I love sweets , cupcakes , cookies , those little colorful candy design into one piece of a single candy! , I thought about sweets every day and night.

However my parents were more strict about the sugar coated sweets and the danger to the teeth within the candy or other sweets , there for I was only to have only few candies or other sweeties , here and there.

At times they were given to me for holidays or special occasions , however my parents were always on my back about the amount I eat of the delicious sweets.

Sometimes I wish I live with parents who weren't so overprotective about sweets , than one day everything changed....

It was around spring time , my school was closed for spring break which was the perfect time , my friends Jack , Mary and Michael we are planning on a sleepover for fun , Michael promise to bring sweets.

I got everything ready for the perfect day , I happen to go into town for some supplies...however this store caught my attention.

It...it was a candy and bakery store! , what my luck! , I decided to go there to check it out myself. Before I enter I notice the design and colors around the store threw the big outside window. On the window it spell out "Mr. Remy's sweet town".

I was amused by the name and everything inside once I enter I notice the sweetest heaven candies and other sweets known to man!.

Inside were maybe hundreds yet even thousands of sweets , I couldn't believe this! I never thought anyone would sell all this in this town.

I went to the door , slowly open the door as the top of the door it rings with a bell attached to it.

It look old fashioned store , back in the days of my parent's life. The candy were in jars , there was trays of many color and design of cupcakes!. It was like a little child's dream into real life!.

"Hello there , welcome to Remy's sweet town here for the candy or the good sweets?" A friendly yet deep little voice appear , I look back to see a tall grown male with a top hat match with his suit , purple and black , along with his long slightly hair , dark red and shining black classic shoes like the ones my dad has. His eyes were bright blue like the sky , he had bandages around his hands?.

Maybe he was in accident , I didn't question it , the man hold onto the same color like his suit and hat , it look as if it was a cane?.

I look at the male with curiosity , questionable , confused look on my face. The man simply smile at me in a friendly matter.

Than I spoke "I was just looking , I never seen so much sweets like this before"

The man pause for a moment than spoke as he seems amused by my respond. "Ah , yes I love sweets...you see I always love sweets when I was a kid like you..."

The man walk to his counter , than he grab a jar from top of the shelf and begin to open the jar's top lid.

"Here try..." The man pull out few pieces of delicious colorful candy , I couldn't resist and begin to take them as I ate one candy. The favor was out of this world , I couldn't stop eating it until it was all gone.

The man just smile silent as if he knew I would like the candy. I ask how much for the sweets , but the man stop me and said it was free for me.

I thank the man as I left the store , continuing to do my business.

At night I couldn't help but toss and turn all over my bed , I had these strange dreams , the dreams were off as all I heard was screams and laughter.

Than a white painted door stood there as I was able to only walk towards the door , I reach out to open it but it disappear suddenly.

I than woke up in a cold sweat , I look around and saw nothing wrong with the alarm clock by my side with the time saying it was 5 am in the morning.

I lay back down on my bed to rest again , than soon I woke up and got ready for the day like any other day. My parents were downstairs minding their own business as usual.

I haven't told them about the store I visited yesterday , yet I saw a donut box on the counter top , it was the logo from the store.

"Good morning dear , there's breakfast for you in the microwave also I decided to get some donuts from this new store in town" mother said smiling unaware about the store.

"Thanks mother" I only said as if I play it off , I walk in the kitchen and notice the box , all colorful and beautiful designs on just a simple box.

Once the afternoon came around , my friends came over to hang out , we talk and laugh about things , than I mentioned about the store I went to.

They were all surprised yet didn't believe me when I talk about what  the store sells and makes.

So from that point , I decided to show them where it was , not far from where we live. Their faces light up with shock and amazed by the store.

We all enter the store , the male wasn't around just yet , my friends loom around amazed by the colorful candies or sweet cupcakes.

"Hey this is cool" my friend Jack grab a jar of the swirly lollipops in different colors. I had a strange feeling of being worried.

"Jack be careful with the jar" I spoke as Jack didn't listen as he accidentally tip little as in a slow motion yet quick the jar fell out of his hands and went onto the ground , creating a big echo little silent crash as the jar was completely broken along with the lollipops.

My eyes begin to open wide in shock and panic rush threw my body , Jack look shock as well as the others were silent in shock no words. I turn to see the man holding a tray of cookies and he didn't look amused , just silent in shock as well.

I can by his expression he wasn't happy yet hide it with a one up guess he was upset at Jack's mistake.

Soon after that we left the store , after a day I haven't heard from Jack lately , I thought he was probably sick or maybe his parents found out about the jar accident.

But the news reported a missing boy named...Jack?!. Jack went missing? I couldn't believe it. It was Jack for sure I know the face from the picture on the news and detail about him.

I decided to ask people if they seen him ,yet no one didn't I begin to feel sad about my missing friend.

I went to the store again , feeling down as the man notice.

"Hey what's wrong there?" The male ask me as I told him "my friend went missing I hope nothing happen to him"

The male look at me as he pat my head.

"There...There Elizabeth my dear...I'm sure Jack will show up soon" the male said as my eyes widen. I never told him my name at all , not even once I meet him.

"H-how do you know my name?" I spoke beginning to feel scared and panic rush threw as the male simply smile.

"You told me before Elizabeth" the man smile little off to me as I slowly move away towards the door.

The male was confused by my action , as he slowly walk to me. "Hey Elizabeth what's wrong?" The male spoke as I told him to stay away from me , rushing out the door as the male eyes widen in shock and sadness. The male look broken as he just stand there silent.

I ran far away going back home , my parents were out at the moment. As the day goes by Michael and Mary came over as they brought over their sleeping bags and backpack of snacks.

We were all in my room talking awhile drawing at the moment , all I can think about was Jack and the man who knew something.

It was still a mystery to me about this man who seem to knew about Jack than my name. I just brush it off as if he was kidding around.

Soon it was dark out , I felt tired as I drift off to sleep. It happen...it was faded but soon clear.

The white door appear again , I walk towards it this time , it open as inside was dark with a crazy laughter yet it was more of an amusing laughter. The person seem to join something they're doing....

I walk in as nothing appear yet , however there was a strong hot chocolate like smell?. I guess I was dreaming of a kitchen or someone making with chocolate.

There was a bright light , I follow the light as I step my foot in the room. The room was a horror show , there was a strong smell of rotten blood mix with the chocolate coving the smell as it can.

My heart race with any second to blast out my chest , my eyes widen in fear , shock disbelieving this was all real!. I look around to see nothing but those chef kitchens from TV shows , along with few blood splats around the room.

There was literally unfinished or old looking cakes , cookies , cupcakes. Some which had blood color frosting like on the white frosting. I couldn't believe my eyes it was like a horror movie!.

Than the man from the sweet store enter the room , this time he had a black collar shirt on with a bloody yet it had a rotten smell pants. The man also had some gloves on , the gloves were cover in blood , few piece of hair that looks like it stick to the gloves.

The man's face had blood splats on the right side of his cheek , he made a twisting grin as he look to see me.

"What is this?! , who the hell are you?!" I shake in fear and disbelief. The man just smile in a twisting way.

"I'm Remy , I make the sweets and treats you see before you and me , I like to mix a special ingredient with my sweets and pastries....my world is yet incomplete" Remy's voice was in a singing tone as he find the room as his imagination world. 

Remy spin around in a joyful matter , he smile in an twisted glee. Than Remy look at me again once more.

"Come join me , my friend don't you see we'll be happy forever , singing , dancing around in our imagination world. I wouldn't let anyone hurt us"

Remy's singing tone came out more as he spoke but I snap and shout "no...no I don't want this! You're a psychopath...I don't want to do nothing with you!..you kill my friend!"

Remy eyes widen , as if he was so broken up by my words than he growl in anger as he had his blood cane. But it wasn't an cane at all , he pull the top as it show a blood red liquid stain sword. My eyes widen in fear as Remy only smile insane!.

Remy spoke "if you won't join me , than I guess I'll make a candy out of your insides" than suddenly Remy rush towards me and raise his sword , only a flash of light's appear in my eyes.

I begin to woke up little yet slowly , as I heard an echo forming into a clear voice.

"Elizabeth... Elizabeth?" The voice was a doctor who look at me in a quiet facial expression on his face.

My parents went to me rushing over , hug me tight to the point they wouldn't let go. I panic as I push them away from me , I begin to speak "where am I?! , where's Jack?! There's Remy!"

The doctor and my parents look at me confused as if they didn't know what I was talking about.

My mother told me Jack was ok , he was doing his normal everyday things , my mother also told me I been in the hospital for almost a week from an accident that i  didn't even remember , the final thing she told me that the Mr. Remy's sweet town been closed down from health reasons years ago.

I just lay back in my hospital thinking "was it all a dream?". My father enter with a gift box?. There was no name tag on the box.

He smiled as he was happy to see my awake as he move his arms and gave me the wrapped up box. I thought it was from my parents as i begin to slowly sit up and start to unwrap the box , once I lift up the box top.

It was unspoken in disbelief from what I saw in the box. There was a beautiful wrapped up bag of candies and next to it was a small medium size cupcake. Under the colorful beautiful design bag it read....

"Feel better soon , my sweet..." And the name under it was

- MR. Remy's sweet town....
