"Hey, Historia...I've been meaning to ask you." Eren began to say. 

"What is it?"

"What's the name of it?"

"Hmm?" Historia was a bit confused. 

"Before Rod transformed, did he mention the name of the titan that Y/n possessed?"

"Yeah, I've been meaning to ask that too." Jean chimed in. 

"..." You stayed silent as usual, but something about your silence in this situation seemed...suspicious. 

"So have I. Surely the titan that Y/n holds inside must have a name." Hange asked. 

This grew everyone's curiosity as they all turned towards Historia. 

"Oh...actually...he never said anything about it. I was wondering that too, he didn't really specify any about the titan having a name."

Everyone looked surprised. 

"Then that gives more evidence that Y/n's titan is new..." Armin suggested. 

"Armin's right. My father, a part of the royal family, the know the names of each and every intelligent titan as well as the history of them. If he was surprised that Y/n's titan even exists, then it must have been born or developed somehow..." Historia explained. 

"But it still doesn't make sense," Jean replied. 

"An intelligent titan can't just be born so suddenly. Are you sure the royal family had nothing to do with it?" Eren asked. 

"It's just a theory. I'm not quite sure if it's true."

"The real question is...how did Y/n obtain her powers? Has she had it this entire time? Or did she obtain it when we were separated by the Fall of Wall Maria?" Eren asked. 

"Maybe the entire time?" Historia suggested, still not sure. 

"I don't know. He only told me the story about meeting Y/n and briefly about her powers. I think...he was scared of her. Scared of what she can do. She was powerful enough to leech some of the founding titan powers. Is that even possible?" Historia added. 

"The real question is...what was Y/n doing in front of the Chapel?" Eren asked. 

"What are you saying, Eren?" Mikasa asked. 

"I'm saying how did Y/n manage to get outside the walls like that? Did she somehow sneak out or maybe...she came from somewhere else..." Eren replied. 

"I think you might be on to something. You're saying that Y/n must be from somewhere outside the Walls and she managed to get here somehow. Reiner mentioned that to you, right?" Armin said. 

"Exactly!" 

"Then what Reiner said to be back then must have been the truth? She might have came from their hometown. Wherever that is..." Historia said. 

"Still, as much as I don't want to believe it. Everything that we learned from now is starting to make sense."

"....." Your silence still remained as usual. But the way you were quiet seemed tense; Armin noticed how...distance you were from the conservation. 

Almost like you wanted to avoid getting involved in it. 

"Although this is all new information to take, don't forget we have a big ass titan to stop and a hole to plug in," Captain said. 

"Wait...since Y/n is a titan shifter. Does she have a hardening ability too?" Sasha asked. 

"I'm not sure. Probably."

"She should have been she's a titan."

"But...can she even transform?" 

You felt eyes on you, you still did not make eye contact with anyone. 

"Y/n? Y/n?" Eren shook you in focus. 

"H-hm?" You asked, a bit surprised by the sudden touch. 

"Can you transform?" He asked. 

You don't know...can you transform?

You shook your head. 

"That's weird. After everything we've been through, you had a lot of chances to transform. Your will to fight..." Eren replied. 

"..." You stared at Eren. 

"You mean, you never unlocked your will to fight? Even with your bloodlust!?"

"She's different, Eren. Maybe she needs a stronger push in order to activate her titan powers!" Historia suggested. 

"So all this time, nothing was enough to set you off the edge...?" Eren asked. 

You slowly shook your head. 

From your answer, the atmosphere became tense.

*Time Skip*

You all finally arrived back to the walls and into the Orvud District. At this point, you were a bit more distant than ever. 

Your mind was racing, you couldn't stop thinking back to that dream. 

That face...that titan...

Was that your titan?

Why did it feel so different?

"Historia, there's something I've been meaning to tell you." Captain's voice brought you back to reality. 

"What is it?"

"This was a command by Erwin. Since you're the true successor to the thrown. After all of this blows over, you need to become queen."

Everyone's eyes widened, including yours. 

"Wait! Queen Historia!? You're kidding, right!?" Sasha asked. 

"The people won't follow Military rule forever. We need to give them a heartwarming story when the rightful heir takes her rightful place on the throne."

"Oh, I see..." Historia's voice trailed off. 

"Wait...hold on...You heard what Historia was saying earlier, didn't you Captain? Cause...well...it sounded to me like maybe going against her dad. she finally broke apart from that part of her life. It's just like...-"

"Like what? You have something to say, say it." Levi harshly replied. 

"U-um! I-" Connie stuttered. 

"Poor Connie..." You thought pitifully. 

"Hey Captain...what Connie is trying to say is that Historia broke free from the Reiss family. And decided she was more than just a bloodline. And to force her into a role for that reason I-...I just don't think it's fair."

"It's fine..." Historia replied. 

"If my next duty is to become a queen, then that's what I'll do."

"But Historia..." Armin began to say. 

Historia smiled a bit. 

You furrowed your eyebrows. No one anyone would be fine with that. 

"I do appreciate your concern. But whether this is forced on me...it's really up to me to decide. And...I've decided..."

"But before that...Captain, I'll do it on one condition..."

"And that is...?" Levi asked. 

"While my faith is still on my own. I want to put everything I have on the line."

The group then proceeded to get ready for the attack and arrived at the meeting. You and Historia arrived a little while after. 

As they got into position, Y/n overheard Mikasa saying something to Historia. 

"Once you become queen, you punch that smug little runt in the face."

"Pfft!" You covered your mouth quickly to hold back a choked laugh. 

You entered the room, Commander Erwin was situated there. He was later filled in on the situation. 

"I see...but the real question is what did the king want with L/n?" He asked. 

....

Silence

"I...I think we need to talk more privately about that." Hange replied. 

"..." You could have sworn Commander's eyes flickered towards you for a moment. 

"Alright, we're moving. We'll start by sunrise." Erwin said. 

"Oh...things are about to get messy." You thought. 

*Time Skip*

When morning came, the group arrived on top of the walls and began to fire cannons at the large titan. Which didn't seem to do much?  

You covered your ears at the loud booming noises and squinted your eyes at the sight of smoke. You're not a big fan of loud noises. 

You watched with a disturbing look of the giant-worm like titan crawling towards the wall.  

"Rod turned into that? Well, that's not a pretty sight."  You thought. 

"Well...how'd that do?" Erwin asked. 

It remained quiet for a moment before Rod began moving again. 

"Well, that didn't do anything." You thought. 

Cannons began firing again, but Rod just kept moving. 

"Looks like the cannons on the field are less effective."

"Well, no shit."

"Makes sense. The cannons on the wall have a better angle, but they didn't do shit to it either." Levi replied. 

"What's the problem?"

"Unprepared soldiers," Erwin answered. 

"Erwin~! I brought the goodies~!" You heard Hange said. 

You immediately took interest and ran over. 

"All the gunpowder, ropes, and nets I could find! We still need to put it together. Ooh! And I got that too! There's another one just like it further down!"

"Grandpa always said things like these were dangerous and I shouldn't touch it. But they look so cool!" You thought as you wrapped the rope around your arm.  

Just then, you heard a grunt. You turned around abruptly to find that Eren just punched himself.

"What the--!? Eren, what are you doing!?"

 You gasped as you ran up to him, hugging him tightly by the torso to stop him. But no avail. 

Armin and Mikasa soon joined to help, Mikasa held Eren by the arms to stop him from punching himself. His nose was bleeding. You stared at him in deep concern. Why would Eren do that?

"Are you making a wound!? But it's not time yet." Mikasa said. 

"I wasn't trying to. I was just trying to beat the shit out of my past self. He's dead and gone now."

"Eren...what do you mean by that?"

Eren noticed the deep worry and confusion in your eyes. He somehow knew you sensed something different in his words. 

"I'm fine Y/n. You don't have to worry." Eren said while gently pulling you away. 

Just then, a loud boom was heard and the whole place began to shake. A puff of hot air blew towards them, you took cover. 

"Agh...so hot. I can't see anything!"

The ground vibrated around them as a giant titan hand emerged from below and stood up entirely. Your eyes widened at the sight and nearly passed out from the smell it was giving. 

As a person with heightened senses of smell, this was nauseating for you. 

The soldiers dispersed as Armin led you to a barrel of water to cool her down and you soon followed the rest to stay clear of Eren transforming. 

Everyone got into a position to get ready to fire. All while you thought nervously. 

"I really hope this works..." you thought.
