“And the MVP player award goes to: Aomine Daiki!” claps and cheers were heard during the awarding’s. Aomine walked in front to get his award and showed his medal to his team. They cheered as he returned to Tsukiko’s side who gave him a hug. “Congratulations!” she smiled at him and gave him a kiss on the cheek.

He blushed touching his cheek. “Thanks” the awards continued and they took pictures of the whole Japan team. “Good job” Jeremy high fived each of the players of the team. “I look forward in playing with you again”

“Sure” Kagami smirked at him. After the ceremony, they went back to the training camp to rest and go back to their school the day after. Tsukiko collapsed on her bed as Emiko rested on her bed too. She easily fell asleep because of exhaustion as Emiko stared down at her. ‘Tsukiko-san’s zone easily drained her that fast…’ she thought.

NEXT DAY.

“Tsuneko wake up already!” someone screamed trying to wake the brunette up but failed. Tsukiko just grumbled and covered herself more with the covers and lied with her back face at Momoi who was waking her up. “Man! You’re like Aomine-kun! So hard to wake up!”

“Why are you waking her up? She’s exhausted from the game yesterday…” Emiko appeared behind Momoi.

“Eh, Emiko-chan you’re here?!” Momoi jumped from her spot glancing at the younger Kuroko.

“Momoi-senpai, I suggest you let Tsukiko-san to rest, she’s really cranky when she doesn’t get enough rest” Emiko suggested pulling Momoi out of their room.

“But Emiko-chan! It’s already noon time and all of our players are asleep!” Momoi reasoned.

“They’re just tired from the game yesterday” Emiko replied.

“But the other players who didn’t play are still asleep too!”

“Momoi-senpai”

“Hmph” Momoi pouted and looked down at her hands. “And I was planning in asking them out to a hot spring…”

“HOT SPRING?!” Tsukiko sat up after hearing what Momoi had said. She was fully awake and her eyes were open wide. She was smiling. “Momoi, we’re going to a hot spring?!” she got out from bed and took Momoi’s hands in hers.

“U-Um, I bought tickets for everyone with the extra funds left…” Momoi replied stepping back. This made Tsukiko shriek and hug her. “Yay! I love you Momoi!” she cheered crushing Momoi in her arms then a cramp attacked. “OW!”

“Tsuneko, are you okay?” Momoi asked worriedly after Tsukiko pulled away and massaged her cramping muscle. “My body still hurts from yesterday…”

“Don’t worry, Tsuneko, after going to the hot springs, your body with be at full shape tomorrow!” Momoi assured with a smile as Tsukiko’s face brightened. “You’re the best!” she told the pink haired.

“But there’s one problem…” Emiko but in, rubbing her chin. “WHAT IS IT?!” Tsukiko looked annoyed and shouted. Emiko blinked. “You have to wake up all of your teammates in order for us to go there” with that Tsukiko stomped out of the room and barged in into her teammate’s dorm and yelled at them.

“WAKE THE HELL UP!”

After a few minutes of yelling, screaming, barging in dorms, Tsukiko had successfully woke up all of her teammates. But she had to ask help from Aya in order to wake up Akashi, because she was scared at the Rakuzan captain.

“Why did you wake us up early in the morning, Tsukikocchi?” Kise whined rubbing his eyes sleepily. They were all assembled at the dinner table, because they decided to eat branch before heading to the hot springs. “Urusai! It’s already noon time, Kise!” Tsukiko exclaimed.

“We’re going to the hot springs?” Aya confirmed and Tsukiko gave her a happy nod. “Oh…” she thought and smiled.

“A hot spring? Why do you want to go there instead of sleeping all day?” Aomine complained groggily, not pleased to be woken up even though it was noon time and he was still sleepy.

“Who wouldn’t want to go to a hot spring?” retorted Tsukiko. “Hot springs are awesome!”

“I believe hot springs are good for your aching body” Tetsuya spoke with a gentle tone as always. Everyone jumped on their seats when they saw Tetsuya just beside Kagami. “Since when--” Kagami didn’t finish his sentence and sighed. “Never mind”

“Anyway, eat breakfast in full speed! I want to go to the hot springs already!” Tsukiko demanded.

TIME SKIP.

“We’re here, we’re here, we’re here, and we’re here!” Tsukiko chanted dragging Aomine with her as they arrived at the hot spring. “Oi! Relax!” poor Aomine almost stumbled on the floor.

“Tsuneko’s really excited” Aya smiled as Akashi nodded in agreement beside her.

“What’s up with Tsukiko and hot springs anyway?” Kagami asked at the Kuroko siblings, surprisingly noticing them beside him. “Oh, well, being a province girl, Tsukiko-san often went to hot springs with her grandparents and Takuya-san” Emiko explained. “She really loved them and would always bathe every afternoon after playing with her friends at their small town”

“Oh—wait whose Takuya?” Kagami asked as Emiko and Tetsuya flinched. “You shouldn’t have mentioned him” Tetsuya whispered to her sister. “S-Sorry” she apologized. “Hey, what are you two whispering about over there?” Kagami interrupted their talk. “Nothing” Tetsuya pushed his face away popping a nerve on Kagami’s forehead.

“Why you--”

“Emiko! Let’s go and bathe!” Tsukiko came back and pulled her cousin with her. “Wait a minute Tsuneko! You don’t even have your ticket yet!” Momoi ran after her before leaving the boys’ tickets to Tetsuya. “W-Wait for us!” Aya ran after them with Riko.

“Should we go in?” Akashi suggested and walked in the baths to be joined by his Japan teammates.

“Ah, the warm water feels good” Momoi sunk herself in the hot water enjoying the pleasure it gave her. “How does your body feel, Tsuneko?” she glanced at the brunette who was enjoying it more than she expected. “I guess she really loves it…” she smiled and noticed Emiko staring at her with a dark aura surrounding her. “Emiko-chan?”

“Hm…” Emiko pouted her eyes shifting to Momoi’s chest as she looked down on hers. “Why can’t mine…?” she trailed off and the dark aura around her expanded leaving Momoi sweat dropping.

Momoi just rested her head on one of the rocks that stood out of the water and closed her eyes. ‘We’ve finally won the Internationals. And we’ll soon go back to our respective schools and lives. But that means Dai-chan and Tsuneko…’ Momoi opened her eyes and gazed at Tsukiko. “Tsuneko”

Tsukiko stopped from swimming and looked at her. “What is it?” she asked. Momoi stared at her for a while and pouted. “WHEN ARE YOU AND DAI-CHAN TAKING IT TO THE NEXT LEVEL!” she hollered at Tsukiko almost damaging her ears. While at the other side, Tsukiko’s response scream was heard making Aomine worry. “What’s going on over there?!” he glanced at the wall separating the girl’s and boys’ bathing area.

“Hm, probably Momoicchi and Ayacchi doing something to Tsukikocchi” Kise assumed with a shrug. “You think so?” Aomine said skeptically. Kise smiled sheepishly and wave his hand. “Don’t worry, Tsukikocchi wouldn’t die in the hot spring…” he stated matter-of-factly.

“S-Sure…” Aomine replied and dived in the water.

“You have some explaining to do!” The Daikiko fan trio stood in front of Tsukiko as she sunk in the water helplessly. “Help…” she muttered gulping. She sighed and stood up. “I guess it can’t be help”

“Yay!” they cheered and Tsukiko started to fill in the gaps making the three shriek, annoying her more. She just sighed and joined Emiko who was staring at her with a weird look. “Um, are you okay?” Tsukiko asked her. Emiko flinched feeling guilty that she had slipped in mentioning Takuya.

“Ano… Tsukiko-san…” Emiko started.

“Just spit it out” Tsukiko demanded. “I…”

“By the way Kuroko, who was that Takuya, Emiko mentioned?” Kagami remembered as Tetsuya stared at him with a serious look.

“He’s just… he’s--” replied the phantom catching Aomine’s attention too. “Takuya?” he raised an eyebrow suspiciously making Tetsuya flinch more. “Who the hell is that?” Kagami smirked sensing jealousy appear on Aomine’s tone.

“He seems to be a close friend of Tsukiko” the split eyebrow dude started. “They even went to the hot springs together when they were kids”

“Stop it Kagami-kun” Tetsuya glared at his friend.

“WHAT?!” Aomine shouted at the same time Tsukiko did at the other side. “You slipped in telling him about Takuya?!” she yelled at Emiko who flinched with a guilty expression. “I-I’m sorry…” she apologized quietly. Tsukiko felt nervous and sighed. “You sure only Kagami heard you?” she asked.

“H-Hai!” Emiko nodded. “Good…” Tsukiko said.

“Relax Aomine-kun; Kagami-kun’s just being stupid again” Tetsuya told Aomine. “Then who the hell is Takuya?” Aomine asked, leaning closer to Tetsuya. The phantom just pushed his face away drowning him in the water and stood up with a towel wrapped around his lower part. “Go ask Tsukiko yourself” he said and left.

“Huh… I think I’m going get out now” Tsukiko said standing up.

“Eh? Already?” Momoi wondered looking at her.

“Y-Yeah, I felt a bit dizzy all of a sudden” Tsukiko replied and left. Going to the changing rooms, she slipped herself in one of those kimonos that was placed in there for her then she proceeded in tying her hair but stop immediately. “Oh I forgot… Emiko already cut my hair…” she muttered feeling stupid and face palming herself. She exited the changing rooms and came across Tetsuya, who also was wearing a kimono, for men of course.

“Tsukiko” Tsukiko stopped after being called by his bluenette cousin. “Can we talk?” she looked at him with a questioning look and had a nervous feeling that the topic she wanted to avoid was the topic Tetsuya wanted to talk about.

“Okay” was her answer even though she wasn’t sure of it. The two walked out of the inn they were staying and sat on one of the outdoor benches built just outside the inn. “What did you want to talk about?” she asked breaking the silence between them.

“Takuya…” The name made Tsukiko flinch. “I want to know if you’re planning to tell Aomine-kun about him”

“Please… not now…” she held her head. “Emiko just told me that she accidentally told Kagami about it… I don’t want to think, I’m tired…”

“Well then, if you don’t think about telling Aomine-kun about him there’d be more problems” Tetsuya says looking at her. She gave him a questioning look so he assumed that she was as slow as Kagami and just told her. “Kagami-kun had mentioned it to Aomine-kun and made a joke out of it making him suspicious”

“What?! Oh god…” Tsukiko buried her face in her hands and started to sulk. “Knowing Kagami, he must’ve said something stupid” “He did” “Bakagami” “Indeed” “Screw him” “He’s got a screw loose” “What do I do now?” “That’s what I’m asking you right now” “Do you think that’ll help?” “I’m helping you in sorting this out”

“Thanks for that” Tsukiko said in a sarcastic tone and looked at Tetsuya with a sour expression. “Gah he doesn’t need to know, does he?”

“Of course he has to know, Takuya’s your brother after all” Tetsuya replied. “Step” Tsukiko corrected but Tetsuya just frowned. “Either way, they’ll eventually have to meet”

“But they can’t meet! Their personalities are the exact opposite!” Tsukiko whined. “Plus, if Takuya meets him he’ll… they’ll… gah! CHAOS!”

Tetsuya just sighed. “Look just relax, and don’t worry about it. If Aomine-kun asks you about him then just answer, you don’t need to explain on what happened to him”

“Sure…” Tsukiko picked up herself. “That’s a great plan, thanks Tetsuya” she finally smiled and ruffled his hair.

“Please stop doing that” Tetsuya requested a bit annoyed. “Sorry, Murasakibara just infected me with that habit of his” Tsukiko laughed. “Whatever” The phantom replied bitterly.
