After Mono and Six are in the town, they see every ordinary building, including people walking around the street, and then hide.

   When they went toward the ally to look for something, Six found the small empty paper bag, so she grabbed it and headed toward Mono.

Six: "Hey, Mono. Look what I found." *She showed a paper bag to him.*

Mono: "Wow. Thank you, Six."

Six: *She blushes a little.* "You're welcome."

   Mono makes an eye hole and then puts the paper bags on his head.

Mono: "There. What do you think?"

Six: *She smiled a little.* "You still looked great when I first met you, and you saved me from the hunter."

Mono: *He blushes under his paper bag and rubs the back of his head.* "Hehe. T-Thanks, Si-"

[Growls]

   They heard a growl, which made Mono and Six flinch. Slowly, they turned around and saw a bulldog from the corner looking at Mono and Six very angrily.

Six: *She's trembling in fear.* "M-M-M-Mono?"

Mono: "RUN!" *He grabs Six hands.*

   Mono and Six run from the bulldog as it chases after them.

   Mono looked around for something to slow it down; something caught his eye. He saw a bag full of the inside of a marble ball, so he grabbed it and threw all the marble out of the bag. While the marble rolled in the streets, the bulldog caught in the marble slipped through the roadway and crashed into the trash can.

[Crash]

[Bulldog Yelp]

Mono: *He looked through the Ally and saw a metal fence ahead.* "Quick this way."

   They ran towards the fence and started climbing as the bulldog came out of the trash can, growling furiously.

Mono: *He reaches the pole and reaches his hand toward Six.* "Six, hurry."

Six: *Few more climbs.* "I'm coming." *She reached as well.*

When they're about to grab each other, a bulldog suddenly rams the fence, making it move and causing Six to slip and fall.

Six: "AH!"

Mono: "SIX!"

Luckily, she landed in the trash bag.

Six: "Oof."

Bulldog: [Growls] *Getting close to her.*

Six: [Gasps] *She hurries back and stops by the wall.* [Wimpering]

   The bulldog was about to jump on Six. Then, all of a sudden, a Newfoundland dog came to the rescue and stood in front of the bulldog.

Newfoundland: *Look down at the Bulldog.* [Growls, Barking]

Bulldog: [Yelp] *It jumped and ran away.* [Wimpering]

Six: *She was surprised that the dog had saved her.* "Whoa."

    Newfoundland dog turns to her.

Six: [Gasps]

Newfoundland: *Bend down and take one sniff of her.* [Sniffing]

Six was scared that she was about to be eaten, then suddenly she got licked in surprise

Six: [Gasps] *Got licked even more.* [Giggles] "Okay, okay." [Giggles]

It stops licking her as Six wipes the drool off.

Six: "Thanks."

Mono: *He climbs down the fence, goes over to her, and hugs her.* "Six. Are you okay?"

Six: "I'm okay, Mono. Thanks to him."

Mono: *He looks at the big dog, slowly walks up to him, gently petting his nose.* "Thank you for saving her."

Newfoundland: [Bark Happily]

Mono: "What is your name?

Newfoundland: *He looks down sad.*

Mono: *He looked at him confused, then he realized.* "You don't have a name, didn't you?"

Newfoundland: *Shook his head slowly.*

Mono: *He thinks of the name, and he finds one.* "Hey, how about Hunter."

Newfoundland: *His head perks up.*

Six: "Hunter. I like it."

Mono: "Me too." *To Hunter.* "What do you think, Hunter?"

   Hunter is happy to get a name; suddenly, Mono is licked by surprise, causing him to lift in the air like a paper bag falling out of his head as Six catches it.

Mono: *He landed safely, covered by slobber.* "Ugh."

Six: *She tried to hold off the laughter but couldn't.* [Snickering, Laughing]

Mono tried to wipe the drool off and then heard Six laughing at him; he was going to admit it was funny, so he joined in as Hunter howled happily.

𝔸 𝕝𝕚𝕥𝕥𝕝𝕖 𝕋𝕚𝕞𝕖-𝕤𝕜𝕚𝕡

  Everyone was walking and chatting on the street, and then Hunter was walking around, along with Mono and Six hidden inside his fur.

It's Mono idea to hide Six and himself inside that large fur.

Six: *Holding onto his fur.* "Great idea, Mono."

Mono: "Thanks. Now we won't be seen from the street, right Hunter?" *He patted his stomach.*

Hunter: [Bark]

[Bell Ring]

They heard a School bell; Hunter quickly hid behind the bush.

Mono: *He comes out of the fur, confused.* "Why are we hiding?"

Hunter: *He uses his paw and points behind the bushes.*

Mono and Six look at each other, confused. Then they spread the leaf through the bushes, and Newfoundland followed. Mono and Six popped out of the bushes, and their eyes went wide to see a teenager come out of the building for the first time.

Six: "Wow. A teenager."

Mono: "I haven't seen them since..." *He doesn't have to finish the sentence.*

Six: *She knows what he's talking about and looks down sadly.* "I know. I wish our world are back to normal."

Mono: "Me too."

While they continue to watch them, a group of teenagers comes their way, three behind the bushes.

Teenagers: "Hey, Vince. Now that we have the last school day, what will you do for Summer?"

   Mono and Six peeked through the bushes and listened to their conversation.

Vince: "Well, I'll do the car racing for the whole summer. But first..." *He glances over to the 12-year-old.* "I gonna take little nerd glasses and see if he's crying for his mommy." *He's heading toward him.*

Six: *She worries about the young boy.* "Mono, what are we gonna do?"

Mono: *He thinks of something and sees an old skateboard.* [Finger Snap] "I got it. Six, help me flip this thing."

After they flipped the skateboard, mono moved the tip to aim at Vince.

Vince: "Hey, Nerd."

Boy 1: [Gasps] *He turned around with a familiar voice and backed away from him.* "Vince, what do you want?"

Vince: "I'm going to take your little glasses away."

Then, two teenagers step between them.

Teenage Boy: "Hey! Leave him alone, Vince."

Teenage Girl: "Yeah. We can't let you bully our friends."

Vince: "Oh, yeah. And what are you going to do about it, Los-"

  Out of nowhere, a skateboard caught on Vince's feet by surprise.

Vince: "Whoa! Help! I can't control it!"

Everyone looked at him and started laughing at him, and some recorded the video. Vince rolled out of control because he didn't know how to skateboard.

𝕋𝕠 𝕄𝕠𝕟𝕠, 𝕊𝕚𝕩, 𝕒𝕟𝕕 ℍ𝕦𝕟𝕥𝕖𝕣

The Trio continues watching Vince rolling around the school until--

[CRASH]

They cringed at hearing that, then saw Vince on the ground, covered by the trash, with a banana peel on his head, which made everyone laugh more as they took a picture of him.

Six: [Giggles]

Mono: "Huh? Not what I had in mind, but this will do."

Hunter: [Bark]

Six: "Well, at least his friends are defending him."

Mono: "Yes, yes, it is. Come on. We must go before everyone thinks why that thing moved on its own."

Six: "You're right. Let's go."

   Mono and Six climb on Hunter and hide under his fur as Hunter runs away without being seen.

After what happened, the trio keeps watching in surprise while everyone laughs at Vince.

Teenage boy: "What just happened?"

Boy: "I don't know."

Teenage Girl: "Whatever it is, because it was Awesome."

Teenage boy: *He is concerned about his friend.* "Are you alright, Raf?"

Raf: "I'm alright, Jack. Thanks for sticking up for me and you two, Miko."

Miko: "Well, we couldn't let him bully you. But you won't be worried about him because today is the last day of school."

Jack: "I'm just surprised you passed all the tests."

Miko: "Well, I couldn't be stuck in summer school again, but I can't miss everything this time."

Jack: "Hmm. Good point."

[Beeping]

   They turned and saw their ride.

Jack: "Our rides are here. Let's go."

Each of them hops in the vehicle and drives away.

𝟚 𝕙𝕠𝕦𝕣𝕤 𝕝𝕒𝕥𝕖𝕣

Hunter walks through the street until he gets out of town.

    While he's walking, Mono and Six are riding on his back.

Mono: "Hey, Hunter, where are you taking us?"

Hunter: *He stopped and pointed.*

   Both kids look ahead and see an old mansion in the middle of nowhere, abandoned in 20 years, along with a wrecking ball crane.

Mono & Six: *Stared at the mansion in awe.* "Whoa."

   Hunter lies down as Mono and Six hop off.

Six: "Hunter, is this where you live?"

    Hunter nodded.

Mono: "Hmm. You just found this place and stay here."

    Hunter nodded again.

Mono: "Didn't you check if the door was open?"

Hunter: *He shook his head, no.*

Mono: "Hmm. Maybe we'll check it out!"

   Without even noticing, The screen showed that someone or something was watching them with the grey Shape.

   When they reach the front door, Mono pushes it, which opens slightly but then stops.

Mono: [Grunting] "Something stuck." *To Hunter and Six.* "Hunter. Six. I need your help with the door."

Six: "Okay."

Hunter: [Barks]

While it continues watching, it starts to move fast with clicking sounds, climbs up the wall, and protects them from above.

Mono: "On the count to three. We'll push together. Are you guys ready?"

Six ＆ Hunter: "Ready." [Barks]

Mono: "Okay, on count to three. One. Two. Three. Push."

They started pushing, and suddenly, the door opened by surprise, causing everyone except Hunter to fall.

Mono: "Ow."

Six: "Well, at least the door is open."

Mono: "Yeah." *He got up, cleaned himself up, and held his hand to Six.* "Here, let me help you."

Six: *She grabs his hand.* "Thanks."

Mono: "Well, know we are in. Let's look around."

Six: "Okay."

They went inside the mansion as the small shadowing figure followed behind them.

The Trio walked through the hallway; they checked every room and found a large bed they would be sleeping in. After that, they made it to the last door. When they open the door, the room reveals a garage.

Mono & Six: "Wow."

Six: "What is this place?"

Mono: "I don't know. But we could find something useful here. Like this one." *He went over and found an old flashlight.* "Please, be working."

He presses the button, and surprisingly, it turns on.

Mono: "Yes. It's still working."

Hunter: *He smells around the old box, then lands on the dust.* [Sneezes] *Causes more dust to float around and starts to sneeze more.* [Sneeze, Sneezes]

Six: *She watched Hunter sneeze a lot.* [Giggles] *She peeks inside the box and finds a hard hat with a Flashlight and a lighter for herself, so she puts the lights up and goes to Mono.* "Mono, look what I found."

Mono: *He grabs it from Six and examines it.* "Whoa. A new hat." *He notices the trim button.* "Hey, what does this button do?"

Six: "I don't know."

Without hesitation, he presses the button as the light turns on, which surprises both kids.

Mono: "Cool. It will come in handy. Thanks."

Six: [Giggles] "You're welcome, Mono."

   The figure watched Mono put away the hard hat, then ran away and hid somewhere. While Hunter stops sneezing, his ear perks up, and he looks in the direction where that noise is. He starts growling as Mono and Six notice it.

Mono: "Hunter, what is it?"

[Clinking]

Mono & Six: [Gasps]

   Mono turns on the flashlight and points it to where the noise originates.

Mono: "Hello. Somebody here?"

[Clattering]

They heard a noise; Mono's flashlight landed on the toolbox, moved a little, and fell as the tools clattered around the floor.

[Clangs]

Mono & Six: "Aah!"

Hunter: *He stands in front of them.* [Growls]

The shadow figure with the clinking sound rushes past them, causing Mono's flashlight to look in that direction. Then, it does the same thing as they look in the other direction.

   While Mono looked around, he heard a sound as his flashlight landed on one of the boxes. It shook and stopped moving for a second, which caused Hunter to bark and run toward it.

Mono: "Hunter, wait!"

Hunter rams it, causing all the boxes to fall toward the children. Mono grabs Six and quickly moves out of the way before they get squished.

Mono & Six: *Hits the ground.* [Grunting]

   All the boxes hit the ground, covering their sight. When the dust is clear, both children lift their heads and see all the boxes scattered around, and one of the boxes almost squashes Mono and Six.

Mono: "Six. Are you okay?"

Six: "I'm okay, Mono."

Mono: *He looked at the pile of boxes.* "You okay in there, Hunter?"

Hunter: *He comes out of the pile unharmed with an empty box on his head.* [Panting Happily, Barks] *He shook the box off and climbed out.*

Mono: "Well, at least no one is hurt."

[Items Clattering]

Mono & Six: [Gasps]

They look over and see the boxes moved and something coming toward them. Hunter is still growling.

Mono: *He saw the hammer; he grabbed it and was ready for the defense.* "Get behind me."

Six: *He hid behind him.*

   Something is getting closer and closer.

Mono: *He lifts the hammer to smash it.* "AAAH!"

   Then, a little metal creature emerges from the box with an adorable look, causing Mono to stop the hammer swing mid-air.

Mono: *Started to go unbalanced.* "Whoa. Whoa." *He tried to hold the hammer as much as he could.*

That swung hammer scared the little creature, and he ran inside the box. After that, the hammer fell, and he brought it with him.

Mono: "WHOA!"

[CRASH]

Mono: "Ow."

Six & Hunter: *They wince to see that.* "Oh." [Whines]

Six: "Mono, are you okay?

Mono: *His hand pops out of the item, giving a thumbs up, showing them that he's okay.* "I'm good." *He crawls out of there as his head pops out of the items.* "No harm feeling."

A ball hit his head.

[Bonks]

Mono: "Ow."

Six: [Giggles] *She notices the creature emerges from hiding and looks at her.* "Oh, hello."

   It tilts its head in curiosity.

Six: "My name is Six. That my friend Mono."

Mono: "Hey, there. Sorry, I scared you with the hammer. I thought a monster was trying to get us."

   The little creatures understand; they go to Mono and nudge him to accept the apology.

Mono: [Chuckles] "Oh, that big guy is Hunter. Sorry about him. He's very protective if any of us is in danger."

   It understands as well.

Mono: "Now that you know our name. What's yours?"

   The creature stares at the trio for a second.

Six: "You can't speak, huh?"

   It shook its head no.

Mono: "Hmm. I got it. When we answer your question, jump once for yes and twice for no. You understand?"

   It nodded.

Mono: "Okay. Uh, you have a name, right?"

   It jumps once.

Mono: "Cool. Uh, is it Marty?"

   It jumped twice.

Six: "Kenny?"

   It repeats.

Mono: "Pete?"

   It repeated one more time.

   They are still trying to decide on a name until six answers.

Six: "Oh, is it Screwy?"

   It jumps once.

Mono: "That your name?"

It jumped once more.

Six: "Aww. That's a cute name."

Mono: "Next question, did you live here?"

Screwy jumped twice.

Mono: "You just wandering around and found this place?"

   Screwy jump once.

Mono: "Cool. Well, at least you and your friends found a place to stay and..."

Mono stops and notices Screwy looking down sad.

Mono: "Oh, y-you don't have a friend?"

Screwy shook his head.

Mono: "You all alone?"

Screwy nods his head, and he looks down.

Six: "Oh." *She went over and hugged him.* "Poor thing."

   Mono thought off something for a minute, and then he had an idea.

Mono: "Hey, I got it. How about you could stick with us."

   Screwy looks at Mono in surprise.

Mono: "Well, we couldn't leave our new friend alone in this place. So, what do you think?"

   Screwy jumps up and down with joy for having a new friend until it gets licked by surprise, causing him to jump, and he looks at Hunter, who's been licking him as his tail starts wagging and barks happily.

Mono: [Laughing] "I think Hunter likes the idea of a new friend."

   Hunter and Screwy started playing chase each other, and Mono and Six watched them as they laughed.

𝔸 𝕝𝕚𝕥𝕥𝕝𝕖 𝕋𝕚𝕞𝕖-𝕊𝕜𝕚𝕡𝕡𝕖𝕕

All four of them went to the bedroom and lay on the very comfy bed when it was night. Both Hunter and Screwy were already asleep, while Mono and Six were still up thinking.

Six: "What are we going to do now, Mono?"

Mono: "We must grab something and leave the mansion tomorrow morning. And find some food for us."

Six: "What about Screwy? What did he eat?"

Mono: "I don't know, but we'll find out when he eats."

Six: "Okay."

Mono: "Don't worry, Six. Whatever we survived through the Pale City, including the monster we faced. And now that thing brought us here for no reason, and we are in a safe place with two new friends. As long as we are together, everything is going to be okay. I promise."

Six: *She smiles.* "Yeah, you're right." [Yawns] *She snuggled with him.* "Goodnight, Mono."

Mono: *He smiles and hugs her.* "Goodnight, Six."

Mono slept as he protected her and hoped everything would be okay.
