You're a nineteen-year-old girl named (Y/N) (L/N). You live in the city of Atlanta, Georgia. You live in an apartment with your best friend Elaine Green. It's a two-bedroom apartment, so you have your own rooms. 

Out of the two of you, Elaine is the slutty friend. She has wavy blonde hair, green eyes, a southern accent, is usually seen wearing tank tops, short shorts, short skirts, etc. You on the other hand don't show off like she does. Sure, you'll wear a shirt that barely shows cleavage once in a while, but you don't reveal much like Elaine does.

Right now, you're both in the living room watching TV. You scroll through the channels on the Roku. You find something recently trending on the news and Elaine says, "Ooh. We got ourselves one here in Atlanta. Click on it and let's see." 

You click the video and it's a video taken at the Atlanta Zoo. The news reporter is standing just right outside the gates of the zoo and the zookeeper who is a man is standing next to her. The reporter is Miss. Audrey McDowell. The zookeeper is Wayne Lopez.

Audrey says, "Audrey McDowell here with Atlanta's zookeeper, Mr. Wayne Lopez. Mr. Lopez has something very interesting to talk to us about. Would you like to tell us what it is you've discovered and had brought to your zoo?" 

Wayne says, "Yes, ma'am. I've discovered some large lizard creature lurking in our city. I tried to get him with a net at first. He just vanished. Nowhere to be found. But then I realized this thing could camouflage itself, so I got my special goggles that can see a chameleon. I know this as a zookeeper who has other reptiles here. But something about our new one is different. This one... Well, it speaks. That's how I know this giant lizard is a male." 

The scene changes to a bunch of people crowded around a glass cage and the reporter says, "We shot this scene to see this lizard creature for ourselves." They show the lizard. He seems to be looking around as he's trapped in there. You say, "Holy shit." Elaine says, "Damn, that thing is huge." 

You stifle a laugh. She giggles. You both laugh and she says, "That totally came out wrong, didn't it?" The reporter says, "That's right. The lizard is here at Atlanta Zoo if anyone's interested in seeing the new attraction." The lizard monster looks around. He disappears and everyone gasps. A little girl says, "Mommy, look! The lizard thing disappeared!" The lizard says to himself, "Fools are easily amused." 

Elaine gasps and says, "That thing just disappeared!" You say, "Elaine. He's a chameleon. He camouflaged himself." She says, "Neat. Hey, we need to go to the zoo and see that there lizard ourselves." You say, "Alright. We'll go tomorrow and see him for ourselves." She says, "I wonder if he's got a name." You say, "He might." 

(Time skip.)

The next day, you and Elaine are on your way to the Atlanta Zoo. You're walking there since you're only five blocks away from the zoo. Elaine says, "I'm so bringing Josh to my place tonight." You say, "Seriously? That guy? Ugh, he's such a sleaze." 

She smirks and says, "He knows how to kiss... down under.~" You say, "Just keep it down." She grins and says, "Sure thing... You need some too, girl. Get some." You say, "No time, Elaine." She says, "Oh, come on. You're a pretty girl. You need some action." 

You say, "Elaine. Nobody's interested in me." She says, "Well, you don't know that. Just you wait. Someone will come to you any time, now. And trust me. Sex is the best. It is the best dang thing ever. So good.~" You say, "If I ever get even a kiss in my life." 

You get to the zoo and you head into the gates after paying your way in. You walk around and you spot a worker. You walk to her and you say, "Excuse me." She sees you and she smiles saying, "Hi there. How can I help you ladies today?" 

You say, "We're looking for the lizard. The one everyone's crazy about." She says, "Oh him? He's gonna be in with the rest of the reptiles. He's behind a glass cage in the building they hold the reptiles in. The reptile house." You say, "Thanks." You and Elaine walk off and she grins and says, "Let's go see that big lizard thing now." 

You and Elaine make it to the reptile house and you get inside. You walk further until you see a bunch of people at a glass. You say, "That's got to be it. They don't give a shit about anything else in the reptile house." 

You and Elaine walk over and you see for yourselves. The giant lizard creature is purple, has three fronds on his head with pink tips, a blue tail, eight limbs, etc. Elaine says, "My god. He's a big fella." You say, "What is he? He doesn't seem like any typical type of reptile." 

Right in the glass, the lizard creature is sitting there. He looks towards the humans looking in at him. He looks away and says, "Ugh. This is humiliating. I could be back in my own world, working at Monsters Inc and scaring kids. Not be trapped in a fucking cage at a zoo in the human world. Now I'm a joke." He sighs and sits up.

He approaches the glass, crawling over. The others gasps. A little boy clings to his mom. You walk over and you get a closer look. The lizard creature looks around, but then he spots YOU and he gasps. You look in at him. At this point, now he's focused on you and nobody else.

He stands up and he walks closer. He puts his hands upon the glass he's trapped behind as he looks at you. An older woman whispers, "He seems focused on that young lady now, dear." Her husband whispers, "Yeah. I see it, too." 

You say, "I hear you can talk... lizard thing." He looks at you and says, "Yeah. I can." Everyone gasps and they say, "Oooh." "Ahh." in amusement. Elaine says, "He does talk!" You say, "Do you have a name?" He says, "Yeah. Randall." You say, "I'm (Y/N)." He looks at you and says, "(Y/N)." A mother in there says, "Wow. That girl's communicating with the lizard creature. And his name's Randall?" 

A moment later, Elaine walks to you and says, "This is neat and all, but we gotta get. We got other things to see besides him." She's about to grab you, but Randall hisses saying, "Hey!" Everyone gasps. He says, "She goes when I say she can, got it?!" Elaine says, "Well, dang. He's hostile, ain't he?" 

You say, "Just give me a moment, okay Elaine? I'll be right out." She says, "Well... alright. Just be careful with that thing." You say, "I'll be fine." She walks out of there. So does everyone else. Now you're alone in the reptile house and facing Randall who's behind the glass cage.

He says, "Sorry for hissing at your friend there. But then again, it's in my nature to scare humans off." You say, "You're not from anywhere on this Earth, are you?" He says, "No. At least not in the human world." You say, "Do you come from another world?" He says, "Yeah. Monstropolis is the city I'm from." 

You say, "Where?" He says, "It's in the monster world. There, I'm a normal civilian. I was banished and thrown into a door in a trailer. Two other monsters left me in this world. I've been in this world for over seven months, unable to get back. That damn zookeeper has me trapped here now." 

You say, "Well shit. You've been in this world that long?" He says, "Yeah. It sucks in here. It really does. I was top scarer in my world. Now look where I am. It's a fucking joke." You say, "Awe. You poor thing." He looks around and he looks at you. 

He says, "Hey. The zookeeper probably keeps his keys in his office somewhere in this building." You say, "Are you getting to something, Randall?" He says, "Hey... Listen. I need your help. I need you to get the keys and get me out of here. Take me with you." You say, "What? I..." 

He looks at you with a pleading look and says, "Please? I'll be nice to your friend. I'll do anything. Just get me the fuck out of here. Please?" You sigh and you say, "Okay... I'll try." He grins and says, "Ah, you're great. Sneak here tonight at night when nobody's around. Not even security guards are going to be around to patrol this place after midnight. Grab the keys from the office in this building. The ones that unlock the door to this cage... and free me. Take me to your place." 

You look at him and you say, "Sneaking out after I break you out won't be a big problem for you. I know you can camouflage." He says, "Back at home, that was my best quality for scaring." You say, "Randall. I'll take you in, but I can't let anyone but Elaine find out I have a reptile monster in my house." 

He says, "That won't be a problem." After a talk Randall says, "You can go back to your friend now. But be back." You say, "Why me though? Just wondering." He says, "Something about you is different from other humans, (Y/N)."

After the communication with Randall, you head out. He watches as you leave and he says, "I never thought I'd have this happen to me. But holy shit, she's the most beautiful human I've ever seen in my life. Never thought I'd see the day where I'd fall in love with one. I want her to bust me out. Anything to be around her.~
