Jason Voorhees is a guest character introduced in Mortal Kombat X as a crossover with the Friday the 13th movie series. Jason died as a young boy, drowning because of the negligence of the staff of the summer camp he was in. His mother settled in the area and started murdering in retaliation, going on for years until she died at the hands of her own prey. This sprung Jason to rise from the dead as a vengeful juggernaut and enter an endless killing spree. Many have tried to stop him, to no avail, and fell under his bloodlust. Liu Kang, who had recently become ruler of the Netherrealm, turned his attention to Jason and how useful he would have been for his plans of conquest. He convoked him to his realm and promised him an endless pool of slaughter in return for his allegiance. He regretted doing it.

Powers and Abilities: Superhuman physical characteristics, martial arts (Makes use of an effective custom fighting style), machete mastery, acrobatics (Can perform a number of jumping punches and kicks. Due to being an undead, most of his lower body has a low temperature. Many different attempts at killing him proved futile. •Straight Jab: A standard jab to the head.

•Fist Lung: A strong punch delivered while stepping forward.

•Low Poke: A crouching punch.

•Dark Hook: A violent punch to the jaw.

•Double Fist: A rising attack done by clunching the fists together and swinging them upwards.

•Skull Slam: A double hammer punch to the temples done with both fists.

•Machete Throw: Jason grips the opponent's shoulder and slashing their gut, forcing them on their knees. As they lay down in pain, Jason swings his machete down through their head and kicks them away.

•Camp Killer: Jason does a skull slam, punches the opponent in the midsection, lifts them up with both hands and slams them to the other side.

•Back Breaker: Jason grabs the opponent, holds them by the face and slams them back-first onto his bent knee.

°Spine Shatter: Jason slams the opponent twice for safety measure.

•Killing Machine: Jason temporarily coats himself in yellow that prevents the enemy's attacks from staggering or knocking him back, while still dealing the expected amount of damage.

•Bloodshed: Jason lifts the opponent with a single hand, stabs them twice and kicks them away.

°Bloodlust: After stabbing the opponent for a second time, Jason slowly drives the machete even deeper into them, before kicking them away.

•Machete Toss: Jason hurls the machete at the opponent, making it spin like a buzzsaw.

°Machete Throw: Jason launches his machete with higher force.

•Pursuit: Jason cracks his neck, casting a spell that temporarily blocks the opponent's ability to dash and run, as well as reversing their movements.

°Dark Pursuit: Jason activates the ability faster.

•Lake Mist: Jason walks backwards into a curtain of fog and appears behind the opponent.

°Blood Mist: Jason teleports faster.

•Punishment: Jason summons an eerie glow around his chain, strengthening all of his attacks for a brief time.

°Rampant: Jason activates the ability more quickly, increases his power even more and makes it longer.

•Rise: Jason conjures a white mist that flows from his mask into his body, which progressively heals a little portion of his health, unless he is hit during the process.

°Corpse Walk: Jason recovers faster and more, albeit for a longer period of time.

•Resurrection: When Jason is knocked out cold, possibly even killed, lightning bolts fall from the heavens into his body, making him rise again with a limited portion of his overall health. The electricity also generates a shockwave that pushes nearby opponents away.

•The Horror: Jason grabs the opponent's shoulder, holding them tight, and drives his machete vertically through their head, piercing the jaw and penetrating all the way through the top of the head. With the machete still stuck in the victim's skull, Jason pushes it upwards to bend their cervical vertebrae to the point of shattering it completely. Jason then yanks the machete out and finishes with a violent stab through the chest that smashes the spine.

Fatalities:

•Kill for Mother: Jason brings out machete and chops diagonally, cleaving cleanly through the opponent's body from shoulder to chest. He then rages on, swinging the blade two more times to bisect the victim.

•Sleeping Bag Killer: Jason grabs the opponent's ankles and slams them to the opposite direction with enough force to make one of their arms come off from the body. Not done yet, Jason slams them again, severing the other arm, and yet one final time, dismembering head and legs from the torso.

Brutalities:

•Blunt Trauma: Jason performs either a Temple Slam or a shoulder charge, striking the opponent so hard to decapitate the opponent and launch their head far away.

•Bloodbath: Jason performs a Bloodlust, but instead of kicking the opponent away, he pulls the machete upwards to slice them torso in half from the waist up.

•Go to Hell: Jason performs the Horror, and after yanking the machete out of the opponent's skull, he decapitates them with a clean slash.

•Spinal Tap: Jason performs a Back Breaker, slamming the opponent on his knee one more time with increased violence, splitting their body in two.

•Head Spin: While Pursuit is active, Jason performs a Crippler but instead of simply snapping the opponent's neck, he twists it wholly to nearly decapitate them.

•Throw Brutality: Jason performs his machete throw, splitting the opponent's head in half completely.
