I mean, I can definitely see why people ship them, and I wouldn't be opposed to the idea, but I wouldn't be bothered if it didn't happen, either. This ship is sort of 'meh' for me, I guess.

I suppose if it did happen in canon, it wouldn't exactly come out of nowhere. I mean, they did go on one date (which didn't end well, admittedly) as Holt described in the diary that came with his original doll.
