The group arrived at the lake in a snowcat, within, Amanda was driving with Diego in the passenger seat and Hugo in the back, the entire group was wearing heavy snow gear.

Diego was tuning the flamethrowers in the passenger seat.

Amanda: Alright, recap before we get out; we blow the monster out of the water using the mines Marcus and his men set up in the lake, then we use the flamethrowers to push it onto the road leading to the village so that the capture team can throw an electric net on it.

Diego: Side note; these flamethrowers may explode.

Hugo: May!?

Diego: Don't worry bro, since you got like no combat training, we got you driving this snowcat after the monster. You know how to drive it right?

Hugo: The same as a regular car I would imagine.

Diego: Bingo, here's your flamethrower.

Diego threw the heavy weapon onto Hugo's lap, who was understandably nervous to touch it.

Amanda: Alright, let's go Diego, we're in point.

Diego: You got it Amanda!

The two set off onto the frozen lake, leaving Hugo to climb out of the backseat and into the driver's seat.

Amanda and Diego stopped in the middle of the lake.

Amanda pulled out a small tablet.

Amanda: Okay, the mines are set with motion sensors, so if it comes near any of them, this tablet will tell us.

Diego: Let's hope they work.

The two lighted their flamethrowers and took small steps further onto the frozen lake.

Suddenly, the tablet let out a loud ringing.

Amanda: It's here...to the left!

They both turned left, and after a moment of silence, a loud explosion rang out with water erupting from the lake.

Amanda: It's moving to the right!

The two quickly turned right where another explosion met them.

Hugo watched as the explosions rang out from the snowcat.

Hugo: How are the mines not working?

The explosions stopped.

Amanda: It's triggered all of the mines, I can't get a read on where it is.

Diego: I can! Turn around!

Amanda quickly turned around, and saw a large fin advancing in them quickly.

Amanda: Light it up!

The two fires their flamethrowers, which struck the fin and sent it back into the lake.

Diego: That was anticlimactic.

Suddenly, the creature burst forth from the lake, and let out a loud roar.

The two instinctively fired their flamethrowers at the monster, which ran off onto land.

Amanda: Back to the snowcat!

The two hurried to the snowcat, where Hugo was waiting.

Hugo: What did it look like? How big was it?

Diego: Now's not the time, drive!

Hugo started the snowcat and gave chase to the monster, which was running to the road where the trap was set.

Hugo: It's huge!

Diego: Yeah! And that's not slowing it down either!

Amanda: It's running directly into the trap! We need to stay on it so that it doesn't divert!

Hugo stomped on the gas petal and the snowcat drove quickly on to the monster.

Diego opened his side door and leaned out the snowcat with his flamethrower.

Diego: Eat fire you jaws wannabe!

Diego let loose fire on the monster, and it roared in rage.

Hugo: I may have to call you Prometheus, Diego!

Diego got back into the snowcat, and closed his door.

Diego: What? Why?

Hugo: BECAUSE YOU HAVE TAMED FIRE!!!

The monster ran onto the road and towards the trap.

Amanda: There's no where for it to run! Hold back Hugo!

Hugo hit the brakes, and the snowcat came to a sudden halt.

The monster ran forward, and the capture team threw the electric net over it.

The monster struggled, and let out a loud roar, then fell to the ground unconscious.

The group arrived in the snowcat, and saw the monster unconscious.

Hugo was the first to exit the vehicle.

Hugo: Look at it! A completely new organism! I have to take notes now!

Hugo tried to run forward, but was stopped by Amanda who grabbed the back of his jacket.

Amanda: Hold up Hugo, at least let the capture team put it on the Apocalypse first.

Hugo let out a sigh.

Hugo: Very well.

Diego: This is awesome! A full force monster! We are gonna be legendary!

Diego cheered on as Amanda and Hugo watched the creature get loaded up onto a truck.
