Context: this is a sort of combination of Don't Look Behind You, Endermen Can't Do That, and Newly Turned Creature. It's at the beginning of season 9 when Cleo is a gorgon.

“HEY! THATSH MY HORSE!”

Tango cackled and began to ride away, only glancing back to stick his tongue out at Bdubs.

Then he went paler than Bdubs had ever seen him.

“Bdubs,” he whispered. “Don't look behind you.”

Bdubs figured it was another prank. Tango's gaze was fixated on something behind Bdubs. He was very pale. Almost grey.

Bdubs started to turn around. At worst, it was an enderman. He'd killed endermen before. What was Tango so scared of?

“Don't!” Tango yelled, and dove off the horse, tackling Bdubs. Bdubs yelled a bad word, followed by, “WHAT WAS THAT FOR, SHTUPID?”

Tango didn't answer. His skin was cold, rough, like…

Like stone.

Endermen couldn't do that.

“Not again!” A voice cried. “Bdubs- don't look at me- I didn't mean to turn into this, all i did was change my skin and then suddenly-”

A clawed, scaly hand pulled the Tango statue away from Bdubs and grabbed his arm to help him up. Bdubs screamed like a little girl and yanked away, then got up and ran with his eyes squeezed shut. “No. No, no, no, what has it- he glanced back by chance. He couldn't just leave Tango with that monster, he couldn't-

“Wait, let me explain!”

His eyes met a pair of yellow ones, strange but familiar.

He realized his mistake too late.

As stone closed over Bdubs’ terrified face, Cleo sank to her knees and cried.
