To Remove a Bullet | Liam de Lioncourt x Zombie!Reader
Today had been seriously painful, and you knew that it would only get worse. First thing this morning you fell down the stairs after the stitches in your leg came undone, then you were chased by a hunter and got a bullet in the back of your shoulder during lunch. So now, instead of wasting your time in class, where you could learn so much useful information, you were sitting in the bathrooms.
You were clad in only your pants (and bra), attempting to remove the bullet that was lodged in your shoulder blade. A pair of large tweezers was gripped in your hand, your back facing the bathroom mirror and your arm was twisted inhumanly in an attempt to reach the practically impossible spot.
You jump and drop the tweezers into the sink when a loud screech of surprise is heard. You turn your head to see Liam standing in the entrance of the bathrooms, his face covered in a deep blush. You chuckle when you see the look on his face before fishing the tweezers from the sink. If it had been anyone else, you probably would have screamed and hid in a bathroom stall. But since you had been in a relationship with the hipster for quite a while, you had just shrugged it off.
"You do know it's inappropriate to be shirtless in the school bathroom." You hear a snide comment from the vampire.
"Thanks for that notice," you roll your eyes, "but I'd rather get in trouble for public indecency than be stuck with a bullet in my back for the rest of the day."
"Wait, a bullet?" Liam questions.
"Yep," you sigh, "right in the shoulder."
You point at the hole in your back, which had very little blood coming out of it, since you were y'know, undead. You see Liam slightly wince at the sight of the injury. You both sort of stay there in silence before you get an idea.
"Hey Liam," you grin, "Could you do me a solid and remove this bullet for me?"
Liam manages to sputter out some words before he nods stiffly.
"Sweet!" you exclaim as you jump off of the counter you had been sitting on and gesture Liam over.
He walks over and once he gets close enough you hand him the tweezers. You turn away from him. You hiss lightly when you feel the tweezers push into the bullet wound. The hiss wasn't really from the pain, but did feel uncomfortable and weird.
"So how did you manage to get shot?" Liam asks.
"Oh, a hunter found me during lunch," you say, you go to shrug, but remember that someone was digging into the flesh of your shoulder and decide against it, "as I was making my escape she got me."
"Well, I suggest you learn how to get away better." Liam tells you.
You laugh in response, your shoulders shaking slightly. You feel one of Liam's hands stop you shoulder from moving, that makes you stop laughing.
"Well, I guess you have a fair suggestion there." You respond.
You let out a sigh of relief when you feel the tweezers pull out the bullet. You turn around just in time to see Liam drop the bullet into the bin.
"Thank you," you smile as you take the tweezers from Liam, "I'd have been here all night otherwise."
"Of course," Liam replies, "which would be a shame since you said you'd show me some underground club that even I didn't know about."
"Oh yeah!" you grin, perking up.
You shove the tweezers into your pocket and took a step closer towards Liam. Your grin doesn't disappear as you lean so your faces are only a few centimetres away.
"What if I said the club was at my place," you continue as you lean closer, you could see Liam's face begin to light up in a blush, "in my room, on my bed."
By now your noses were brushing, your lips almost pressing against his. Liam doesn't speak for a moment, shocked from your actions.
"I guess I wouldn't mind that." Liam manages to stutter.
"Just kidding~!" you giggle, pulling away.
You swear you can hear Liam groan quietly. You take a hold of his hand and press a kiss to his cheek.
"Let's go," you smile as you tug him along, "I need to get changed before we go."
