I personally don't care for this ship at all. I can't place why, exactly, I just don't.

That was my initial thought on this pairing, until I read Finnegan's diary. After doing that, I think they actually do kind of work. I can accept it. According to the wiki they're not dating yet, but I wouldn't be opposed to it if they ever did!
