King Taijitu are large serpentine creatures of Grimm. The first to appeared in the series encountered by Lie Ren in the episode "The Emerald Forest".

Powers and Abilities: Superhuman physical characteristics, immorality (Type 1), enhanced senses (All Grimm can detect negative emotions across vast distances), adaptation (Grimm are able to evolve over time to be able to counter threats as well as adjust to their environment), natural weaponry (Teeth), Pseudo-Invulnerability (Its slippery scales prevents weapons from cutting it), multiple selves (Type 3), self-sustenance (Type 2), large size (Type 0), immunity to soul manipulation (Due to the lack of a soul), possibly poison manipulation (Nora believed their fangs to be venomous)

Attack Potency: City level (Was capable of giving Team CVFY a hard fight in the novel)|City Block level (Fought against both Team RWBY and Team JNPR simultaneously. Due to the tentacle grimm powers the merged King Taijitu has the combined power of four King Taijitus, Ruby even stating it was the strongest Grimm they had even faced, which would make it superior to the likes of a Nevermore)
