Apollo was sent out into the world by Malavore, but with a catch. Apollo was sent out with no recollection of who he is. All he knew was that he had to find a boy named Landon Kirby. So as soon as he rose from the pits of Malavore he followed his gut and which led him to the Salvatore school. There he finds the boy he had been searching for, but there was a few complications. One being the fact that Apollo was falling hard for Landon and he had no idea what to do about it, the second being that Landon was in love with Hope Mikaelson. You know, Apollo never could catch a break when it came to love.
