Upon first hearing of this ship, I had no idea what to think of it, but I did some research on the characters' personalities and found that they're both very creative, with Porter's love of painting and Billy's love of special effects. They also seem to both enjoy pranking people according to the wiki, and they're both caring--even if one of them shows it more often than the other. So they have a lot in common, more so than I would have thought. 

However, my only reason for not immediately falling in love with this ship is that it's difficult for me to picture Porter with someone other than Spectra at this point, but if she and Scarah weren't in the picture then I could absolutely see this working!

It'd be pretty cool, I think, to see a fanfiction where they start off with Scarah and Spectra, respectively, but then realize their feelings for each other over the course of the story. If anything like that has been done, feel free to post a link in the comments!

Conclusion: With their girlfriends out of the picture, sure!
