Amanda and Marcus were overseeing an interview held by Hugo with the two, mysterious characters.

Amanda: They say that they arrived here a few days ago with a group of monsters, and that they are 'hunters'.

Marcus: hunters? Interesting...

Hugo was calmly asking the two various questions.

Hugo: So you are...'hunters'

Man: Yeah, we hunt monsters like that one.

Hugo: And you are paid in this profession?

Man: In Zenny.

Hugo: Zenny? Is that a type of currency?

Woman: Yes, we get paid in that along with materials we harvest from the monsters, which we use for weapons and armor.

The woman pointed at her bow which was behind Hugo along with the man's hammer.

Woman: My bow is made from solid Deviljho bone, and is reinforced with it's hide.

Hugo: A...Deviljho? What is that?

Woman: It's better if you never meet one.

Hugo: Back to you two, are you currently under the employ of a person or group?

Man: Yeah, the Wycademy.

Hugo: What is this 'Wycademy'?

Man: It's a bunch of smart people that study the monsters of our world.

Hugo: So they are researchers?

Man: Yeah, and they hired us to investigate something they called 'Disturbances'.

Hugo: Interesting, tell me more about these 'Disturbances'.

Woman: We know roughly as much as you do. The Wycademy said that it was an anomaly marked by blue lightning, and was responsible for the disappearances of several monsters. They first began in the New World and quickly began to appear in the Old World.

Hugo: New World? Old World?

Woman: The New World is a continent that we just began to explore some time ago, the mainland has been called the Old World since we began exploring the New World.

Hugo: Okay...and how did you get here?

Man: We followed a herd of monsters through a Disturbance, and it led us here, wherever 'here' is.

Hugo: 'Here' is the United States of America, one of several countries on this planet.

Man: Never heard of it.

Woman: We are wasting time here. While you have us locked up, a whole army of monsters are rampaging through your world.

Hugo: We know, and we are trying in the best of our abilities to hunt them down and capture them. We have a few in the storage bay.

Man: We saw them on our way in, your lucky to be alive after hunting an Anjanath.

Hugo: These creatures have names...fascinating.

Amanda and Marcus were watching from the other side of the two way glass when a soldier entered the room and handed a report to Marcus.

Marcus read the report.

Amanda: What does it say?

Marcus: It's from the coast guard, they say that some kind of 'Leviathan' has attacked several fishing ships and is on it's way to the California Coast.

Amanda: At least we're already here to meet it, get me an accurate location on where it will come ashore.

Amanda spoke through the intercom.

Amanda: Hugo, we got another one. It's some kind of sea monster that's en route to the California Coast. The coast guard has described it as a 'Leviathan'.

Woman: Sounds like a Lagiacrus.

Hugo: A Lagiacrus?

Woman: Yes, the most dangerous monster in the sea. If you want any hope of capturing it, you need our help.

Amanda: Not happening, we don't know enough about you two.

Marcus spoke along with Amanda on the intercom.

Marcus: We got the monster's estimated location; Venice Beach

Hugo sat back in his chair, rubbing his eyes worriedly.

Man: Is Venice Beach a village?

Hugo: It's a beach along a city called Los Angeles, it has thousands of visitors a day.

The woman stood up out of her chair and faced Amanda through the two way glass.

Woman: If that many people are on that beach, then the Lagiacrus will leave countless injured. You NEED our help.

Hugo stood up as well.

Hugo: Amanda, I understand your caution, but these two know these creatures better than any of us. And with the risk of collateral damage, we do indeed need them.

Amanda went silent and looked at Marcus.

Amanda got back on the intercom.

Amanda: You stay with my team, if you try anything suspicious we end you.

Man: Sounds like a deal.

Hugo: If we are to work together, we should know your names.

Woman: You can call us by our professional names; I'm Bow and he's Hammer.

Hugo was visibly confused.

Hugo: Bow...and Hammer?

Hammer: Hunters usually go by nicknames to make it easier for us to find each other.

Hugo: I see...

As the group continued to talk, Amanda turned to Marcus.

Amanda: Set course for the Los Angeles docks, we will drive to Venice Beach from there.

Marcus: I'm on it.
