It took ages, about sixty interviews at all those restaurants, stores and even fucking Arcades! Either being harassed by the person supposed to hire me, or having to harass the person hiring me because they weren't sure what gender I was. My brother recording each one happily, despite me threatening his social media page.
Though, by the end of the sixtieth interview, I somehow became a mall cop for this really well known mall despite never training to even be a cop. I believe it was called "Plaza of Fond"?
But it was a pleasant surprise a few months later when I wasn't fired right away when the cheif mall cop found out my gender. The old geezer laughed it off, he claimed that it made sense since I was 'Flat'. I think I probably kicked his second in command in the balls a week prior when he 'groped' me on the lower area to 'check', so I assume the cheif found out then.
I guess my luck was good at the moment. But Today, at the beginning of my second year working in this Mall, I shall punish myself... Because these Mall cops... Knew that Monsters existed.

The Elevator was slow, it held about twenty people at the moment. One of it's passengers was a young androgynous adult, their pitch black hair falling over their face. They had about three screens floating over them, the other eighteen were doing the exact same thing.
The blacket's night like eyes carefully scanning the screens. Swiping up a few times, and to the left at others. They continued to pay attention to the screen before their attention was seemingly caught by something else.
Their screens suddenly disappeared, as if the screens weren't there in the first place. The adult's eyes looked around at at the heads that they could see. Huffing as they crouched down to see if they missed any.
There, in the middle of the crowd was a little boy. The boy had on a white sweater, and had dirt blond hair. Something was wiggling out from under his sweater. Black, tentical like things slowly spread along the floor, electric like currents sizzling along it's black tenticals.
The Elevator jolted, making everyone on it to jolt. The Androgynous adult practically fell back onto their bottom at the suddeness of it. Their doe like eyes scanning the crowd again as the lights flickered off. The crowd was in a panic now, but thankfully not in a stamped like way, just the nervous jittery manner.
"Hey, why'd the evalator stop?" One of the three male teens says, raising their hand when they looked down at the eldest adult there, who was standing next to the fallen androgynous adult.
"Probably a blackout?" Said the woman, looking round before she starts pressing the emergency botton repetitively.
"Ay, calm down, lady," The Androgynous said, quickly getting up and gently pulling the small woman's hand off the bottons, making the woman look up. She huffed in frustration, practically glaring the androgynous down.
"And why would I listen to a trouble making college student like you?" The woman says, folding her arms defiently as she glares at them coldly. "You're far younger then me."
"Yes, but I work as part of the security in this mall," the Androgynous says, calming the woman who practically sagged at the news. "I'll try to get my boss and the manager in contact. See if there's a reason why the elevator stopped."
The woman stayed silent, looking at the Androgynous curiously before she nods. Androgynous took this as a signal to start up the call. They tried the radio first, earning ear piercing screeches for trying to do so.
They didn't feel the tentacles wrap around them till a few of the girls on the elevator screamed. Making Androgynous look back in surprise, the woman beside them also looking back.
The woman screamed before fainting in shock, being the only one not wrapped in the black coils. Androgynous was looking in shock at how these things managed to wrap the other seventeen passengers so quickly amd silently. Having them hold the captured passengers above them all. A few of the girls were squirming, the hold of the tentacles keeping a firm grip on them all.
"My, my, Andri," came a childish voice, originating from the white hooded boy, his eyes looking at the name tag on Androgynous' shirt, making them stiffen. "You look like these things... But you smell like my people."
Androgynous started struggling then. The people around them having stopped struggling with how tired they became. The feeling the "boy's" tentical things gliding over thier skin. The tenticals paused in certaint areas, grazing it lightly causing Androgynous to shiver in fear.
"Speak up, Andri," the "boy" commanded, squeezing Andri slightly, making them tear up lightly in fear. "Explain to me why such a creature as yourself has what humans have? You are one of my people and you should not have these."
"Let the humans go," requested Andri, their black eyes peering past their hair, looking at the "boy" carefully. "And I might be able to explain."
The boy looked considerate, his eyes looking at the people in his other seventeen black tenticals. He turns back at Andri, piercing brown eyes scanning them carefully.
"I'm full now anyways," He says, dropping the now tired people, a few giving weak cries of surprise. "Now speak."
"Taking me away from here first," Andi says, keeping a hold on the tentacle, slim hands flat against it. "Humans will look weirdly at other humans if they hear this."
The boy stayed silent, the people who were barely even sleeping looking up at this. The Elevator light suddenly flickered on, blinding the tired people at the suddeness of it. When they looked up again, the monster like boy and the Andri person weren't there.

The boy held Andri in his arms, the strange person was limp. He was curious now, he remembered feeling those bumps, they were soft and they were in areas that were tender for both Monsters and Humans. He wanted to know why this person was with Humans of all things.
He knew he was frustrated with himself. This person obviously never knowing how to leave areas like he did, leaving them unconscious. He looked down at Andri, taking in their soft looks and thin build. He didn't know what gender this Andri was, and he wasn't willing to risk his life if Andri was a dangerous Monster.
Andri started to move, shifting in the boy's arms. They slowly open their eyes, black meeting brown. Andri sits up, scrambling off of the boy in fear. They looked around, their eyes still drooping from the sudden tiredness that wrapped around them.
"Calm down, Andri," the boy says, a malicious smile on his lips, the sudden energy Andri gave him was somehow addicting, finding it strange with how he didn't notice it till at this moment at how hyper he became. "I just got some questions for you to answer."
"And I got no answers," Andri says, their voice quivering as theu realize they were on a roof, the sky was dark, the air around them was slightly chilly, Andri was silently glad that they wore a black sweater and loose jeans.
The boy mearly frowned, looking at Andri in frustration. He lets his frustration control him, a black tentacle smashing an inch away from Andri. In fear, Andri scrambles away, not understanding why he was suddenly threatened.
"Chill kid!" They yelp, feeling that the scrambled a few feet away from the tentical. "I'm sorry I can't explain shit to you!"
"Bullshit, Andri!" The boy shouts, another tentacle wipping out from under his sweater and gripping Andri tightly, making the poor Androgynous yelp in pain. "I don't know what you are, but I want you to tell me What you are! Your energy is unusual. The scent of human on you, yet the scent of a Minister is also on you. You must tell me what you are, and were the rest of your kind are!"
"I don't know what your talking about," Andri says, gasping from both pain and the lack of air as the boy's tentical slowly tightens it's grip around his neck. "I know I'm not Them. Amd I ain't one of you. And I won't tell you nothi-ACK!"
The boy tightens his tentical around Andri's neck, making them panic. They started struggling all over again, their vision blurring as he tries to wiggle out of the boy's grip again.
"You see what you're making me look like, Andri," the boy's voice suddenly sounds deep, echoing on the roof in a venomous tone. "You're makimg me look like what those Humans call my people. A Monster. Now tell me. What. Are. YOU!"
Andri stills, an audible "Crack" being heard from their small body. The boy stills at that noise, his shoulders slumping as his tentacle retracts, droping their body with a dull thud. He glares down at Andri's body, kicking it in frustration before he stomps onto the limp body.
He huffs again, turning around and walking over to the ledge of the building's roof. He looks down, a hundred floor drop, something that would kill a human. He was disappointed, Andri's energy was so filling, and he only drained a little of it compared to those measly humans. He'll probably find another one, no, he'll hunt for more of those Things that Andri seems to be.
He isn't sure, after all, this was his first time encountering that Thing. He'll probably find more if he hunts properly.
That Thing's people obviously evolved to be mistaken as Human in sight, as well as to be safe from blind Ministers. He was disgusted by it's meer existance, but wanted to see if there were more so he could eat some more.
Pain suddenly blooms through the boy's chest. He looks over his shoulder, only to see Andri standing up tall, in their hand was a beating white heart. Black blood smearing over their hand, heart looking gray with the blood also smearing it.
Andri's face was hidden under their hair. No insane smile that he saw on Immortal killers when they manage to kill a full grown Kraken. He places a hand on his chest, feeling no blood on his chest. He gently reaches his bottom spine, not being as flexivle as his tenticals. The feel of gooey liquid slipping past his small fingers before he pulls his hand away from there to see it for himself.
"I'm sorry," was the quivering voice of Andri, who was now collapsed onto the floor, hugging the boy's heart against their chest, making the boy to look over at Andri. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry, ImsorryImsorryImsorry! I am so SO SORRY!"
The boy only smiles, the thought of this thing apologizing to him for killimg it first. He laughed, blood spilling out of his mouth, surprising him. Andri damaged his lungs, that only made the boy laugh harder at the realization of this.
The boy laughed so hard that he fell off the roof. He knew that he wouldn't survive this, and even if he did he'll either bleed out or shrivel up under the sun if no one finds him first. He didn't even get to apologize to Andri for killing him first.

I can't believe I did that. I killed a little kid. I killed a Baby Monster! Why did I do that? Why couldn't I stayed still awhile longer?
You needed to keep your own safe, Andri.
Oh Mother of Stars. I can not be dealing with that thought. I don't care, my people made an oath of piece. I will not be the one to break that oath. Mother of Stars should know that, right?
She wouldn't tell me to protect my people. My people can fend for themselves. We didn't live for eons just to be killed by these Monsters? No... The boy called his people Ministers. That must be what they are, they aren't what the Humans call them.
What would the Humans call my people then? No, I shouldn't think that, I should go recover the Little boy's body and take it to those... Those... My boss! Yes, take it's body to the Cheif. See if he knkws what to. No. Stop.
It's a dead child. You'd be punished for contaminating any evidence. Though it wouldn't, cause you were the one who killed the Kid!
"Ms. Kit." A deep voice says from behind me, I flinched, knowing who's voice that was. "Are you okay?"
I slowly look over my shoulder. My tears were still falling, my hold on the boy's heart tightening. My chest aching at the anxiety eating away at me. More tears blurred my vision, the sight of the old geezer wearin a vest barely hidden by a large leather jacket making me happy he was hear.
"Mr. Hoffmen," I sayed, the strain in my voice being sounding painful. "I'm sorry."
I don't know why I'm apologizing to him of all people. He probably just saw me kill the Kid. The kid didn't look like Monster, no. I was the monster at that moment. I killed a Little Boy, an Innocent Child!
"Breath, Andri," Hoffmen's voice was soft now, so close, I'm now scared. "You did good. You don't know it, but you did good killing that beast, boy."
"I'm a monster," was my reply, why was he praising me for killing the little boy. "Why are you praisin' me?"
"Cause you're not the monster right now," His voice was raspy, almost muffled, my face against his chest, socking the vest with my tears. "We been trying to catch that monster for a month now. I'm sorry you got caught by it, Andri."
"But Bernard," tears continued to fall down my cheeks, the warmth of his arms comforting me making it worse. "It was a Little boy."
"It was," was the soft answer, the feel of Hoffmen's thick and ruff fingers combing through my shoulder lengthed hair. "But it wasn't at the same time."
"I made a vow," I whispered, feeling my eyes drooping, making it hard for me to stay awake. "I think I broke it today... Mother of Stars made me break it."
"......." Silence. Hoffmen didn't respond this time. I guess... It's because I fell asleep.

This is all based off a dream I had. It will not update regularly, exactly like all of my other "dead" work on this proffile.
I'm not sorry that you're patient enough to check every full moon. Or whatever moon it is tonight. But, you can not hate on my for your impatient life.
So, goodnight, for now.
