Sakura P.O.V

I was walking through the city, looking at all of the decorations for New Years, parade floats are getting set up, and performers putting on their costumes and make-up. I am also wearing my New Year clothes for the occasion

'Man, this year has been a crazy one. I hope next year will be better' I thought to myself, and I felt my phone vibrate in my pocket. I looked at my phone and I have a message from Uncle Pigsy

"Sakura sweetie, can you come to the food truck please? I need your help" Uncle Pigsy's message says

"I'll be there in a few minutes" I replied, and ran to Uncle Pigsy's food truck

After a bit of running, I saw Mei trying to wrap the dumplings, but failed

'I'm guessing MK is with Monkey King still. I hope Uncle Pigsy doesn't fire him' I thought to myself as I walked to the food truck

"Hey Uncle Pigsy, Uncle Tang, Mei. Happy New Year!" I said with a smile

"Sakura! Happy New Year!" Mei jumped through the opening of the truck and tackled me into a hug

"M-Mei... I can't... breath..." I said and I felt my soul leave my body

"Mei! Let go of Sakura!" Uncle Tang said as he tried to remove Mei from me

"Whoops. My bad. Sorry bout that Sakura" Mei apologized

"It's fine" I said, trying to regain my breath

"Sakura, can you help me wrap the dumplings?" Uncle Pigsy asked, I nodded and entered the food truck. I fixed the ones that Mei poorly wrapped and started wrapping more dumplings, since I grew up in a restaurant, I can wrap the dumplings quite quickly, and finally after a minute I finally finished

"Thank you so much Sakura! You're a life savior!" Uncle Pigsy said as he hugged me

"You're welcome, Uncle Pigsy" I said as I hugged him back

Then, I saw a huge mountain of goodies and we were buried under the goodies

"Good share and happy new year! Look at these delicious little goodies, I got enough to share" Uncle Sandy said as took me out from the pile and hugged me "Happy New Year sweetie!"

"Happy New Year to you too, Uncle Sandy!" I said, after Uncle Sandy hugged me, he put me down and handed me a cute plushie of a bunny 'Aw! So cute!'

Uncle Sandy asked where MK is, and Uncle Pigsy got upset telling everyone to go mess around somewhere else

"I'm gonna walk around a bit more, I'll be back before the parade starts" I said as I started walking again

Spider Queen P.O.V

I can hear the humans having fun for New Years, I gritted my teeth in anger

"Ugh! Yeah, keep laughing! Oh, just til you see what I've got cooking! Then, you'll have something to celebrate!" I opened my palm to reveal only one piece of hair left from Monkie Kid "Only one hair left. Haha. This little piece of that monkey kid holds all the power I need. You finished tinkerin yet?" I looked at the scientist who I kidnapped a long time ago after monkey kid and his friends escaped along with my future daughter

"I have constructed what you asked for, the delivery systems are operational, so long as the venom works" The scientist named Syntax said with a cocky smile and that made my blood boil. I went behind him and glared at him

"The venom will work" I said with an intimated voice, I walked to toward the geyser pit and drop the last piece of hair. A spider drone popped out, but later exploded "No! No! NO! I am the Queen! I am meant to rule this world! Not hide beneath it!" I was to attack Syntax, but stopped myself "It can't be over..." I looked down sadly

"It doesn't have to be" A voice said out of nowhere

"Who...! Who said that?! Show yourself!" I demanded and coming out from the shadows was a little girl

"My apologies. I just thought I'll be of service" The little girl said

"Service huh? Who are you?!" I asked in a demanded tone

"I am merely someone who thinks the Great Spider Queen has been absent from her throne too long. I believe once you rise, a thing even the celestial host cannot achieve will be inevitable. The final destruction of the Monkey King" The little girl said and I pointed my spider leg at her, she didn't even flinch

"Well don't you have a sweet way of talking. Monkey King tore me from my throne, took everything that I had! What makes you think it's so easy?!" I demanded an answer

"I thought maybe we can use this" The little girl moved her hand to reveal a vial that I haven't seen for a long time

"My, my, my. I haven't one of these in a while" I looked at the little girl with a suspicious look

"May I?" She asked and moved my spider leg away from her, she walked towards the geyser and added the substance. The color changed into a blue color; a spider drone popped out again but this time it didn't explode

"Well, well, well. Looks like you have some uses after all. Let's give it a spin" I smirked and looked at Syntax

"Wait! No! I helped you! You need me!" Syntax said with fear as he backed away, my spider drone lunged at him and injected him with the venom. After a couple of seconds, Syntax has turned into a spider demon and he's under my control

"My Queen" Syntax bowed

"Now that's more like it! Okay, little miss mystery, what's the catch?" I said as I looked at her

"I simply wish to see you fulfill your destiny, my queen" The little girl said as she bowed to me

"Well, alright then!" More of my spider drones popped out and I begin to laugh

'Now, victory will be mine! And I'll finally get to have my future daughter now!' I thought to myself

"Before we go above, I have a mission for you two including Syntax" I looked at my three spider demons and showed them a picture "If you see this girl, bring her to me! I want to be the one who gets turn her into one of us"

"Who is she, my queen?"

"She's going to be my new daughter and future princess of the Spider Demons!" I said and they bowed at my order, while I noticed the little girl glaring at the picture

"Got a problem or something?" I asked while lifting an eyebrow up

"It's nothing my queen" The little girl said

'I better keep a close eye on that little girl' I thought to myself as I glanced at the girl

Sakura P.O.V

I was walking around downtown, and I received message from MK saying that he's staying with Monkey King for New Years, I didn't mind it though

'Maybe Mk should invite Monkey King next year for New Years' I thought to myself, and I caught the smell of something spicy. I decided to follow the smell and there I saw a stall that sells spicy food. I walked closer to the stall, and I saw Red Son cooking

"Red Son?" I called out his name, he looked up from cooking, and became flustered

"C-C-C-Cherry B-B-B-B-B-Blossom!" Red Son shouted my name

"I didn't know you'll be here today, and I didn't know you can cook too" I said looking surprised

"Care to try one daughter in law?" DBK asked as he handed me a spicy kabob, I accepted the kabob, and I took a bite. My eyes widen and Red Son looked at me with a worried look

"Red Son... This is... Amazing!" I said with stars in my eyes

"Y-You really mean it? Isn't too spicy for you?" Red Son asked and shook my head

"Nope. Just right amount of spice" I said as I took another bite "I think I love spicy foods now"

Red Son P.O.V

"I think I love spicy foods now" My cherry blossom said with such a cute smile

'I love her even more now' I thought to myself, and I noticed my father calling me over

"What is it father?" I whispered

"You made the right choice on choosing her as your fiancé" My father said and I felt flames bursting from my head

"Ah! Red Son! You're gonna burn down your stall if you keep doing that!" I heard cherry blossom say as she tried to make sure the fire doesn't spread. She's even cuter for trying to stop my flames. So, I made my flames vanish with a snap of my fingers

"Ah! I forgot you can make your flames disappear like that" My cherry blossom said with a look of realization about my power

"Sigh... You're too cute my cherry blossom" I said out loud, I covered my mouth and her face burned red

"Um... Ah... T-T-Thanks..." My cherry blossom said with a flustered look

"Ahem! So, cherry blossom, uh... Happy New Year" I said with a flustered look

"Happy New Year to you too Red Son... Happy New Year DBK" My cherry blossom said to me and my father

Then, I heard screaming, the peasants were running away but from what? Something removed part of our stall, and a web wrapped around father. He broke free the first time, but the web wrapped itself on father and took him away

"Father!" Then I heard my cherry blossom scream

"Aaahhh! No! Get off me!" A spider was on my cherry blossom, and it looked like it was trying to inject her with something. I rushed to her to save her, I punched the spider and destroyed, and it left a small canister behind containing some type of venom, must be the spider's venom. I grabbed my cherry blossom's hand and rushed to my motorbike

"We need to get out of here and quickly! Hop on cherry blossom!" My cherry blossom hopped on my motorbike, and I started up my bike

'Forgive me father. I promise, I'll be back' I thought as we took off

Guys! This story has a chance to enter the Watty 2022! I was surprised when I received the notice when I was about to write, I'm thinking of applying my story for the competition. When I enter, I hope you guys wish me luck! Also, I know I said I was supposed to take a break, but I guess my brain is too excited, so I decided to continue to write. Hope you guys like it so far
