Mistral

After wandering the forest and slaying the Kushala Daora, Kira decided to travel to Mistral for a bit. But since she had little money, she can't travel on a transportation vehicle. Nor did she wan tto use her Semblance for people might see her real form. So, she decides to travel by foot.

Kira hummed as she continued to walk on foot. Just then, in a few kilometers, Kira saw numerous Grimm in a distance, mainly a pack of Beolwulves and an Ursa.

Knowing that it would be a waste of time using her powers against them, Kira immediately withdraws her Long Sword, the Knockout Dragonsword, and dashed towards them. She swings her sword as she passes through all of them and made a Migi Gedan sword stance. After a few seconds, the Grimm are all diagonally split in half as she sheathes her weapon and resumes walking.

"Hmph..... Useless." She muttered.

Right after saying that, she heard a gun cocking right behind him. Annoyed at the delayed time, Kira turns around to see who it is. All she sees are three random strangers. She is pretty sure they're not Altas soldiers nor any anyone she'd seen from her village. Looking at there attires, Kira immediately resume they are just bandits.

"Stay where you are!" Bandit 1 said, while pointing his gun towards Kira's head.

"And what do you plan on doing?" Kira asks.

"We saw what you did to those Grimm over there." Bandit 2 said. "We could use skill like that."

"And your reason being?" Kira asked, getting a little impatient they are wasting her time talking to them.

"Someone like you could use some extra coin." Bandit 3 said. "Perhaps you could makes some profit if you join us."

"Hmph. Not interested." Kira stated coldly.

"Then we have no use for you." Bandit 1 said.

Just as the bandit said that, Kira immediately withdraws the Knockout Dragonsword and dashes towards him. Paasing through, she swings through the bandit and posed like a samurai. But instead of killing him, the bandit fell to his knees.

"My god....." Bandit 3 said, looking at Kira.

Seeing this, the other two bandits turn towards Kira with their weapons ready. But just as they did this, Kira surrounds herself in a blinding gray light. In her place is a Kirin.

The Phantom Beast Elder Dragon neighs loudly as her horn glowed blue before rearing up and bringing it down. A powerful thunderbolt crashes in front of the two, knocking them off their feet.

The Kirin walks up to them and lowers her head, showing a sign of intimidation. She looks at them in the eyes as if saying, 'You can run or die trying. The choice is yours.'

Knowing that they are no match for the ELder dragon, they decided to go with the former option.

"..... You'll regret doing this." Bandit 2 said, picking up the injured bandit 1 and running away from Kira.

The Kirin neighs lowly as she reverts back to Kira.

"Don't makes threats you can't back up, assholes." Kira muttered before brushing off a bang of hair in her face to her side.

With the useless confrontation down, Kira continued her small journey across Remnant, walking as if that whole conversation never happened.

Branwen Tribe

"Mind being a bit specific on who did this?" Vernal asked one of the bandits after the inured is carried and being treated.

"...It was a girl. With pink hair and a green and gray armor." Bandit 2 said.

"She is strong. Stronger than anything we've seen." Bandit 3 said.

"How strong?" Vernal asked with some curiosity.

"Before we mugged her, we just saw her kill a whole horde of Grimm with one slash from her sword." Bandit 2 said. "They didn't even notice her. She just dashed forward and bisected all of them."

"She is also fast." Bandit 3 said. "Fast enough to wound our comrade before we even noticed."

With a description like that, Vernal had some concern on who this girl might be.

"You know Raven won't be happy about this." Vernal said.

"Happy about what?" Raven asked while appearing right behind Vernal, surprising her. "That a girl with armor wounded one of own?"

"...Yes." Vernal responded.

Hearing this, Raven just scoffed a bit and started walking towards the two bandits.

"This girl..." Raven said while smirking a bit. "Please, tell me more about her."

 Walking out of the forest, Kira eventually reached an unknown town.

"Huh, this might be a good place to rest a bit." Kira said while walking to the center of the town.

While Kira is heading to the center, she soon felt her stomach grumbling a bit. Rolling her eyes, she knew she had to eat something.

"Why not?" She shrugged." It's been a while since I tasted homemade food. Good thing I've been taking those bounty quests seriously."

Looking for a place to eat, Kira just saw a small noodle stand called "A Simple Wok." Shrugging a bit, she decided to give it a try.

"One basic noodles please." Kira said, placing her Lien on the table while taking a seat.

The store owner took the Lien and gave her a bowl of noddles.

Kira grabbed her chopsticks and started eating her bowl of noodles.

5 minutes later.....

After eating, Kira left the stand with her hunger satisfied.

"That is refreshing to say the least....." Kira said. "So, what's next?"

Just as she said this, gunshots are ehard followed by people running and screaming. Walking to see what it is, she passed through any citizen without showing any fear.

"And to think I'm starting to like this town." Kira muttered.

Reaching the entrance of the town, she sees numerous bandits standing there. She then knew it is the same bandits from before.

"You've got to be kidding me....." She sighs.

"Hey!" A bandit shouted, pointing at Kira. "It's that same girl that attacked our own!"

But before anyone else could react, Kira dashed forward with the Knockout Dragonsword ready. She swings and posed like a samurai. For what seemed to be four seconds, the bandit's head fell from the body.

Shocked and horrified at seeing how fast she is in killing one of them, the remaining bandits started running away.

"Hmph! Running like cowards. You should face death like a warrior!" Kira stated, ready to bisect them all.

Before she could get even close, a red blur appears and blocks Kira's Long Sword. Jumping back, she got a good look of the figure.

It is a woman with a red and black attire, she had a Grimm mask on her face, and had an odachi on her hip.

"So, if it isn't Raven Branwen." Kira stated.

"I could say the same, Kira." The masked woman said, readying her red blade.

Without words, the two swordswomen clashed. Each blow is parried by the other. Gripping into her sword's hilt, Kira sidesteps a slash before swinging the Knockout Dragonsword upwards, causing the red blade to be destroyed and Raven to be surprised.

"I'm a lot stronger than you think." Kira spat as she then headbutts Raven, causing the bandit leader to stagger backwards before Kira jumped and kicks Raven away. Realizing her ordinary blade will not work against Kira, Raven changed her blade to purple.

Of course, Kira knew what Dust the blade uses since she held some knowledge. Gravity.

But before she could even react, Raven rushes and slashes at her chest, staggering her. Gripping into her odachi hard, she proceeded to slash at Kira as hard as she could. Kira kept staggering backwards, but not actually taking damage.

Annoyed, Kira blocked with he sword and slashed at the woman, causing her to fall back to the ground. Raven immediately switches her odachi back to the basic red blade and knocks Kira back.

Immediately after she got knocked back, she lands on her feet and a white light enveloped her, surprising Raven.

When it cleared, a dragon-like creature stood in her place. It had a black and beige body with orange scales and highlights. It had two black and orange wings which are connected to its body unlike ordinary dragons. Has three horns with one on its forehead and the two at the back of the head. It had spikes from its tail, front and back legs with orange highlights. This is the Magnetic Elder Dragon; Rukodiora!

Rukodiora screeches as dark lightning surrounds her body while radiating an orange aura. Raven is then shocked as she is somehow being pulled closer to the Elder Dragon, who had now boulders circling around her as if having an orbit.

"Impressive." Raven muttered. But nonetheless, switched to her purple blade and manages to jump away from the magnetic pull. But before she could land, the Elder Dragon fires a Dragon Element-based beam that struck the bandit leader. If Raven felt pin, she didn't show it a she made a portal and went through it.

Rukodiora searched left and right for. A portal then appears above her and Raven, with her ice-fused blade, watses no time slashing at the Rukodiora. The Rukodiora growls in anger rather than pain a she magnetically draws in a boulder, which is then destroyed by Raven. But the minor distraction costs her as Rukodiora than lets out a powerful orange aura an ddark lightning which knocks Raven off of her.

Rukodiora then magnetically levitates some boulders and chucking them towards Raven. She switches to her yellow blade, which cackles lightning, stated slashinger her way through the boulders before swinging at the Magnetic Elder Dragon. Of course, not being weak to the Thunder Element, Rukodiora tanks the slashes without getting hurt before spinning and whacking her away with her tail.

As Raven crashes to the ground, Rukodiora firs one more dragon beam that consumes her. When she finished, Raven is on all ofurs and bleeding badly. The Elder Dragon grunts before reverting back to Kira. Withdrawing her Long Sowrd, she rests the sword's tip to the woman's neck.

"Hmph, so much for your bravado." Kira said.

"D-Damn..." Raven muttered, still feeling the affect of Dragonblight.

A gunshot went off to her left side and Kira jumps away from Raven to dodge. Looking up, she sees Vernal and the rest of the Branwen Tribe.

"Not on my watch." Vernal said, with her and the rest drawing out their weapons.

Kira narrowed her eyes. "So be it." She said, preparing to use her Long Sword.

GRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRR!

However, a blood-curdling roar is heard, catching everyone's attention. But in Kira's case, her eyes widened in shock and surprise.

"No way...." She muttered in shock.

A black blur appeared in front of Kira, making smoke that forces everyoen to cover their eyes. When the reopen them, Nergigante is seen towering over the Raven, Vernal and the bandits, with his back facing Kira while growling at them. Some fainted while others scream in horror.

"Whoa!" Vernal said in surprise.

Raven immediately creates portals. "Everyone in! NOW!" No one argued as they jumped in with Venral and Raven being the last before the portal closed.

Satisfied, the Extinction Elder Dragon then turns to Kira, who is in a state of shock.

"..... N-Nergigante?" She choked out. "Is that r-really y-y-you?"

Instead of answering, Nergigante lowers his head and growls softly, rubbing the side of head against her left arm

Kira immediately wrapped her arms around his neck. "Oh  Nergigante!" She cried. "I missed you so much! I thought I lost you when the Amatsumagatsuchi invaded my village!"

The Elder Dragon kept quiet, but still rubs his head against Kira, showing he had missed her just as much.
