MK P.O.V

Iris jumped into the waters, and grabs the alligator by the neck. Iris gave the alligator a death glare, and it quickly let go of Tang. Then Iris threw the alligator across the swampy forest.

After that, Mei started bandaging up Tang

"Dang, I had a really good feeling about this chapter! I mean pigs love mud puddles" I said

"And snuffling for truffles" Mei said as she placed her elbow on Tang's head, and Tang swatted her elbow away

"That's it! This Tang has had it! We've been through a bajillion chapters from Monkey King's Journey to the West and I feel like we're no closer to finding Pigsy, Sandy, Sakura or Monkey King. I'm tired, my feet hurt, and I've had this thing attached to me since we've been to that chapter with the snake village!" Tang said as he revealed his arm with the snake still biting. Iris walked towards him and yanked the snake off of his arm and threw it across the forest

"Maybe stop whining first, it's pretty annoying" Iris said, and Tang looked hurt at her comment

"Bah, don't be like that Mr. Tang. It wasn't so bad. Those snake lady demons were actually pretty friendly" I said

"They tried to eat me!" Tang yelled

"It's not our fault you look so sweet" Mei said

"Ugh. I just wish we can find our friends and my niece, and go home" Tang said, I sat beside him

"Okay, so I'm totally hearing your concerns and look, I get it. Learning to use your new powers is hard. Trust me, Sakura and I know. I just think that maybe... And don't be offended by what I'm about to say, maybe if you spent a little less time complaining and a little more thinky thinking, then we might have found our friends by now? Maybe?" I said

"Hey! I'm following these vague instructions from this mysterious Azure Lion perfectly! We should have found someone by now. What did Azure Lion tell you exactly?" Tang asked

Flashback to yesterday in the alleyway

"And you believe your friend is mystically powerful, comparable to the Great Monk Tang Sanzang?" Azure Lion asked as he was writing down the instructions

"Yeah! I mean probably" I said sounding a bit unsure

""Well, if he learned in the mystical martial arts, than these instructions should suffice. It's fairly advanced, but it was said by the Great Monk had the ability of sight beyond sight" Azure Lion said (I laughed at that part because it reminded of the Thudercats I used to watch)

"What?" I looked confused

"He's saying the Great Monk can see the past like he was there" Iris said as Azure Lion handed me the instructions

"Exactly. If your bonds of friendship are strong, then you will always find your way back to one another" Azure Lion said

Flashback end

"And that's it" I said

"What? But... But I'm not learned in the mystic arts. I'm a cram before the exam kinda guy. I can't really even use my powers when I want to" Tang said

"Well, might wanna get cramming then, cram boy. Eh?" Mei said and Tang glared, and started to walk away

"Hey! Where do you think you're going young man?!" I shouted

"To get cramming, apparently!" Tang shouted back and leaves

"He needs to stop being a baby" Iris said

"Iris!" Both Mei and I shouted at her

"What? I'm right, aren't I?"

"We should probably following, right?" I asked

"Oh, hundred percent" Mei said

"Whatever" Iris said, and we started running to catch up with Mr. Tang

Sakura P.O.V In the Mindscape (Might be a short one)

What happened...? I remember pushing both MK and Mei away from the attack from those ink copies... But I can't remember what happened next...

"It'll be okay" A voice said

"Huh? Who are you?" I said

"You'll meet me soon, but for now sleep until they arrive" The voice said

"Wait... Tell me... Who... Are you...?" I asked, but the voice never answered back

Then I suddenly fell asleep

No One P.O.V in the Swampy woods

Tang was walking alone in the wood

"If your bonds of friendship is strong, then you'll always find your way back to one another! Here... Comes... Tangy Kid!" Tang said, and a small cicada appeared in front of him, flying "Ugh, that's not I was trying to do! Oh stupid powers... I would never get the hang of this" Then Tang sighed "Oh, Pigsy, where are you?"

Then he got caught in a trap

"Sigh... I should've seen this coming" Then a something appeared in front of him "Mei? MK? Iris? I sure hope it's you guys" Tang started to laugh nervously, then the demon knocked him out

After that, Tang woke up, in a pot full of green liquid, tentacle, some other stuff and a demon skull

"Wah!? Where am I?!" Tang shouted in fear, then he saw a pair of familiar pig ears "Oh, Pigsy! I've never been happier in my life to-" Tang stopped himself when he notices that it's not the same Pigsy that he know

"Pigsy? Yeah, real original monk. You're in the presence of none other Zhu Ganglie! Celestial swine and the greatest chef in all in Chang'an!" Zhu Ganglie said, then the window opened up to reveal a demon with two heads

"Oi! You open yet?" The demon asked, and Zhu Ganglie threw his butcher's knife at them, but misses and walks towards the window

"Zhu Ganglie... Monkey King's piggy companion! If we're really connected to the ancient warriors through our past lives, then maybe Pigsy is still inside this big hog waiting to be awaken!" Tang said to himself as he was searching for his staff, luckily he found it "Oh, if I could just reach my gold jaggly stick!" Tang tried to free himself

"What?!" Zhu Ganglie yelled at the two headed demon

"Ay... Uh... How's it going in there? Cause me and the boys are getting pretty hungry..."

"Dinner will be served when I say it'll be served!" Zhu Ganglie said

"So... Call it a soft 5?" The two headed demon asked, and Zhu Ganglie shut the window door in their faces

"Oh, dinner, you say? I'm famished. What's on the menu?" Tang asked, and Zhu Ganglie grinned at Tang, and Tang soon realized that he's dinner

With MK, Mei and Iris - Outside of Zhu Ganglie's shop

The three are hiding behind some boulders, and they overheard a demon talking about monk meat

"So, monk meat means Tang meat, right?" MK asked

"Duh" Iris said

"I'm telling ya, it's cause the guy looks so sweet" Mei said "Okay! So, looks like... Yep, yep, yep, everyone in this town is definitely a demon" Iris rolled her eyes

"Oh geez, Mei, what gave that away?" Iris asked sarcastically

"H-How are we gonna sneak past them and save Tang?" Mei asked

"I'll use my most powerful ability of all! Creativity" MK said, and Mei was in awe. MK gathered some sticks, moss, and leafs

After MK and Mei put on their disguises, they noticed Iris not in disguise

"Hey, Iris, how come you're not in disguise?" MK asked

"Did you guys not notice my fox ears and tail? I don't need a disguise" Iris said

"Oh yeah" Both MK and Mei said

While MK and Mei tried sneaking through the line, the male demons were staring at Iris

"Hey, beautiful~" A male demon approached Iris, and she didn't give him a side glance

"Not interested" Iris bluntly said

"Come on, don't play hard to get~" The male demon said as he was about to wrap his arm Iris's shoulder. But she quickly grabbed his wrist, and threw him into the sky. Then she glared at the other male demons

"If you guys don't wanna end up like him, then I suggest you don't get any ideas" Iris said her glare didn't leave, and she heard MK and Mei's grunts when they fell on the ground. Iris walks towards the duo "Let me guess, no cutsies?" Iris asked, but she already knew the answer

"Yeah..." MK said

"Why not use that chimney?" Iris pointed

"I've never missed a meal before. I'm not gonna start now

With Zhu Ganglie and Tang

"Pig-! I mean Zhu Ganglie! I'm your Tangy! You have to remember!" Tang said

"Tangy, huh? Meh, it's okay. We'll boil you up" Zhu Ganglie said as he threw a frog but misses the pot

"W-Wait! I-I mean sure... You could just boil me, but I have sampled delicacies in East to West, and though you truly are a chef of uh..." Tang looked at the mess and tries his best not throwing up "Great renowned. There is one greater still!"

"Oh, yeah? And who that might be?" Zhu Ganglie asked sounding interested

"A swine not like yourself. He's a culinary genius who's skills unrivaled to none. He walks through this mortal plane with one soul purpose! To follow the code!" Tang said

"Woah. Wait a minute, what code?" Zhu Ganglie asked

"The Chef's Code! Always leave your customer's satisfied! I have devoted my life to this man, and had observed his culinary wisdom. Allow me to share this knowledge with you, and make you truly the greatest chef in all of China!" Tang said

"Hm. Alright then. It's a deal. And afterwards... I get to eat you" Zhu Ganglie said

"Sigh... Sure. Let's go with that" Tang said

Zhu Ganglie was following the directions that Tang gave him, and after doing everything, Zhu Ganglie added the broth into the noodles

"There. Now all that's left is the taste test" Tang said

"So, you really think this will make me the greatest chef in China?" Zhu Ganglie asked

"May my life depend on it" Tang said

Zhu Ganglie scooped up some of the broth into his spoon and took a sip. Once he got the taste, images flashed through his mind. Memories he shared with his friends and niece, cooking in the competition, MK helping him make the noodles, Tang trying to steal his noodles from his bowl, giving a bowl of noodles to MK from his childhood and his favorite memory of all, when he and little Sakura first started baking together and adding sweets to the menu. Once the memories finished flowing into his mind, Zhu Ganglie's body was surrounded in a pink glow, and Zhu Ganglie is back as Pigsy

"Huh? Tang?!" Pigsy was shocked to see Tang tied up, and Tang's eyes welled up in tears

"Pigsy!" Tang tackled Pigsy to the ground and nuzzled against his cheek "Oh, I'm so happy you're back!"

"Oh, Tang. I'm so sorry that I was about to cook ya. Badly... So badly" Pigsy apologized and Tang nuzzled against his cheek again

Then suddenly the roof broke, and both MK and Mei fell to the floor while Iris jumped down

"Oh! Hi Piggy! I didn't know you were here" Mei said

"Uh, guys... We got a problem" MK pointed at the demons breaking in

"Oi! We're sick of waiting, swine! We want that sweet, sweet, monk meat!" The two headed demon shouted, and MK picked up the knocked out Tang while Mei breaks down the wall using herself

"Yo, there's a back door. LEGGO!" Mei said

"Pigsy, come on!" MK called out to Pigsy

"No. I can't leave yet. It's the code" Pigsy said

"Code? What code?" Mei asked

"The Chef's Code; Always leave your customer's satisfied" Pigsy said as he grabbed his rake

"What?!/You're kidding me, right?!" Both Mei and MK said in unison

"First time I ever heard a code for the chefs" Iris said

Pigsy uses the rake to make noodles that is enough for all the demons to eat

"It's beautiful" Tang said with tears in his eyes again

Then MK heard someone calling his name, he turned around to see Monkey King looking at him from behind, he saw a mountain, and a small rock sitting on top, and he hears Monkey King calling his name over and over again. And saw the small rock creak

MK snapped out of it when Mei started calling his name

"MK! Tell Pigsy to stop cooking!" Mei shouted as she hits a demon using Tang, and Iris was kicking them away. Finally, Pigsy released all the noodles towards the demons, knocking them out, and looking satisfied

"Another satisfied customer" Pigsy said

MK should be happy that they got Pigsy back, but MK felt unsure about what just happened. He wonders why he's having visions about the mountain, the small rock and why Monkey King was calling out to him. He hopes he'll get the answers soon, once he saves Sakura, Sandy, and Monkey King, and beats the curse from within
