Sulley x Reader (From Enemies to Lovers) pt. 3

After getting a tour around Monster Incorporated by Mike and Sulley, you suddenly hear this, "Hey, old friend." It's a guy's voice. You turn around and you see a familiar purple scaled guy. He looked almost too familiar to you. He's a reptile. Has the same eight limbs as that boy you remembered. The one with the glasses.

You say, "Wait..." You approach him and you say, "R-Randy? Randall Boggs?" He grins and says, "I see you remembered me, (Y/N)." You say, "I was told you worked here. And James Sullivan." He says, "Oh yeah. HIM." You say, "Randy. He's changed." He says, "But he never stopped messing with ME until we finished high school. You were my friend, (Y/N)... He was a fucking jerk!"

Sulley says, "Randall. That was a long time ago and I'm sorry. You need to get over it." Randall says, "Nobody gets over bullying, Sullivan. You just stopped picking on her because she's a chick." You say, "Randall. He stopped because I stopped caring what he thought of me. I know you were pushed, but are you any different if you've become the villain?"

He looks at you. You sigh and you say, "I'll be back." You walk off. Mike and Sulley follow you and Mike says, "(Y/N)! Wait!" Randall sighs and says, "Nobody's born a villain, (Y/N). Life does this to you. He won against me in the scare games in college and that was the final straw. I couldn't take much more. Bright side is, I have a girl I talk to through text." He grins.

(Time skip.)

You're in a lounge on your break. With you is Sulley. He's seated across from you at a round table. He says, "(Y/N). There's something you've been meaning to tell me. What is it?" You say, "James. There's something you need to know. Why I stopped caring what you thought of me." He says, "Go on."

You say, "James... Seventeen years ago, I came into your neighborhood and came to your place." He says, "Come again?" You say, "Yeah. I happened to be there. Right outside your window. I looked in and witnessed what had happened. I saw the conflict between you and your dad. My brother told me something about this. Rest his soul."

He sighs and says, "So, that's why you stopped trying to fight back, huh? I feel horrible." You say, "No. Don't. I saw how horribly your dad had treated you. You picked on others below you to cover up the fact that you were the one that was hurting. Am I right?"

He says, "I just wanted my dad to be proud of me. My mom died when I was really young and my dad had been the only parent around. But he was not a great guy like everyone saw him. Not at all. He expected too much out of me. He showed no emotion nor did he shed a tear after my mom passed."

You say, "I'm so sorry, James. I know what it's like to lose a family member. I lost my brother, Marcus. I've heard and witnessed everything between you and your dad. He told you he'd disown you if you didn't become top scarer, right?" He sighs and says, "Yeah... He did say that." You say, "And he pushed you aside as he walked passed you." He says, "Yeah. He did that a lot."

You sigh and you say, "James. This is why I stopped trying to fight back at you at the end of fifth grade. I was only eleven years old when I saw this. Even then, I got why you were such a jerk to me and others."

He says, "(Y/N). Exactly how did your brother die? You told me it was from a car accident." You sigh. He says, "Oh hey. It's okay if you don't want to tell me." You say, "No no. It's okay. I'll tell you." He looks at you.

You look at him and you say, "Two years ago, Marcus was on his way to work at the CD store. It's across the Monstropolis bridge. A big truck came at him and slammed into him. His car swerved and he came at the edge of the bridge. He flew out and fell down the bridge. But he didn't land in the water... he ended up hitting a concrete part of the bottom of the bridge."

He says, "Oh my god. Oh, (Y/N). I... I'm sorry." You sigh and you say, "It's... It's okay. If anything, James. I would've rather been teased by you back then with how you were... than to lose my own brother. THAT was the worst day of my life after finding out. The way you treated me was nothing. My brother's death is what hurt me most. I looked up to him. He was a role model to me. And now... he's gone." You sigh and you put your hand up to your face.

He says, "(Y/N)." You sigh and you say, "I... I'm sorry." You feel tears in your eyes. He grabs your other hand. You sigh and you take his hand. He says, "Hey... Look at me. Please?" You put your hand down and you look at him.

He says, "We all have our regrets. With how Randall is... I feel like part of that is my fault. I pushed him. If I could, I'd take it all back. And with how I treated you and Jill... It was uncalled for. I was a jerk and I was idiotic because of my dad. Not everyone saw how he really was... until you came to my house and saw for yourself."

You say, "James. I forgive you. I understood after I saw that. Nobody's born bad." He sighs and says, "Neither was Randall. He was the nicest kid. He would do anything for anyone. I ruined that. And... I have to fix it." You look at him.

He looks at you and he says, "But I'll need your help on this. He'll trust you more than he'll trust me. You were his friend to begin with... I was his bully." You say, "I'll need Jill on this. Now I'm convinced that Randall's the one she's been chatting with through text."

He looks at you and he says, "But along with that... I'd like to make it all up to you, especially." You look at him. He says, "What do you say about a date, huh?" You say, "R-really? You?" He says, "Yeah. Look... (Y/N). I know there was major conflict between us years ago, but that's all passed us, now. The past is done when it comes to that. I'm not like that, anymore. I may be a major scarer like my dad, but I'm not as bad as he was. I never wanted to be like him. I want to make it all up to you. What do you say, huh?"

You smile and you say, "A date sounds nice." He smiles and says, "Ah, that's great. You know my buddy Mike won Celia Mae over?" You say, "Wow. So my friend Jill's little sister is dating your assistant now? I'm glad she found someone."

He says, "Yeah. Even Randall managed to find someone. I... didn't." You say, "Hey. Don't feel left out. I don't have anyone either... until now." He looks at you and you look at him. At that moment, you realize that you and James Sullivan, your former arch enemy are now getting along and become more than friends.

(Time skip.)

A week goes by. You and Sulley have become a couple. He's happy about it and so are you. You get along great. The opposite of what it once was years back. Right now, you're both face to face with Randall Boggs. You're at work and in a room.

He says, "Alright, Sullivan. Why did you call me in here?" Sulley says, "Randall. (Y/N) and I want to talk to you." He says, "I'll talk to her, but not you." You say, "Randall. I get why you're so bitter now." He says, "You wouldn't understand."

You say, "I do, actually." He looks at you. You say, "Look, Randy. I get it. You were pushed. Nobody's born bad. I remember what a sweet boy you used to be." He says, "(Y/N)... Those days are over. Nothing even YOU do can change the way I am now. Face it... I'm not the wimpy, geeky, dorky little guy I used to be. I've become something that makes you wish I were that dorky kid again." You say, "Randy. Look at me." He says, "Why?" You say, "Just look at me. Please?"

He sighs and says, "Fine." He looks at you. You say, "If you and James can get along... I can do something for you. I think you might like it." He says, "Name it." You say, "I can hook you up with my friend Jill." He says, "You know about that?"

You say, "I knew she was chatting with someone. And even back in junior high and high school, I could see how close you guys were going to get in the future. You liked her, Randy. I know you did." He sighs and says, "Bring Jill to me first and maybe I'll consider getting acquainted with Sullivan." You all shake on it.

What happens is, you talk Jill into coming to Monsters Inc to see Randall. She does. They see each other and are more than happy to finally come face to face. Not on the other end of their phones. After so long, Randall finally gets along with Sulley and Mike. Sulley especially since he was bullied by him in school for so long.

As a result, you and Sulley end up married within two years and you end up with a son you name Reginald James Sullivan. You call him Reggie. He looks like his dad, but has just a touch of your color hair on the top of his head. Not too much. Just a tad bit. Sulley ends up a much better father towards his son than his own father was towards HIM.

Randall and Jill end up with a daughter. Felicity Boggs. She looks like Jill, but has the first four upper limbs like Randall does and has his ability to camouflage herself. He becomes extremely protective towards Felicity due to the whole father being protective of his daughter thing.

Mike and Celia also end up with a daughter. Zoe Wazowski. She looks like Celia but has a green complexion like Mike does. Mike's the same way with Zoe. Being a protective father towards his daughter. So, Zoe and Felicity are maternal cousins.

(End.)
