Hey May.
School's started back up. I was excited at first, because it's been pretty lonely the last few months, and it'd be nice to talk to people other than mom.
It wasn't a good day.
Robert shoved me into my locker and shut it right before the first class, and nobody came to my rescue. It wasn't until gym class that somebody finally heard me crying, and got the janitor.
I didn't rat him out, though. I just... I just want to have a normal life, May. One where my parents aren't divorcing, my sister isn't far far away, and no one's forgotten my birthday.
Oh, I haven't mentioned that. July 27th passed, not as a happy birthday, but as just another day where my mother mourns about where she went wrong, and my father ignores that the past eighteen years happened.
So yeah, your brother that you left, that you haven't wrote to in months, is eleven now. Yay.
I'm sorry.
May, I'm not... happy.
I miss you.
Please write back.
