'Agh I'm so tired' Mia mumbled as they slowly grew farther from their school. She didn't know if the bus driver was new or if he just took a different turn but something was definitely NOT right. 'Hey, sir? This isn't the way home..' Mia stated. She suddenly became scared as they took one turn. It was a very dark tunnel. 'AGHHH! I hate our bus driver now!' Someone said. It was Ella, Mia's best friend ever since kindergarten. 'Kids get out the bus' The bus driver groaned. 'Hm, I think no!' Ella laughed. Mia joined in with her laughing but deep down she was terrified. 'H-Hey? Is that a ghost?!' Mia whispered. 'Nope it's just an old man..' The old man approached the vehicle and started to punch the window. After quite a while the glass broke and cut Mia in the eye. 'AHH DAMN IT!' Mia yelled. The old man started to laugh, it escalated and got just like a little demon. 'This is why I said GET OUT!' The bus driver yelled. All the friends sighed. Ella looked out the window to see some strange alien world with many portals. 'Hey follow me!' A boy said. It was Noah. All the friends followed Noah outside the bus and into the strange world. Mia coughed. 'I- I can't breath! She mumbled. 'Wait.. Mia your eye!' Noah cried. 'Huh?' Mia questioned. 'It's bleeding, like so much!' Noah yelled. 'Shhh! We don't know it's safe here, someone could find us and kill us!' Ella whispered. 'Oh your such a pussy cat Ella!' Mia cried. Noah pulled out a little tissue just big enough to cover Mia's eye. 'Keep it on there for some time. Just until it stops bleeding' Noah started to lead them to a portal. 'Jump in!' Noah cried as he jumped into the portal. 'Uhh nah I think I'll pass- NOAH!' Ella cried. Ella and Mia stuck their head in to see if they try and find Noah. 'Ugh! I can't see anything, I'm not going in.' Mia said.  Both Mia and Ella had brought food in their bag for lunch, lunch ended up being cancelled because one single person took someone else's lunch. 'Hey, I'm hungry I'm gonna eat my apple that I brought.' Ella stated. 'Hm, in case we get stuck in going to save mine for later.' Ella took a giant bite of her apple and then started running off. 'HEY KIDS! I KNOW THE WAY BACK COME HERE!' The bus driver yelled. They both rushed over to him. They noticed something strange. There was a scratch on his face. It wasn't there earlier either. Apart from that he was completely normal. They both hopped onto the bus and before he started he asked, 'Hey where's that other kid? Uhm I think his name is Noey..' asked the bus driver. 'One it's Noah not Noey' Ella began but then Mia cut her off. 'He fell into one of the portals. Don't worry he wanted to.' Mia finished. 'Oh, if so then let's find him!' The bus driver cried. 'Oh also my name is Oakley.' Oakley mentioned. 'Oh, cool name and also don't bother about Noah. He'll beat us up if we save him.' Mia giggled. 'What, why?' Oakley asked. 'Oh cause he doesn't want a girl saving him. Just start!' Mia happily said. The bus driver started the bus and they were off! Back home! 'Hah, finally!' Ella exclaimed. An hour later they passed Noah's home. 'Nearly home!' Mia exclaimed. A couple minutes later they arrived at Ella's house. 'Bye Ella!' 'Bye Mia.' They pull up to Mia's house at last and she hops off. 'Bye Oakley!' Mia shouted as she got off. She ran towards her mum and her sister. 'ANNIE, MUM!' Mia cried. 'Where were you young woman?' Her mum said looking at her sternly. 'Uh- so you see.. the bus driver was new and he took us to some weird alien world and Noah fell into a portal and' Mia said very quickly. 'Slow down! I did understand you though and I don't believe you.' Her mum shouted. 'Alien worlds don't exist!' She said through her laughter. 'They do exist!' Annie giggled. 'Hm. Anyways it's time for dinner now!' Her mum stated as she guided them both through the dining room and into the kitchen. 'Sit.' She demanded. She quickly and carefully gave them their food. 'Eat up, and then have a bath' She said to Annie. 'I can't bathe myself mommy!' Annie wined. 'What? Your 5 of course you can!' Their mum giggled. 'I'll do it!' Mia suggested. 'No, no. You need sleep! You were just going on about some alien world!' She cried. Mia pushed her plate away. 'I'm done.' She muttered. 'Ok dear! Get some rest!' Her mum shouted. She went to her room and closed the door. 'Ugh, why won't she believe me?' Mia mumbled. She went on her phone to text her next door neighbour, Jake. Heyyyyyy. Mia texted. Oh, hey! Jack texted back almost immediately. You still a noob on roblox? Mia texted. Nah not anymore! Jack texted. I have a question.. jack texted. Huh? What is it? Mia texted. NVM NVM NVM NVMMMMMM- Jack texted immediately. Tell meeeeeeeeee! Mia texted. Ugh fine. Do you have a crush? Uhh- yes I do actually, why? Oh no reason hah, hah, hah.. Do you have one? Mia texted. Mhm! I do. Jack replied. Mia locked her phone and started to blush. 'Omg he'll never know I have a crush on him!' She exclaimed to herself. Her phone buzzed, she had another text. Jack: I have a crush on you! Omg she thought is this real? She quickly removed the towel to reveal her eye. She was going to send a selfie with her answer. She couldn't though. She couldn't see out of that eye anymore, she then started to freak out. 'AHHHHH' She screamed. 'I CANT SEE OUT OF MY LEFT EYE!' 'GET HELP AHHHHH!  Her mum and sister rushed in, her sister half naked. 'Oh for god sake Annie get out!' Her mum cried. 'MIA WHAT HAPPENED?!' Her mum screamed. 'On the bus an old man smashed the window and a really big part of the glass stabbed my eye!' Mia cried. 'I'm going to call the hospital!' Her mum screamed. An hour later an ambulance arrived. 'Seriously mum? An ambulance!' Mia mumbled. 'Yes seriously! This is serious!' The doctors put her on the bed. A little bit later they got to the hospital. They immediately started to try and find a room for Mia. 'Here! I found one!' One doctor cried. They got her onto the hospital bed and started to inject Mia with some stuff. Mia thought it was stuff to deal with pain but then they stabbed one into her and she immediately fell asleep. 'Mia if you can hear me they put you to sleep so that you can't feel too much pain, also being awake and blinking will interfere with the process of getting it out.' Her mum said sadly. The doctor pulled out some tweezers and started to pull on the glass in her eye. After an hour the glass shard was out and her eye was bandaged. 'You can go home now.' The doctor said. 'Next patient!' The receptionist called. As father was out of town with the car they had to walk from the hospital to their home. The walk was around 3 hours. They arrived just at midnight. Mia decided to go to Jake instead of going home. She banged on the door rapidly. His dad answered the door. 'Hm?' He mumbled. 'What the hell? It's midnight! Who are you, Girl Scouts selling cookies?' He yelled. 'Scram.' He shouted. 'I'm actually her-'Mia started but then he slammed the door in her face. She had a key to his window in case that happened so she climbed the fencing and plants along the wall to his window. She quickly unlocked it and jumped in. She shook Jake. 'HEY! Wake up!' She said. 'Oh my gosh, Mia it's midnight!' Jack cried. 'And? We are teenagers! Who cares?' Mia giggled. She quickly pulled him in and whispered in his ear, 'Do you actually have a crush on me?' 'Heh, yeah I do.' Jake said romantically. Jake leaned in and Mia quickly closed her eyes because she knew what he was about to do. Suddenly, his mum burst in. Tears in her eyes. She looked at them both. Kissing. 'Jake! I was about to say our good friend Carl (Mia's dad) died and your here kissing his daughter!' His mum exclaimed. She sighed. 'You two, I thought you were just friends huh?' His mum giggled still with tears in her eyes.
