Abilities

•Overgrowth: An ability almost exclusive to Grass type starter Pokemon (Pansage and Simisage being exceptions). Torterra's Grass moves are powered up when Torterra is in a pinch.

•Shell Armor: Torterra's powerful tortoiseshell prevents it from being critically hit.

Moves

•Earthquake: Torterra stomps the ground and creates an extremely powerful earthquake.

•Wood Hammer: Torterra slams his wooden body into the opponent. Hard. This move does so much damage that Torterra takes half of it back itself.

•Tackle: Torterra rams into the opponent.

•Withdraw: Torterra powers up its shell, raising its defense.

•Absorb: Torterra uses a weak vine to drain the opponent of health, restoring half of the damage dealt.

•Razor Leaf: Torterra fires a bunch of razor-sharp leaves at the opponent. This move has a high critical hit ratio.

•Curse: At the cost of speed, Torterra buffs up its attack and defense.

•Bite: Torterra bites the opponent with dark energy, potentially causing them to flinch, preventing them from moving.

•Mega Drain: Torterra grabs its opponent with a strong vine, absorbing energy from its opponent.

•Leech Seed: Torterra plants draining seeds on the opponent, taking a bit of life of them every so often to restore its own.

•Synthesis: Torterra uses the sunlight to restore its health. In normal weather, it's by half. In sunny weather, it's by 2/3. In other weather, it's by a quarter.

•Crunch: Torterra crunches the opponent in its mouth with dark energy. It has a chance to lower defense.

•Giga Drain: Torterra snatches its opponent with a massive amount of vines, sucking its energy and adding it to its own.

•Leaf Storm: Torterra launches a storm of powerful leaves at the opponent. At the cost of its amazing power, this move sharply cuts special attack.

Egg Moves

•Amnesia: Torterra relaxes its mind and clear any distressing thoughts, sharply raising its resistance to special attacks.

•Body Slam: Torterra leaps into the air and crashes onto the opponent with its body, possibly causing their body to become paralyzed.

•Double Edge: Torterra lunges at its opponent with an all-out tackle that causes severe damage to itself.

•Earth Power: Torterra slams the ground and causes the earth to erupt from under the opponent, having a small chance of lowering their resistance to special attacks.

•Grassy Terrain: Torterra temporarily causes grass to overflow the local area, causing anyone touching the ground to slowly recover health, and increase the potency of Gras-Type attacks.

•Growth: Torterra forces its whole body to undergo a sudden growth, raising both its physical and special attack potency.

•Heavy Slam: Torterra crushes its opponent with its massive body, dealing more damage the heavier it is than its opponent.

•Sand Tomb: Torterra traps its opponent in a fierce mini-sandstorm, dealing damage overtime as they remain inside.

•Seed Bomb: Torterra launches a volley of hard-shelled seeds onto its opponent from above.

•Stockpile: Torterra stockpiles energy within itself, building up its physical and special defense. The more energy it builds up, the more potent it becomes, and upon its consumption, its defenses will return to normal.

•Spit Up: Torterra uses the energy built up from Stockpile to launch an beam of energy at its opponent. The more energy it has, the more damage this attack deals.

•Swallow: Torterra uses the energy built up from Stockpile to heal itself. The more energy it has, the more damage it can heal.

•Superpower: Torterra charges at the opponent with a powerful tackle, at the cost of lowering its own physical attack and defense stats.

•Thrash: Torterra goes on a rampage and attacks its opponent fiercely. Attacking at this level exhausts Torterra, however, and causes it to fall into a state of confusion afterward.

•Tickle: Torterra uses its vines to tickle its opponent, causing them to lower their physically offensive and defensive strength.

•Wide Guard: Torterra creates a large barrier that protects it and its allies from widespread attacks. However, focused attacks can easily pierce the barrier, and constantly using this attack can cause it to fail.

•Worry Seed: Torterra plants a seed on the opponent, which causes them to worry endlessly and prevents them from falling asleep.

•Rollout: Torterra rolls itself into a ball and charges at its opponent, getting stronger with each consecutive attack.

•Stomp: Torterra crushes its opponent with a mighty stomp, sometimes causing its opponent to flinch.

•Sleep Powder: Torterra disperses a cloud of sleep-inducing spores, causing anyone who breathes it to fall into a deep sleep.

•Energy Ball: Torterra draws upon nature's power and forms it into a ball of energy, before unleashing it at its opponent, possibly lowering their resistance to special attacks.

•Stone Edge: Torterra slams the ground and pierces its opponent with multiple large, sharpened stones, oftentimes dealing massive damage.

•Solar Beam: Torterra uses its natural foliage to gather sunlight, before launching the concentrated solar energy right at its target. The strength of the attack is weakened in cloudy or rainy conditions, while intense sunlight allows Torterra to launch its attack immediately.

•Frenzy Plant: Torterra unleashes nature's fury using the roots of an enormous tree to lash at its opponent for an incredible amount of damage. This causes physical strain on Torterra, however, and tends to leave him motionless for a short bit to recover his strength.

•Frustration: Torterra draws upon its hate towards others and unleashes a barrage of blows on its opponent.

•Return: Torterra recalls the feelings it has for its loved ones, and channels them into a single strike against its opponent.
