Chapter 12

I didn't bother knocking as I walked into the room and closed it behind me. The shower water was no longer running so I Walked up to the closet and just opened it. Jen was snuggled in the corner with some coats lying overtop of her.

She pushed herself farther into the corner with her eyes more tightly shut, until I coughed and her head moved up to mine, and her eyes opened too.

Now she looked angry. "Why didn't you knock? I got your note, but that didn't help with the shock you just gave me. I was about to piss myself." I knew she wanted to yell, but it just wasn't possible in this room, even if it was sound proof. I doubt either one of us would risk finding out.

"Trent called someone over to help him find you. We should really start trying to find a plan to get you out. It is getting much riskier the more you stay in here. And I know you want to get out of here." Looking around I wondered how she could be occupied in a room that had nothing to do, it was so boring.

"I just need to wait for the right time. If you can just kill Trent then it would be a lot easier for me." She said it without emotion and walked around me, heading for the bed.

Her words were a stab to my heart. I took a knife from the kitchen once and hid it in my pocket as Trent and I were about to go to bed. My plans went all down the drain when he got into the bedroom and cuddled up on the ground beside my bed, I just couldn't do it. So I told him I left something downstairs, so I could return the knife to its place back in the drawer.

I am a coward.

"I'm still working on it," Was my brief answer.

My heart sunk at the next words she spoke. "At least, you are still trying to do it."

I nodded my head, not wanting to respond.

Hearing a noise come from outside I turned my head towards the direction, as did Jen.

We both were not fast enough to react as the window shattered. The curtains letting in a soft breeze from outside as two silhouettes came through it wearing all black. One of them turned to the curtain as the other took oh his hood.

Revealing the man moments ago that Trent opened the door for.

"I told you that if you just were outside more during the day we could listen into everyone's windows and see if the girl was in here, and that girl." He pointed to me. "Looked suspicious the way she was standing at the top of the stairs looking at us in a strange way. She is also a human. So what is she doing here?"

The second silhouette finally turned around and took off his hood. I knew before it was fully taken off that it was Trent. "She is my beloved."

"You have not changed her yet?" The man asked looking at me and back to Trent.

"That is personal, and something that I don't want to discuss right now," Trent said, while brushing himself off of some dirt that was on his pants. "The main focus here is Jen." He looked at her as she just starred daggers back at him. While a gasp was heard beside Trent making us all look at the man whose eyes were slowly turning red.

"Mine." That wasn't good. "Has she truly done something so bad, it could have been just rumurs?" The guy yelled with his teeth together speaking through them as his eyes were now fully red.

"I know it's not, and now that we found her she needs to be locked back up, or killed for her actions." Trent told him, calmly.

"That won't be necessary." Jen spoke. Seeing the action before it happened I tried to reach for her or tell her not to, but it was too late.

She grabbed a shard of glass that was near her foot from the window breaking and shoved it straight into her heart without any hesitation.

I never thought that she was telling the truth when she said she would kill herself if she found her beloved, but as her body slumped down onto the bed, where she was previously sitting, I knew she wasn't lying.

"Get out Now!" The man screamed making me hurry to the door trying to look back and see what he was going to do, or if he was just going to scream more for his loss, but arms picked me up too fast that when my head finally was fully turned to look behind me, I was staring at a closed door.

"Why didn't you tell me you knew where she was!" Now Trent was the one yelling at me.

"Why would I tell you! You wanted to kill her!" My voice at least didn't sound as hurt as I felt, but my eyes were the complete opposite. Letting tears fall freely, not holding anything back.

"She deserves to die."

I wanted to so badly tell him that Jen said almost that same exact thing about him, and how they both were like the same person, except she was like the human, girl version, of him. How they both had a mutual hate for each other. That if she was still alive...I bit my lip, not saying anything. She isn't dead for sure, maybe there was some way her heart would still be beating.

Trent reached out to me in my moments of thought and brushed away my tears with the pad of his thumb, resulting in a slap of his hands.

I don't want him touching me.

He always had a sad look on his face when I cried, but the thing of it was that he was the one that most of the time caused it. I was coming to the point where it would become nearly impossible for me to smile around him, and that thought might have sadden me more then it did him.

I liked to smile.

The bedroom door was opened and then slammed behind the broad man, who just decided to enter the hallway. "She is gone!" The man had a tough look about him that showed not to mess with him, but deep down he looked broken. "It is your entire fault!" He was screaming at Trent, and ended up grabbing him around the throat and slamming him onto the wall that was next to the door.

I mentally wanted to scream at myself for wanting to go help him, but even with the man's hand gripping tightly around his throat he looked completely fine. I don't even think vampires had to breathe since they were just dead people walking.

"This isn't my fault." Without any effort Trent took the man's hands and took them away from around his neck and pushed his hands out in front of him. The strength of the push sending the man airborne until he hit the other wall.

"It is your fault; she wouldn't have left me with my heart feeling like it was tarred out if it wasn't for you wanting to kill her!" He got right off of the ground, making me see the huge boulder it left. He didn't move anywhere closer to Trent, but took a step closer to me.

"How would you feel if I just took your beloved away from you! He pulled a knife out of his pocket, making me cringe away. Trent was in front of me when I turned back around.

"You are not going to hurt her." He stated.

"Maybe not now, but I will." I got to peek under Trent's arm for a brief second to be able to see the giant smirk that was now growing on the man's lips, before getting pushed further behind Trent's back.

I heard footsteps coming closer in my direction, but wasn't worried for the muscled back that was in front of my view.

The footsteps moved more towards the door then my direction as I heard a door slam open and closed. I sighed that the man had finally left, but panic took over as I ran into the room that the man just ran into, looking frantically for one person that was no longer there. The only indication that there was once a body in here was a red substance that was left on the bed sheets. He took her.

For the second time today I cried.

Arms were around my waste holding me to a chest that I didn't want to be leaning on, but trying to pull their arms off of me was like trying to break a pencil without bending it, instead just pulling it in opposite directions.

"Get off of me." I said.

I was shocked that he actually listened and stepped back.

"I don't like that you lied to me and that you kept this girl a secret from me, but now that the girl is gone I don't need to worry about her anymore. You are my main priority." He grabbed my hands softly, which made me freeze.

He didn't feel an ounce of sadness for the girl that just died in his house.

He continued to talk, "Finn's visit today might have not been the best, and he might be wrong about a lot of things, but he was right about something." As if in slow motion his fangs started to drop from his gums, and his eyes were no longer black.

Personally I think I'm crazy for just posting this chapter after Nanowrimo, but I felt so inspired by all my fans on here that I wanted to write it, and I have had this idea for a while now. (Not from the very beginning, but close.)

Some people might be wondering how I did for Nanowrimo and I am proud to say that I won Nanowrimo with the word could of 50,600 words! Which to me is insane! And I forgot to do an outline and everything! So there is going to probably be a lot I will get rid of, and some I will keep, but just for me to write that much in a month is beyond me. (I'm sorry to say I will not be posting the story on Wattpad.)

So that was also why there was no updates. Well because of Nanowrimo, Thanksgiving, and my birthday that was Monday (December 1st.)

Hopefully there will be more updates, I'm hoping once a week, and to start building my chapter length back up.

Love you all! <3
