The murder monkeys are the first threats Doug Houser faces in Dark Decepticon. They are the twisted souls of the humans, who were violent murders when they were alive, turned into murderous robot monkeys because in life, they gave in to their animalistic urge to kill. As monsters of the Nightmares, they (along with the Chef Monkeys, their more aggressive and bloodthirsty version) are the main threats of the 1st level: Monkey Business.

Powers and Abilities: Superhuman physical characteristics, bodily weaponry (Teeths, handknives for Murder Monkeys, and pizza cutters for Chef Monkeys), inorganic physiology (Type 2. They have googly eyes and metallic components such as weapons and large keys attached to their backs like a wind-up toy, implying them to be robotic), telepathy |All previous abilities, plus: extrasensory perception (The ability to see enemies through walls, even working against invisibility)

Attack Potency: Wall level (Can break apart wooden doors)|Wall level (Elise Houser has stated to be more terrified of them compared to the Murder Monkeys, implying them to be at least stronger)
