Socks and Laff snuck out the door as quiet as they could, Laff accidentally stepped on a twig even though they aren't in the forest and it snapped. the humans checked out the sound and, eventually, one of the humans spotted them, they shouted,
"Look! There they are!"
"Quick! Get them!" Yelled the other human
"Uh oh, they spotted us! Run!" Socks yelled to Laff and they ran away.

-time skip-

Socks and Laff ran as fast as they could, away from the humans, Laff accidentally trips on a rock and falls down the ground. Socks quickly turned around and gave Laff a hand.
Soon, they lost the humans, Socks was sure that the humans gave up and stopped looking for Laff and him, but that wasn't the case because  A human suddenly spotted them, Socks and Laff looked worried when the human said.
"Found them!" He called out the others, pointing at the two ghouls.
The other humans came rushing towards them, Socks and Laff kept running away as far as possible again.
Laff was very tired, soon Socks and Laff were cornered.
"We've got you cornered, ghouls!" Said the human as the rest of the humans slowly approached them.
Everything seemed hopeless to Socks and Laff, until someone stabbed a human with sharp, red-ish blue tentacles in the head. The most of the humans were shocked, some backed up away from the figure and some of them retreated. But some of them tried to attack the figure, but all of them that attacked the figure failed and were immediately killed, so the rest of the humans ran away
Confused, Socks and Laff looked above them and they noticed a ghoul who looked like a kid, the ghoul had a purple top hat and is wearing a tuxedo. He climbed back down the wall where Socks and Laff are
"Psst...hey! Come with me!" Whispered the figure
And Socks and Laff followed the figure.
