake, he was still struggling to take the gemstone out of the compartment of the machine. While he was making some small progress, it still barely moved. At that moment, April and Makayla ran up to his side.

"How's the progress, bro?" Makayla asked.

"It's. . . progressing." Jake said.

"Man, I didn't realize your pull-out game was so weak." April said with a smirk.

"Ooh. . . now that's a joke too good to try and ignore!" Makayla said with a smirk as she raised her hand up. "High five for that one."

"Could you maybe help me out a bit?" Jake asked.

"Right." April said.

With that, Makayla and April grabbed on to Jake as they used their combines strength to try and pry out the crystal.

Back with the turtles and Jak, the battle was still raging on as Jak was throwing his sword around and the turtles dodged all of his attacks and vise versa. They were giving it their all the keep Jak Luna busy. But his current state has grown to be too much for them and they were starting the get worn out.

"Man, this guy is tough." Mikey said.

"But we have to fight alongside Jake." Leo said. "We've made a promise to keep him safe and well-protected from harm."

"When did we do that again?" Donnie asked.

"You fools!" Jak Luna said angrily. "You don't realize what you're doing! Are you even aware of what you're protecting?"

"Who cares?" Raph said. "He's my freak buddy! And I'll do whatever it takes to keep him safe."

"I see. . ." Jak Luna said with a smirk. "You were *my* freak buddy once too, Raphael."

"Huh?" Raph said in confusion.

At that moment, Jake raised his sword as it began to become electrified as he aimed his blade down at the ground.

"Jak Luna. . ." Donnie said. "Don't tell me you're-"

"My home dimension will be replenished!" Jak Luna said. "And I *will* return!"

"He is from another dimension after all!" Donnie said. "Jake-"

At that moment, before anything else could be said, Jak plunged his sword into the floor, stabbing through it and inserting it deep into the thick floor.

Jak's eyes then glowed a bright blue as blue lightning began to shoot out from his sword, and spread across the entire top floor and even made it way outside of the building, causing a spectacular light show in the outside of the building.

The lightning even spread over to the machine, causing it to send a shock down Jake, April, and Makayla's bodies as they were still trying to get the gemstone out of it.

Everything after that happened so quickly. There was a bright light and then a large explosion out the side of the TCRI building, causing everyone inside to be sent flying out of the building and falling to the ground far below.

Time seemed to slow down as Jake caught his sight and noticed that they were falling from a great height. But that was all he saw before he felt his life flashing before his eyes.

But right before they all hit the ground, there was a noise and rays of blue light continuously forming around him. Feeling the air escape his lungs and the moisture leaving his body, Jake suddenly felt lighter than before as he continued plummeting towards certain death. . .
