"Wake up! It's time for breakfast sleepyhead!"

I groaned as I rolled over and said "One more minute..". My brother, Midnight Shadow, pushed me right out of bed. I immediately woke up, though, I couldn't tell because everything was black. "Jesus, I'm up I'm up, Mr. I'm-Impatient-I-Need-To-Push-My-Sister-Out-Of-Bed" I remarked tartly. Midnight snorted "Oh please, Seeker. I need food. Now c'mon let's go, hurry, get your slow ass up!"

I got up and I walked over to the door, letting my brother go first. I followed behind. I knew Midnight kept looking back to see if I was still following. He's worse than mom when it comes to my blindness. Midnight will be the freaking death of me one day, I swear.

We soon got to the kitchen and sat at the table. Breakfast was already on our plates.

"Any word from dad?" Midnight asked, spearing his potatoes with his fork
"No, not yet. I do hope he's doing alright" mother said. She hadn't even touched her food.
I decided to not speak in this conversation.

"Your uncle, BlueBones Papyrus is supposed to visit tomorrow to give fighting lessons to you both" mother said after five minutes of silence
"BlueBones?" I asked with a mouthful of potatoes
"Seeker, swallow your food before you speak" mom said before cutting up her eggs and taking a bite
I rolled my eyes and swallowed my food. I, Moonlight Seeker, am not princess material and I wish I wasn't a princess because I wanna talk with my mouth full as I please, thank you very much.

"When will dad come back, mom?" Asked Midnight
"I don't know. He never said. And I wouldn't go looking for him like idiots, Midnight Shadow" Mother said strictly
"But it's adventure"
"But it's death. And eat correctly Modnight for ponies sake"

Midnight was eating without a fork this time, and just using his mouth to pick up and eat food. I snorted a bit, knowing he did this all the time when eating.

After breakfast, Midnight and I were in the courtyard. I was.. watching him do magic. I can't do what he can do. I can't spawn what daddy called 'Gaster Blasters' or make bones appear or anything. Only daddy and Midnight could do that. Hell, I can't do what mama does either; raise the moon. I mean, it's not a bad thing that I'm a normal pony (which is ironic considering I have a horn and wings, which makes me an Alicorn, like mama and Midnight). It might explain why I haven't gotten my cutie mark yet.

I wanted my cutie mark as much as Scooter and her friends do note, Seeker is one year younger than Midnight, who is the equivalent of a 16 year old human but Seeker is still a child on the inside but I also have to think, what will my cutie mark be? Midnight already has his; a Gaster blaster, like daddy's. I don't even know how that's possible, but eh.

I hate not being able to do what midnight does, but I guess it could be a good thing. I don't know. I just want my cutie mark. But you have to earn it. How in the hell am I going to do that?
