Sakura P.O.V

I was heading to Uncle Pigsy's shop for award ceremony for MK from the mayor, though I was surprised because I didn't even know we have a mayor. While walking, I felt cold chills down my spine along with some whispers

"I'm almost here..."

"Be ready to perish"

I felt spooked out from those whispers, so I decided to run to Uncle Pigsy's shop. When I finally reached the shop, I stopped running to catch my breath

'What was that whisper all about? Why do I feel scared?' I thought to myself, and I heard someone calling to me

"Excuse me miss. Are you alright?" I looked up and saw a man who I'm guessing is the mayor

"I'm alright. I thought I was going to be late for the ceremony" I said and he handed me a bottle of water and I accepted it

"Once you feel better, come inside and the ceremony will begin" The mayor said as he entered Uncle Pigsy's shop

'I don't think he's the mayor of the city. Something about him is... off' I thought to myself as I entered the shop, took a seat next to Uncle Tang and the mayor started to talk with MK next to him

"Thank you for this amazing turnout!" The mayor started out, while Mei did all the cheering since we're the only ones who came "As Mayor, I hereby give Monkie Kid the key to our fair city!" The mayor said as stood in front of MK and handed him the skeleton looking key. When MK got the key, his eyes glowed blue for a quick minute and looked at the mayor with a confused look

"Um... What does this key do exactly?" MK asked and the mayor smiled

"Oh, you'll love this. It has the power to open anything!" The mayor said with the same smile but creepily

"Ooh! Anything? Like a pet shop full of puppies?" Mei asked with stars and glitter surrounding her

"Yes! Or the door to the lion's cage, or an orphan's piggy bank, an imprisoned mystic power source... or whatever you like!" The mayor said, making me uneasy about what he said "Today, you can do no wrong. You got my permission. Cause... I'm the mayor!" The mayor laughed and disappeared in smoke

'Even though he's gone, I still have that uneasy feeling...' I was thinking to myself, and I someone tap my shoulder

"Hey Sakura! Wanna go to different places with the key?" MK asked, and I declined

"No thank you MK. I actually have something planned today, so maybe some other time" I said as I left the shop

'I need to check on how they been doing' I said as I started walking towards the mountains

Small time skip~

After walking up the mountain, I made it to a clearing where I always go to clear my head and I called out some names

"Ember! Rocky! Aqua! Sky! I'm back!" I called out their names, and I heard rustling noise coming from the bushes. I walked close towards the bushes, and something jumped on me

"Ah!" I fell on the ground, and I was getting licked by baby dragons

"Ah! C'mon guys! Stop that! Ahaha!" I laughed while pleading the baby dragons to stop licking me, after a couple of seconds they stopped "Geez, you guys need to stop hiding me" I said as hugged them one by one. I took off my small backpack, and the baby dragons look excited cause they know I have brought treats and toys

"Calm down you four. I need time to pull them out" I said and they finally settled down. I took out a couple of toys for the babies to play with, there's a tung a war ropes bouncy balls, chew toys, and a couple of mouse toys. The baby dragons look very excited, but they stayed where they are.

"Okay, now you guys can play" I said and the baby dragons charged towards the toys. Ember and Sky were playing with the tung a war rope, Rocky was playing with a bouncy ball, and Aqua was chewing on the chew toys 'Looks like she's teething' I love seeing Ember, Aqua, Rocky and Sky playing, it's so cute

I grabbed my backpack and pulled out the treats, I shook the bag to gain their attention, they rushed towards me with their tails wagging

'So cute!' I squealed at their cuteness, and I took out four pieces of treats 

"Stay" The babies stood still

"Shake" I took out my hand without the treats, they each put their clawed hand on mine

"Roll over" The babies roll over and had fun doing it, and I couldn't help but laugh a little

"Alright! Here are your treats!" I threw the treats in the air, and they flew up and ate their treats happily. They flew back down, and cuddled into a pile for bedtime. I noticed the sun was about to set already

"Bedtime already huh?" I walked towards the babies, and patted their heads "I better started leaving, knowing MK and Mei, they'll most likely do something stupid" I picked up my backpack and looked at the babies one more time before I leave.

Another small-time skip~

Once I got back to the city, the city lights started to turn on and I heard my phone ringing from my pocket, I pulled out my phone and saw MK's name

"Hey MK, what's up?"

"Uh.... Sakura...? I have a favor to ask you?" MK asked sounding nervous

"What is it?"

"Can I... Stay at your place for a bit?" MK asked

"Huh? Did something at your apartment?"

"Well... Red Son came and destroyed my entire room" MK said

"Huh?! Why?!" I said sounding shocked

"He was after the key, Mei and I went after him, we managed to get it back, but his mom came and kicked our butts and they took the key!" MK said

"I see. Alright. You can stay the night at my place MK" I said

"Really! Thank you so much Sakura! I promise I'll make it up to you!" MK said and hanged up the phone

'I better send him my address cause I know he forgot to ask' I typed in my address and sent MK my address 'I better start heading home. I need to prepare some blankets and pillows for MK when he gets to my place' I ran to my apartment

After a bit of running, I saw MK already waiting

'How did...? Wait, nevermind. I always keep forgetting he has the Monkey King's staff' I thought to myself

"Hey MK! Sorry if I made you wait" I said as I walked towards him, and suddenly I felt a very cold chill running down my spine 'What was that coldness just now?' 

"Hey Sakura, you feeling alright?" MK asked me looking worried

"I'm alright. I just felt chill, that's all" I said

"Well, let's head inside then. I don't want Pigsy, Mr. Tang and Sandy worrying if you got sick" MK said as we started walking inside my apartment

"Haha. That's true" I laughed, but I couldn't stop thinking about chilly sensation I just felt

'Just... what is that?'
