Elder Centipede was a high-ranking member of the Monster Association who first appeared in S-City, wreaking havoc and fighting the S-Class heroes Metal Bat and Bofoi. Elder Centipede was an exceptionally powerful monster. A pumped up Metal Bat was unable to deal even the slightest damage to the monster's carapace. Furthermore, Bofoi's missiles also proved to be nothing but a slight hindrance. Genos was barely able to break a single tooth of Elder Centipede and only managed to somewhat injure the monster once he attacked its internal organs. The combined might of Bang and Bomb was enough to shatter Elder Centipede's carapace, but this proved to be only superficial damage and was not a fatal injury at all. In fact, this caused the monster to molt into an even more monstrous and powerful form, to the point where Bang was unsure if he could survive the battle. Elder Centipede was finally killed after being hit with a serious punch from Saitama.

Powers and Abilities: Superhuman physical characteristics, large size (Type 3), bodily weaponry, regeneration (Low-Mid; Able to grow back his outer shell and repair damage to his eyes and internal organs), reactive evolution, size manipulation (Able to adapt through molting, making him bigger and stronger), acid manipulation (Has a powerful digestive acid inside of his body that he can use to melt opponents even as strong as Genos), underground mobility (Usually travels by tunneling beneath the ground)

Attack Potency: At least Mountain level (One of the strongest members of the Monster Association. Gyoro Gyoro estimated that only the stronger members of the S-Class could challenge him which would make him superior to the likes of Evil Eye. Almost leveled a whole city when he was younger and smaller during his fight with Blast. Slightly harmed Bang and Bomb. Notable Attacks and Techniques:

•Giant Centipede Tidal Wave: Elder Centipede moves in a swirling motion, causing mass amounts of damage in its wake. This technique was first seen used to shake Metal Bat off of Elder Centipede.

•Molting: Every time he sheds his outer shell, Elder Centipede grows bigger and stronger than he was before, alongside gaining another gaining another face.

•Acidic Digestive Fluids: Elder Centipede's insides are coated with extremely corrosive digestive fluids that would even melt the cybernetic body of Genos if he stayed in contact with them for too long.
