Sulley and Y/N tucked Boo in bed.

"I think we stopped him, Boo. You're safe now," Sulley assured.

"You be a good girl, okay?" Y/N said.

Just as they turned around, Waternoose was there and shut the door.

"This has gone far enough, you two," he warned.

"She's home now! Just leave her alone!" Sulley demanded.

"I can't do that! She's seen too much. You all have," Waternoose growled.

"It doesn't have to be this way," Y/N pleaded.

"I have no choice! Times have changed. Scaring isn't enough anymore," Waternoose said.

"But kidnapping children?!" Sulley yelled.

"Are you that heartless?!" Y/N added angrily.

"I'll kidnap a thousand children before I let this company die and I'll silence anyone who gets in my way!" Waternoose erupted as he towered himself over the couple.

He slapped Y/N out of the way, making Sulley run to her. Then they saw Waternoose reach for the bed.

"No!" the couple yelled.

But instead of Boo, he held the robotic child. It went through the night routine like it normally did.

"What, wh-what is this?! What? Who? Huh?" Waternoose asked.

"Simulation terminated. Simulation terminated," the computer said.

As the wall lifted, the three monsters were greeted by Mike at the control panel and the CDA.

"Well, I don't know about the rest of you guys but I spotted several big mistakes," Mike told them.

"But-but-but how-how did...? How did...?" Waternoose stammered.

"You know what? Let's watch my favorite part again...shall we?" Mike requested, rewinding the video.

"I'll kidnap a thousand children before I let this company die," Waternoose said on the screen.

"What...? Wha...?" the real Waternoose stuttered as the video replayed continuously.

Boo came from her hiding place a little, speaking baby talk. Y/N and Sulley lightly shushed her, making her do the same and hide again.

"I'll get him. All right, come with us, sir," a CDA agent stated as they grabbed him.

Waternoose said as he was escorted out, "Wh-what are you doing? Take your hands off me! You can't arrest me! I hope you're happy, you two! You've destroyed this company. Monsters, Incorporated is dead! Where will everyone get their scream now?! The energy crisis will only get worse because of you!"

They pulled him out and shut the door. Sulley hung his head low, but Y/N made him look at her.

"Don't listen to him. We had to do what we had to do so he wouldn't harm Boo or any other child. We're going to be okay," she assured.

Sulley smiled as Mike joined them. Then two CDA agents came up to either side of them.

"Stay where you are. Number One wants to talk to you. Attention!" one of them said.

More CDA agents piled in until Number One came in, revealing herself.

"Hello, boys. And girl," Roz greeted.

"Roz?!" all three questioned.

The door slammed and Roz explained as she approached them, "Two and a half years of undercover work were almost wasted when you intercepted that child, Mr. Sullivan and Miss M/L/N. Of course, without your help, I never would have known that this went all the way up to Waternoose."

That's when Boo came out and ran to Sulley and Y/N, making the agents back away cautiously.

"Now...about the girl..." Roz started.

"We just want to send her home," Y/N answered as she picked Boo up and Sulley put an arm around her and a paw on Boo's back.

"Very good," Roz said, turned her watch on, then requested, "Bring me a door shredder."

"What, you mean...you mean, we can't see her again?" Sulley asked.

"That's the way it has to be. I'll give you five minutes," Roz answered.

The couple looked at each other then Boo sadly, knowing what they had to do.
