Later on after work, you're at home. It's 9pm. You've got Randall with you. You drove because he can't even do that after his accident and being nearly brain dead. He'll be living with you since he's dependent at the moment. He can't live on his own while he's like this.

You smile and you hold him close. He says, "I'm always gonna love you. For the rest of my living days. That car came for me. Almost killed me. I'm here. I want to be here with YOU, my sweet (Y/N). Don't leave me alone. Please?" He hugs you tighter.

You lean down and you kiss him on the top of the head. You say, "Honey. I'm not going to leave you alone. I'll be by your side for as long as it takes. (Y/N)'s here, cutie pie.~" You kiss him on the front frond. 

He sighs and he smiles saying, "Pet my fronds. Please?" You say, "You want me to massage them?~" He nods. You say, "Alright, baby. You both get up and you bring him to your bedroom door. You bring him in and you close the door. You say, "Go lay on my bed, baby. It's yours now, too. We'll be sharing the bed.~" He walks to your bed and he sits on it. He lays down.

You guys suddenly hear thunder outside and he gasps and sits up. You both hear a loud boom outside and he yelps, "Ahh!" He leans in and he wraps his four upper limbs around you. You hold him close and you say, "Shh shh shh. Baby, it's alright. It's just thunder."

He shakes a bit and he says, "(Y/N). Don't leave me alone. Stay with me." You stroke the back of his head and you say, "I'm not going anywhere, pumpkin. I'm right here with you. Later, you find out the horrible truth as to why Randall got into that car wreck in the first place. Turns out, your mom faked her death. She waited over a year to sneak to Monsters Incorporated one time and plant some device in Randall's car.

She knew about you and Randall and figured he'd be a bad example for you. So, she planted something in his car to make his car go out of control and try to kill him and the other driver. You know this because when you saw her show up at the factory one day, you were happy. But then she showed her true colors and told you she was responsible for Randall's car accident. Turns out... it was no accident. She tried to murder him and another life.

Infuriated and outraged, you take this to court. The rest of the monsters at your workplace that you know show up at court to defend you. All of them were shocked by her actions, as well. As a result, your mom's placed in prison for two counts of attempted murder. 

She tried to defend herself by saying, "No daughter of mine is dating some poor criminal! He had to go! But being a brain-dead dummy is better. A fate worse than death! Ha ha ha!" Nobody took her side. Some monsters at your workplace even said that what Randall did was nothing compared to her actions.

You cut all ties with her. And instead of being pronounced deceased, your dad immediately files for a divorce with her. He apologizes to you and tells you he had no idea she would do such a horrible thing. You didn't blame him. 

What Randall did while he was at Monsters Inc as a scarer with kidnapping human kids for their scream and trying to rid Sullivan was nothing compared to what had been done to HIM. At least Sulley and Mike didn't end up with brain trauma. Now you hated your mom with every fiber ounce of your being. Your dad was by your side. He helped you with getting Randall back on track. 

Your dad himself not only owned a huge company, but he was a special needs teacher in Monstropolis Special School at one point. What Randall was like in his state was nothing compared to other students he had in the past. 

Compared to most of his students, Randall was still highly functioned. Besides, it's your dad that was rich in the first place. Turns out, your mom only married him for the money. Luckily for you, you're the one inheriting his stuff after he retires or dies.

Luckily in a year and three months, Randall's brain trauma eases and he's beginning to be his old self again. But less hostile towards Sulley, Mike and Fungus. He's able to camouflage well and scare again. Waternoose switches him back to the scare floor as a scarer. 

Randall eventually apologizes to Mike and Sulley for his own actions and the car accident taught him to be kinder to others that were not you.
