i had to go back,

had to see you.

in the dead of night,

when no one

was awake,

i picked the lock

to my old house

and walked

to my old room.

when i opened

the closet door,

you weren't there.

i could feel the

tears threaten,

but a low voice

made me turn around.

and there you were,

jet black eyes,

and ghostly white skin

standing behind me.

"don't cry, hoseok,"

and for the first time,

I watched a real smile

play onto your

lips as you

wiped the tear

cascading down my

cheek.

"i would never

leave you."
