"Nephew?" Iblis growled as she stood, a fire raging behind her as she glared at the green hedgehog, who only looked just as pissed, Mephilies looked between the two, he too was startled by this news, he didn't remember ever conceiving a child "You dare mock me?" 

"I'm only hear for my son" Scourge hissed, Zonic had stayed behind Scourge as he watched, as if seeing the energy that had begun to build up around Scourge before "And I'm not leaving until I do, after all your deal holds no power"

"Wha-" Silver had been cut off as vines wrapped around his ankle and dragged him down, he let out a scream of surprise, scourge quickly glanced over at the other, but that was a mistake as he was slammed to the ground by a wall of fire, he only hissed as he stood back up, the jacket he wore charred, yet he had no physical injuries 

"You never heard my end of what we were offering" Scourge growled as something ancient burnt on the ground underneath him, something cold and dark yet warm and bright, Iblis had frozen in her place as she stared at him, the vine dropped Silver and he landed with a thud, and no one could tear their eyes away from the green hedgehog

"What is it you offer" Iblis bared her teeth as the fire in her eyes never dulled

"We offer no involvement" Zonic spoke "No involvement in a war against you as long as our son remains safe and in our care"

"You can't-" Knuckles was cut off by Zonic who glared

"This only applies to me and my husband, their actions are their choice, me and Zonic will stay out of your way as long as we have Maurice"Scourge answered he remained looking at the goddess of destruction

"And how can I be sure you'll stick to your word?" Iblis hissed

"Why would I risk my sons life in a pointless battle like the one you had with Malice" Scourge growled, the female took a step back startled by his words

"How do you know of that?" She asked there was no anger or threat, only horror

"It does not matter, now where is my son?" Scourge growled, Iblis only growled lowly, her plan falling apart piece by piece, but it was only a matter of time until she reclaims what was hers, a smirk grew on her face as she locked eyes with Scourge once again

"If he leaves he will die" Mephilies spoke as his sister laughed softly as the black vines hidden by fog came crawling forward, many figures appeared wrapped in the vines, the ghostly leaves and the flowers filled with the misty black pollen 

"What the hell do you mean?" Shadow growled lowly

"that plant puts it's prisoners to sleep, they remain the same age as they were when they were first trapped... the pollen is what keeps them asleep and what poisons them... if someone was to escape, and find their way out of the forest, the moment they leave the pollen reacts with their lungs and begins to suffocate them..." Mephilies stated as Zonic met his gaze, knowing exactly what may happen, but looked back at the plant, yet the smirk on Ibli's face widened as the plant wrapped it's way around Zonic, his eyes widened as well as Scourge's who was then given the same treatment seconds later

"You'll have your son as per the deal, but neither of you are leaving" Iblis laughed "none of you are"

the vines suddenly spread out and attacked everyone, getting a firm grip around them, and then slowly flowers grew in front of them and intoxicated them with their pollen sealing their fate as everything went black
