Journey to another Void

  When Naomi returns with the clothes I take them silently and enter another room to change. When I come back to Naomi, the apothecary had left us. I give Naomi a nod and soon I follow out after her. We step outside into the cool, still night air.

  I glanced up towards the night sky and I spotted the Orion’s belt. I looked back down towards Naomi who wasn't happy still.

“Listen we are going to have to get along somehow.”  I stated to her.

“No.”  Naomi hissed.

“Why not?” I asked her.

“People with magic powers like you and us don't ever get along in anyway.” Naomi glared.

“Fine whatever!” I snapped, feeling anger overpowering me.

  I rolled my shoulders and I continued to follow her in silent pursuit.

  Without me noticing, Naomi opened a void to another realm. I looked between her and the void and she crosses her arms.

“Find Lukas he will help you figure out who you are.”  Naomi ordered, before pushing me into the void.

 As I toppled through the void I felt tiredness overcoming me.

 When I awoke, I was asleep against a tree trunk in a strange new place. I looked around the place I was in, trees grew above the clouds (it looked like) and there was a small creek that ran near me. The water flow was heavy so it must be raining or it was previously raining. I pushed myself up, with the help of the tree. The rough bark against my back hurt quite a bit but I ignored the pain against my back.

  I limped towards the nearest lantern light I could see. When I stumbled into the light I was falling forward into mud. Before reaching the ground I felt arms wrap around my chest.

“Are you ill?” Asked a worried woman’s voice.

  I shook my head and I steadied myself before I could fall to the ground again. The woman watched in silent disbelief on who I was and where I could of came from. The woman glanced around ‘til another voice echoed to them.

“Mother?!” A male’s voice called out.

 I looked over to see the male stepped from the brush before us. The mother turned her attention to the male, which is her son and she smiled.

“Lukas Bremfield.” his mother stated.
