Jimmy Firecracker

    Sly Pov.

"Anybody else still hung up on the fact that we're immortal?! How'd she even do that?! As far as I know, only a couple heroes, and Asgardians get the privilege!" Katz marvels. I think for a moment.

"New-I mean Jess, said that Lady Thor's children were made immortal. Is it possible she might have done the same thing that Lady Thor did?" I ask quietly. Steven seems to consider it.

"That seems to be the most likely thing. If we are magically made indestructible, and she has told a story about something like it, it is the most logical conclusion." Kala looks out the window, and sighs.

"I don't even know what to think about her anymore. She blames a girl whose only wanted to protect the world for not dying with her children, but she made us immortal out of pure selflessness! It's like I want to strangle her, but also hug her!" I nod my head, but I know I feel the strangle option is better. I don't really feel like hugging her, maybe it's a girl thing?

"I think the most important thing here is Lady Thor, we need to look up more about her!" Castor suggests. Katz slides his rolling chair across the room, and we walk up behind him. He clicks on the internet button, and looks up, 'Lady Thor's Secret'. It takes a moment to load, but the first thing to pop up says, 'Removed due to complaints. Call 142-895-2547 (Google offices) for support.' And the second thing. And the third. And the fourth. And all of the next hundred pages.

"This is probably the single most frustrating mission I've ever been on! I mean, I have no doubt that Thor wanted us to meet Jess, but why?" I ask frustratedly. Alex shook his head.

"If I knew, we'd be gone! We'd have completed the mission, and defeated whoever Thor wanted us to defeat!" For some reason, I don't think the mission is that simple.

"If it were that kind of mission, Thor wouldn't have been cryptic." I point out. "Jarvis, please call Google offices." I say, to my comm unit.

"As you wish sir." I hear a beeping sound, and soon enough I reach someone. I turn it on speaker, so everyone can hear.

"Hello, this is the headquarters for Google. What is your issue?" An old sounding man asks.

"Well, we looked up 'Lady Thor's Secret', and everything seems to be removed!" I answer. Suddenly the man gets much angrier!

"Don't go poking around there! It was a tragedy, and not all of us forgave ourselves! Stop going where you don't belong kid!" I try to back up.

     "I-I'm sorry, s-sir, but I j-just wanted to kn-know." The man softens.

"I understand, kid. I was a big fan of her back in the day. I had a bunch of merchandise, and even a blog about her! My girlfriend left me, because she thought I was obsessed!" Wait, this story sounds familiar!

    "J-Jimmy Firecracker?!" I hear a chuckle.

"You read the blog! Yes, it's me. Never thought I'd end up like this, a murderer, and stuck in a horrible job." What?!

"What do you mean, a murderer?!" I ask angrily. "What did you do?!"

"I went with the police," There's a slight pause. "to kill her kids. Something weird happened. The kids just got up after every time we tried to kill them! The police took them to a man practiced in magic, and he killed them that way. As I said, I never forgave myself." I'm horrified! I can see the others are too!

"And the police just...let it happen?! That's illegal!" I protest.

"It is. But we were blinded by the truth about her! The police didn't care!" He argues.

"But what exactly was the truth?! We weren't told anything!" I weasel my way back to the subject.

"I can't tell you that, out of respect for her. Trust me kid, the company doesn't want a bad rep, so we steer clear of this business. I can give you a hint though, 'Check under the term,'a dastardly truth.'" And with that, the phone clicks off. Katz turns to the computer, and types it in. Only one thing comes up, an article by Jimmy Firecracker.
