MK P.O.V

As the possessed Monkey King's fist was coming closer to my face, Macaque grabbed his fist in time, and pushed him forward

"All right, MK. I hope that staff is worth it" Macaque said as he struggled for a while, and they started to fight

"Go, boy! We'll handle Wukong!" Nezha said as he followed Macaque and started fighting the possessed Monkey King

While both Nezha and Macaque are fighting Monkey King, I went towards the staff

"No matter what you do, you cannot change the path of destiny" The Lady Bone Demon said

"I don't know if all this happened because it was destined to happen, but I have to believe that I found the staff so I could use it for good. To help people. So that's exactly what I'm gonna do. I'm gonna take my staff and protect this world!" I said and I tried to remove the staff from its icy prison, but I wasn't able to remove it

"Oh, sweet child. Can't you see, Sun Wukong couldn't best me. What can you hope to accomplish when he has failed?" The Lady Bone Demon said, and I heard something land behind me. It was Monkey King and he tossed both Nezha and Macaque looking pretty beat up "Cast aside your stubbornness and face your demise with honor"

"If you really believe that destiny can't be changed, you wouldn't be using every ounce of power you have to keep him contained!" I said as a creak appeared on Lady Bone Demon's face "The Monkey King I know will never stop fighting you. And neither will I"

Monkey King charged forward, but he didn't land a hit on me. He was holding onto the staff

"Thanks for not giving up on me, bud" Monkey King said as his eyes returned to his yellow color

"No!" The Lady Bone Demon shouted

"Time for the hero stuff" Monkey King said as I grabbed the staff, and we both pulled the staff out, sending a golden wave that sent the bone demon flying towards the wall

"Ugh... I can still feel her crawling under my skin" Monkey King said as he started get up from the ground, and I rushed towards him and hugged him

"I'm glad you're back!" I said, and we heard grunting coming from both Nezha and Macaque

"Guys..." Macaque started off

"Now that that Wukong is no longer under control..." Nezha's words trailed off, and it made me realize something

"Oh no!" Then the cold air pushed us

"Predictably unpredictable fools! I'm not wanting to rush destiny, but I won't be undone by a troop of headstrong simians and a flower prince!" The Lady Bone Demon said as she pushed her host out. Macaque rushed to save the little girl in time before she could hit the ground "If the recincarted goddess will not give me the Samadhi Fire willingly, then I will rip it from her!"

In the crystal room - No One P.O.V

In the crystal, Sakura felt the Samadhi Fire going out of control

"Go! I'll get through to cherry blossom!" Red Son said, and Pigsy grabbed Mei, Tang and Sandy broke through the center of the mech with MK, Nezha, Monkey King, and Macaque while still carrying the unconscious little girl. Once they made to the ground, Macaque placed the little girl down carefully. Then we looked at the now functioning mech, and it pulled out a sword made out of the Samadhi Fire

"You're right, MK. If you had never found that staff, none of this would have been possible. A delivery boy to the end" The Lady Bone Demon said, MK grit his teeth and walked forward

"Kid!" Pigsy was about to stop MK, but Monkey King blocked his path

"Now, watch as I fulfill my destiny and begin this world anew! No Monkey King! No Monkie Kid! No Konohana! Nothing!" The Lady Bone Demon said as she controlled the mech, and brought her weapons down towards MK. The Lady Bone Demon started chuckling thinking she had won, but once the smoke cleared it revealed that MK has summoned his Monkie Mech

"MK!" Tang cried in relief

"That's my boy!" Pigsy said

"You go little man!" Sandy said

MK's mech held onto the weapons

"No... No! I will not be stopped by you foul, insignificant creature!" The Lady Bone Demon shouted in anger as she pushed her weapons down harder "You would allow this world to continue to fester and rot!? The eternal misery of countless souls because of your sentimentality for mortal pleasures!?"

"You can't judge things by their worst qualities!" MK shouted

"This world might not be perfect, but it's still worth fighting for!" Tang yelled as a golden circle appeared around him

"Yeah! Sometimes it's a little bit of char that makes for a more flavorful meat! Even if it is a bit tangy" Pigsy said with a smirk as a pink aura surrounded him

"Meow!" Mo meowed

"You said it Mo! The world may be full of darkness, but to let the light shine, all we need to do is stand together!" Sandy said as the golden circle spread more

Monkey King, Macaque, and Nezha looked at each other and nodded, they sent their powers towards MK's Monkie Mech. The power that his friends sent to him gave his mech a power up

"A perfect world is what you make it. So as long as I have my friends by my side... This world is perfect!" MK said as he grabbed both of the weapons

"A child's notion! I will not be exhausted!" The Lady Bone Demon shouted

With Red Son and Sakura

Red Son held Sakura's face in his hand

"Don't you dare give up on me cherry blossom! The Samadhi Fire is not her power, it's yours! Bend it to your will! Don't use the flame Sakura..."

"Be the flame" Sakura thought to herself in her mind as the maroon flames became pink flames. Pink smoke went across the mech, heading towards MK's mech

"What?!" The Lady Bone Demon exclaimed

When the pink flames entered MK's mech, MK was about to fall forward when an arm held him up

"Hey, MK" MK saw a person made of flames, and once the flames disappeared, it revealed Sakura and her new clothing

"I apologize for you and my uncles worried" Sakura said

"Sakura!" MK smiled knowing that his crush is alright

"Yeah, I'm here too by the way" Red Son said with a grin, which made MK smile again

"Let's end this!" MK and Sakura said in unison

Tang summoned a spell circle above MK's mech, and a golden light hit the mech. The shockwave of the light shattered the Lady Bone Demon's ice, freeing both mortals and demons. Then the colored light from the world. The Lady Bone Demon covered her eyes from the brightness, then she uncovered her eyes and saw the Monkie mech bigger. The Monkie mech summoned the staff from its ear, and the staff became huge. Nezha summoned flame wheels to extend its agility. MK took a deep breath

"Here... Comes... Monkie..." His friends were there with them

"No! You will not take my destiny from me!" The Lady Bone Demon said as she formed a protective barrier, but gasped when she saw both Monkey King and Macaque holding the staff along with Sakura, who summoned a fox spirit for an extra push. The Lady Bone Demon couldn't believe her eyes, she summoned a sharp ice spear. She threw it, before the MK and the others landed a final blow

"KID!!!!!!!" The staff broke both the barrier and the mech, they defeated the bone demon

MK P.O.V

I had no idea where I am, but all I could see is white, and I noticed the Lady Bone Demon is with me. I wanted to say something but...

"Save your hero speech, child. I've existed long enough to know when it's over" The bone demon said

"You still think that the universe really wants anything from any of us?" I asked

"Don't you?"

"I tried not to think about it too hard" I said as I scratched the back of my head

"So, it would seem" Then she appeared next to me "Know this monkey, you and I are not so different. We both fight for what we think is right. That pursuit only leads to one thing"

"To destiny" I said

"No... To pain" The bone demon said as she started to disappear "And I apologize for what's gonna happen to your friend"

"What?" Then everything went dark, and I woke up to everyone surrounding something "You guys...? What's going...!" I felt my eyes widen in shock. Laying on the ground was a bloodied Sakura, and next her was a sharp ice spear, it was covered in her blood. I felt my tears starting to form in my eyes

"Sakura was hit by the spear... By the Lady Bone Demon" Tang said as tears poured from his eyes

Then Sakura started to open up her eyes weakly

"Everyone..."

"Sakura! Stay still! We need to stop the bleeding! Sandy get me a towel or something!" Pigsy said as Sandy quickly entered the van "You'll be okay, Sakura"

"I don't think so..." Sakura said weakly

"Don't say that Sakura! We've been through so much!" Mei cried, and Sakura slowly moved her hand to Mei's cheek to wipe away the tears, and Mei held her hand

"Please... Don't cry..."

"I'm so sorry, cherry blossom... I wasn't able to protect you" Red Son cried

"It's not... your fault" Sakura said, and Sandy came back with towels and carefully pressed the towel on her wound

"Don't worry, sweetie. We'll take you to the hospital, and they'll fix you right up!" Sandy said as he tried his best to hold back his tears

"Uncle Sandy... Uncle Tang... Uncle Pigsy..." Sakura called out to her uncles "Thank you for everything you've done for me...Thank you for raising me... Thank you for giving me lots of love..." Then she turned head towards MK and Mei "MK... Mei... Thank you for being my best friends..." Then she looked at Red Son, Nezha, Monkey King and Macaque "And thank you guys for being part of my life... I had so much fun going on adventures and protecting everyone..." Sakura's eyelids started to close "I'm getting sleeply...I think I'm gonna sleep for a bit..." Then her eyes closed "Goodnight..."

Then her hand went limp, slipping from Mei's hand. Then everyone started to cry for the loss of their friend/niece

My tears came down from my face like a waterfall

Red Son was crying while he holds Sakura's limp hand

Macaque punched the ground in anger

"Dammit! Not again!" Macaque shouted

Monkey King was silent, but I know he's crying too

Nezha was crying on his knees

"I'm so sorry... I failed to protect you once again..." Nezha said

While we were crying, a bright light came from above, everyone looked up and saw Konohana herself. We couldn't believe it

"Konohana..." Nezha couldn't believe his eyes

"Hello, Nezha. Wukong and Macaque, it's nice to see you both again" Then Konohana turned to look at Red Son, and smiled softly "Red Son, you've grown into a handsome young man"

"H-How do you know me?" Red Son asked

"I was there during the ritual to separate the Samadhi Fire within you" Konohana answered with a soft smile

"Konohana..." She turned to look at Monkey King "Why... Why didn't you tell me or the Great Monk about the Samadhi Fire being inside you?" Monkey King asked

"Simple. I didn't want you all to worry"

"But! We would've been able to remove the fire! Because of my dumb mistake!" Monkey King said as he started to tremble

"Wukong. I don't blame you for what happened" Konohana said and she turned to Sakura's body "Poor child, even though she's gone but I'm afraid her time isn't up yet"

"What do you mean?" Macaque asked

"I shall bring back her soul" Konohana said shocking everyone

"You mean you can bring her back!?" Tang asked, and she nodded

"How are you gonna do that?" I asked

"I'll use the remaining power that I have left to revive your friend" Konohana said

"But what'll happen to you?" Nezha asked

"I'll disappear but know that I'll always be there for you all. In here" Konohana said as she pointed where their hearts are

Konohana closed her eyes and concentrated her remaining power into reviving Sakura. Then the wound on Sakura's chest started to close up. Once the wound closed, Konohana started to vanish

"Farewell everyone, and it was nice to see you three again including the descendants of my friends" Konohana said as she disappeared

Then I saw Sakura's hand twitch

"Guys! Look!" I called out to them, and they quickly turned to look see what I was looking at. They saw Sakura's hand twitch again, and her eyes started to open. My eyes widen when I saw her red eyes completely open, Sakura slowly smiled at all of us

"Good morning, everyone" Sakura said and I tackled her into a hug

"Sakura!" I cried

Then everyone else also tackled towards Sakura. We were crying non stop, we were happy to have Sakura coming back to us

Sakura P.O.V

We were eating noodles at the outskirts of the city, after defeating the Lady Bone Demon, Uncle Pigsy thought it'll be a smart move to eat something after a tough battle. I was peacefully eating my noodles when I heard footsteps approaching from behind. It was MK, Monkey King, Macaque, Red Son and Nezha

"Is it okay if we eat with you?" MK asked, and I giggled

"Of course" I said with a smile as they sat down

"Sakura... We're sorry" Nezha said

"Huh? For what?" I asked

"We failed to protect you" Macaque said

"We should've been better protectors... Then you wouldn't have died and now you have that scar..." MK said

"You guys, you all did your best. That's what matters. And the scar will remind me how Konohana gave me a second chance in life, so I better do my best at cherishing the time I have" I said

"Yes, but you know... You're technically a celestial being" Nezha said

"Really?" I asked and he nodded

"With proper training, I'm sure you'll be able to use your powers and probably earn the title as the new goddess" Nezha said

"Woah, woah. Sakura still has her whole life before she becomes a goddess" MK said

"I agree with noodle boy. Cherry blossom first needs to rest after the battle" Red Son said

"I know. That's why she'll be a goddess in training" Nezha said

"Wow, blossom. Not only are you able to control the Samadhi Fire, but now you're a goddess in training. Let's hope your mentor isn't Wukong" Macaque said

"Hey! I'm a great mentor!" Monkey King shouted

"Sure you are. You leave all the cleaning up to your successor" Macaque said

"Like you're any better!" Both Monkey King and Macaque started arguing

"Anyways, Sakura, once you're fully healed, I'll come get you so we can begin your training. I'm sure you'll be the best goddess as Konohana was" Nezha said

"I believe in you Sakura!" MK said

"Yes! I promise to do my best!" I said with a smile and we continue to eat our noodles, while both Monkey King and Macaque still argued

Couple of days later

A couple of days passed, and everything returned to normal. MK and I delivered the noodles that Uncle Pigsy made. MK drove in his cart while I drove on my scooter.

I delivered the noodles to Red Son's family, Red Son was at a meeting spot and I handed him his order. Next was Nezha, he was sitting on a park bench while reading. I approached him and handed him his order with my usual smile, once he took his order he went back to the Celestial Realm to enjoy his meal. Appearing in my shadow was Macaque, he hugged me from behind as I pulled out his order. Even though he's no longer indebted to me, he still makes time to hang out.

Once I finished with my deliveries, I received a text from MK, he wanted to meet up with him and Monkey King, he wanted me to watch the sunset with them. I replied saying I'll be there in a few minutes.

I know there's going to be more challenges waiting for me, but like MK said as long I have my friends with me, I'll be ready for anything

End~ or is it...?

The story is done! Now I have to wait until season 4 is dubbed so I can continue with the next story. I want to thank u to everyone for supporting the story! I had so much fun writing the story, and I'm looking forward to watching the episodes that have subtitles cause I'm curious.
