18: Lost in Korea

Tsukiko's POV

So the passed weeks have been, training, training, challenged by Aomine, training, get annoyed by Aomine, training, suffering, then add Kagami in the annoying list, training, and Aya still calling me TSUNEKO. So our first ever match is against the country Korea.

All of us are pumped up about it. The coaches decided that half of the team of the first string and second string would play against them. Unfortunately, they didn't want me to play this early because they treat me like a 'secret weapon' or some sort. I don't know! Who gives a damn?!

When we arrived in Korea a day before the match, Aya asked me and AOMINE--yes HIM to buy some supplies for the new training she thought. For some reason she always wants us together. Yeah, me and Ahomine. I don't get her. I will never get her. And both of us are currently walking around South Korea with a very USEFUL map that Aya has given us. And what I mean useful is we're freaking lost right now.

Aomine was holding the map flipping it over and over irritating me. Seriously?! He doesn't know how to read maps?! I groaned and grabbed the map from him muttering curses under my breath. I looked at the map and realized--

"AHOMINE! This is the map of Tokyo!! I asked you to get the map of Seoul!" I hollered at him.

"Eh?! I thought it was Seoul's!" he protested looking over the map. "They had the same writing!" he reasoned. Stupid little--

"Damn it!" I cursed and stepped on the map continously.

"OI! What are you doing?!"

"This map is useless!!" I yelled at him. People started to look at us as we continued to yell at each other. Hey it's not my fault that Aomine's stupid! No one is to blame for his stupidity rather than him! We're lost because of him!

...

A few meters away... behind a pole...

Meanwhile two girls watched the two players from afar as they yelled at each other gathering people's attention. They were wearing disguises; with brown hats and a mustache that didn't really suit them because they were girls. "Eh? Why are they fighting?" one of them wondered, lifting her sunglasses up.

"Tsuneko's stepping on her map," the other one commented.

"Let's just continue following them."

"Hai!"

...

"THIS IS YOUR FAULT!" I blamed Aomine pointing at him as I stomped my foot, walking away from him. This is frustrating! I sighed and sat on the bench nearby and he joined me afterwards sighing too.

"Sorry about that," he apologized scratching the back of his head. I sighed again. "Just forget about it.." I wave it off then looked up. What do we do now?! "Oh!" Aomine snapped pointing a finger up as if an imaginary light bulb popped out above his head. "I know!" he smiled at me.

"What?" I asked tilting my head to the side. He grinned at me and took his cellphone out. "We can call Tetsu for help!" he suggested as a smile grew on my face. He called Tetsuya and put him on loud speaker after hearing my cousin's voice. "TETSUUUUUUU~~~!" I called him hoping he'd help us. "We need help! We're lost in the city and Ahomine forgot to bring the map of Seoul!" I said through the phone and heard a short pause.

..

..

..

"Gomen, Tsukiko, I don't know my way around Seoul either, it's my first time here" by now, both mine and Aomine's face met the floor and hopelessly cried. "Okay... thanks for nothing..." we ended up the call and stared at the ground. "Gahh!!! I hate this!" I ruffled my hair groaning in frustration. Aomine just sighed beside me, his head down, and my face buried in my hands. What did I do to deserve this?! This is all Aomine's fault!!! If he didn't took that Tokyo map then we wouldn't end up like this! I raised my head and was about to yell at Aomine again when--"OI TSUKIKO I'VE GOT IT!!!!" I noticed his face just a few inches to mine and or more worse--our LIPS almost touched. WTF!!! I don't know what I'm doing but my face isn't moving away from him. What the heck Tsukiko?! Move! He widened his eyes and was the first one to look away.

"G-Gomen" he stuttered a blush creeping on his cheeks.

"I-It's okay..." I replied finding my shoes amusing. "So uh... what do you got?" I asked breaking the silence, turning my head to him.

"O-Oh, w-w-w-well" he shakily pointed his hand towards a sign as my head glanced at the directions and saw a directory. I narrowed my eyes and approached that directory with Aomine behind me as I scanned it.

"EH?! It's written in english!!!" Aomine complained rubbing his head. "How are we supposed to read this?!?!?!--" I clamped his mouth, shutting him up because he was too noisy. I can't concentrate. He finally silenced but my hand still remained on his mouth. "ASFAGASFDSAFAS" I couldn't understand him.

"Shh!" I shushed him while reading the directory as I removed my hand.

"W-What are you doing? It's english"

"Don't worry, I can read it" I assured him and pointed to the store where Aya asked us to buy the supplies. "Here's the store, then pointed at a route, and we can ride a taxi cab here back to the camp" I said and looked over to Aomine. "Let's go" He was staring at me but shook his head when I looked at him. "S-Sure" he replied as we started to walk.

Silence occured between us as we made our way to the store. He didn't say a word and just followed my lead. Good thing Taku--a guy taught me how to read english, if not, we're screwed. And as if on cue when I remembered that guy, Aomine asked me how I learned to read. "Oi Tsukiko, how did you learn to read english?" I stiffened a bit and my eyes softened remembering a certain memory. "OI! TSUKAIJU!" I snapped out of my thoughts and looked over at him with a sweat at my cheek. "Gomen, Aomine, I was just thinking..." I trailed off.

Third person's POV

"Gomen Aomine, I was just thinking..." Tsukiko trailed off as Aomine looked at her suspiciously. "What about?" he raised an eyebrow as she flinched. "N-Nothing! Anyway, I learned to read because Ta--someone taught me..." she reasoned looking down at the road. Aomine wondered why didn't she mention the name she was about to say. He was about to speak when a traffic police scolded them in korean language.

"ibwa! dangsin-i chungdol doeji anhdologhalyeomyeon jeoli bikyeo!" (hey! get outta the way if you don't want to be hit!) the traffic police told them which they didn't understand. Aomine pulled Tsukiko's waist and ran towards the end of the street where cars passed by while they were continously yelled at.

"G-Gomen!" Tsukiko apologized even though she wasn't heard. "Forget about him, let's go" Aomine grabbed her wrist as they ran inside the store. It was already raining a bit at that time so Aomine took off his jacket and hovered it on top of both of them. "Arigatou, Aomine" Tsukiko smiled at him as he blushed and looked away. "No problem" he gushed as Tsukiko walked ahead and started to take the gear they needed for the training.

"Kyaaaa! It's raining!!!T3T" Aya whined putting a coat over her, as she and Satsuki ran over a public bus stop where there was shelter. "This sucks!" she stomped her foot. "We lost Dai-chan and Tsu-nyan!" Satsuki added worriedly. Aya sighed and sat on the bench provided and looked at the map of Seoul that Tsukiko and Aomine needed more. "Let's just go home..." she decided and stared at the map. Her phone suddenly rang as she answered it receiving an angry voice that belonged to Akashi. "WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU?"

Tsukiko and Aomine walked out the shop as they carried the items they bought. "Good thing that shop keeper understands japanese!" Tsukiko chirped smiling at Aomine. "Yeah, we would've been screwed if he didn't" he smiled back making her laugh. Aomine looked at her adoring the laugh he just heard. "You're cute when you laugh" he told her. "I do?" she titled her head as Aomine blushed. "W-Well yeah, and you know--" he stuttered as Tsukiko chuckled again. "Don't worry Aomine, I get that alot, thanks for the compliment" she patted his back as he relaxed. "Whatever..." he trailed off.

BACK AT THE TRAINING CAMP.

"Where the heck did you two go?!?!?!" a voice yelled as Tsukiko and Aomine entered the gym where they trained and saw Aida slapped Aya and Satsuki's heads with a paper fan. Little tears escaped at the tip of their eyes as they held the area where they were hit at. "What's going on?" Tsukiko asked walking closer to them as Aya glanced at them and hugged Tsukiko dropping the supplies they bought. "Tsu-nyan! Coach's behing mean to me!!!!!~" she cried, her arms around Tsukiko's waist. Aida's eyes widened as she heard Aya still calling her coach. 'Aya-kun...'

"What's going on?" Aomine quizzed butting on, as he picked up the item that's been dropped. "Dai-chan!!!" Satsuki approached Aomine. "Satsuki?" he raised an eyebrow. "Satsuki, Aya" they heard Akashi's voice as they glanced over to the emperor, who was eyeing them evilly. Aya and Satsuki looked at him scared and Aya hid her face behind Tsukiko's. "For your punishment, both of you will wash the dishes" he stated without anyone objecting. "Punishment for what?" Aomine asked as Akashi glanced at him. "For stalking" he answered simply and walked away.

"Stalking?" both of the monster players wondered. "And why the hell are you two late?! What took you so long?!" Aida scolded Tsukiko and Aomine. "G-Gomen, Aida-senpai, me and Aomine got lost here..." Tsukiko reasoned. "Yeah we got lost here in Korea" Aomine added. Aida just sighed and let them be. "Fine, just get ready for the support tomorrow" she said and walked away.

"Oh right, tomorrow's the day..."
