You get to Monsters Inc and you park outside. You get out of your car and you walk towards the building. The slogan says, "It's Laughter We're After." You smile and you excitingly say, "Here we go. Time to make some human kids laugh." 

You pull up a puppet and you say, "With my puppet pal. Mr. Weirdo." You use a higher pitched voice and you act out the puppet saying, "I'm not the weirdo. YOU'RE the weirdo. You and your extreme obsession with that lizard guy." In your normal voice, you say, "Oh, you."

You head inside and you're hit with the cool air as you enter. You look around and you smile. You enthusiastically say, "Neat. Big place. Then again, all of our power comes from this place with laugh power." You sigh and you whisper, "God, I miss Randall."

You hear a deep voice saying, "Hi there." You look to see a familiar furry blue monster from university. It's James P. Sullivan. Greatest scarer known to all monsters when monsters were still scaring. Now Sullivan is the CEO of Monsters Incorporated after Henry Waternoose whom had apparently been sent to prison for some reasons you couldn't figure out.

You smile and you say, "Hey. Sulley! I remember you from college." He takes a good look at you and he says, "Oh hey. I remember you too. You're (Y/N) (L/N). You went into the anime club because two different sororities fought over you." You say, "Yeah. PNK and HSS. It was too much pressure on me, so I joined the anime club. And being a huge fan of anime. Scaring wasn't for me, anyways." 

He says, "Hey, that's alright. Laughter is all the rage now, anyhow. Welcome aboard, Miss. (L/N)." He holds his hand out. You take it and you shake it saying, "Happy to be here, Sulley." You move your hand away. He says, "What's your laughing tactic?" You hold your puppet up and you say, "Mr. Weirdo. My puppet." 

Sulley says, "Hey, that's great. A lot of kids like puppetry." You grin and you say, "I think so, too. Monster or human kids. Ha ha. And they said that human children were toxic to the touch once." He says, "Trust me. They're not. Humans are like us, only... human. And we need their laugh for our power to stay on here in Monstropolis." 

You say, "Yeah. That I know." He says, "Laughter gives off more energy than scaring did. I discovered that when we had a female human child in our world by the name Boo. Also, when I've realized that human kids were NOT toxic to the touch." You say, "I figured hand puppets like Mr. Weirdo here would be my thing for that." 

He says, "I'm going to stick you with the much younger children. Infants and toddlers. Better audience for a laugh with Mr. Weirdo there." You say, "I kind of figured older kids wouldn't give a hoot unless it was something like a fart joke... Unless you acted your puppets out to their taste." Sulley says, "Exactly. Come with me and I'll show you around this factory." 

You smile and you say, "I'd be delighted." You follow Sulley around and you meet the others like Mike... or see him again after so many years. His girlfriend Ceila Mae, Tylor Tuskmon, Val, etc. They're all nice so far.

(Time Skip... Yeah. Lazy moment. XD Didn't feel like having the reader be introduced to everyone.)

You got to knowing everyone and so far they're good to you. They love your enthusiasm and your idea with your puppet Mr. Weirdo. You're going to be making a little female human infant by the name Snore laugh. Mike told you about her and said she's absolutely adorable. You couldn't wait. You have your puppet Mr. Weirdo with you.

You're by the door right now. Your assistant is next to you. You hear the announcements saying, "Alright jokesters. Ready to make kids laugh?" You grin and you yell, "Yes ma'am! I am!" You knew it was Celia Mae. She says, "Alright, jokesters. Be ready. By the way (Y/N), nice enthusiasm. You're sure to do just well." You say, "Thanks, Celia!" 

Celia over the speakers says, "Alright. And three... two... one... And go!" Your assistant says, "Good luck, kiddo." You grin and you say, "Thanks Miriam." You and other jokesters go through the doors. You close the door.

You're in the room now. You look ahead to see a human baby girl. She's awake and sitting up. She's facing you. You gasp and you sweetly say, "Awe... Well, aren't you just a pwecious wittle thing? Hello, Snore.~" She giggles. You approach the crib.

You smile and you say, "Yes. You're a pretty little girl. Yes you are. Sweet wittle thing, you.~" She giggles. You gasp and you bring your puppet up. You say, "Oh look. Mr. Weirdo came to say goodnight to you.~" You do your little puppet act and you play with Snore a bit, making her laugh.

You turn around and you put your hands up to your heart whispering, "I wish to have Randall's babies.~" You turn back to face Snore and you say, "Sweet dreams cutie pie. Pleasant little dreams.~" Snore yawns and she lays down. She closes her eyes and falls asleep. You smile and you say, "Awe.~" You walk out of there and you close the door behind you.

Your assistant Miriam says, "Hey, kid. Check out the canister." You look and you see that the red line is all the way up. You gasp and you grin saying, "Awesome!" Mike, Sulley and Celia come up to you and Mike smiles saying, "Wow, (Y/N)! Very impressive for your first day." You say, "Thanks, Mike. I love babies." 

Celia says, "That's good." Sulley says, "We'll stick you with the little ones from now on, (Y/N). Mike's right. That was really good for your first go. The canister's full of laugh energy." Mike says, "Adorable, ain't she?" You say, "Very." Sulley says, "Come on. Let's all go upstairs and have a break. Eat some snacks." You all head out of the laugh floor.

(Time skip.)

A week into meeting everyone, you suddenly revisit Johnny Worthington and Claire Wheeler. Turns out, Claire and Johnny are married now and they have two children. You actually grew up with Claire. Since you were kids. You were in the same grade in school.

She was with you as much as possible. You've had your mental health issues for several years. She was one of the only monsters that was capable of keeping you calm when you were both kids and you were in the behavioral disability class. B.D. Kind of like your mental hospitals of school. You were on some kind of point sheet for teachers to monitor your behavior. 

**(Again, sorry for the trigger warning.)**

Whenever you'd lash out and some teachers couldn't handle you, Claire would be there for you. She would tell you to keep calm, relax, or even say shh it's okay. Or hum a tune to you. She was in there briefly herself, because she put a smoke bomb in the principal's office. 

Johnny thought that part was hilarious when she told him. You grew up with her and you were neighbors and best friends. You've been as close to her as Johnny and Randall have been. The quote on quote 'joined at the hip.' They nearly released Claire from the B.D. class, but she stayed behind for your sake because she cared about you. You needed her around to keep calm.

Right now, you're in another part of the factory with Johnny and Claire. When you saw her for the first time in nearly a decade, you ran to her and you both hugged each other. Johnny says, "Alright, gals. I'm bringing an old buddy of mine back here. Randall Boggs." You gasp. He says, "I saved him from those swamp people in the human world where Sullivan banished him." 

You look at him and you say, "Wait. Sulley? He did it?" Johnny says, "Yep. He and Mike Wazowski both. They threw him in there." You sigh and you look away. Claire looks at you. Johnny gets a door ready and it's in its place.

Johnny says, "Alright. I'm bringing him out of there and through these doors, ladies." You wait with anticipation. Johnny opens the door and he steps aside. You watch. You suddenly see a familiar lizard monster appear and face all of you. Johnny smirks and says, "Boggs. Welcome back." Randall grins and says, "Ha ha ha. Good to be back, Johnny." Claire says, "Hey, Randall." You sigh and you smile whispering, "Senpai.~"
