Sakura P.O.V

We were heading to the last location of the rings, and it looked like we're in a snowy area too

'I hope there's a store nearby so we can buy some warm clothes for this weather. Or maybe Uncle Sandy has some?' I thought while making something for my uncles and my friends

MK was drawing as usual, and Mei walked over towards him to look at his drawings

"What you doing MK?" Mei asked as she picked up some of his drawings

"Just doodling" MK answered, and Monkey King, who was on his cloud, took the drawings out of Mei's hand

"Looking good, bud" Monkey King said, and Mei tried to take the drawings back

"Oh! Did you do any drawings of me, MK?" Uncle Tang asked

"Yeah, they're over there" MK pointed at the trash can "I didn't like how any of them turned out though. It was hard to make you look cool"

Tang went to the trash can and picked up some the drawings with a sad look

"Don't worry, Uncle Tang. I think your cool" I said as I walked towards him

"Really?" Uncle Tang asked and I nodded

"If it makes you feel better, I made you this bracelet" I pulled out the bracelet I was making, it had the same color as his clothing with a charm of a book, and he looked happy

"Thank, Sakura. What did I do to deserve you?" Uncle Tang asked as he hugged me and of course I hugged my uncle back

"What about us!?" I heard everyone say minus Macaque, but I know he's feeling the same as everyone else

"Don't worry everyone, I made one for each of you" I said as I handed each of them a bracelet. MK's bracelet is yellow and red stripes with 2 charms of Monkey King and the staff. Mei's bracelet is green with a dragon charm and a sword. Monkey King's bracelet is peach color with a monkey charm and a peach. Uncle Pigsy's bracelet is white with a noodle bowl charm and a small version of Chang'e charm. Uncle Sandy's bracelet is light blue with a tea set charm and a cat charm. They all look so happy to receive them, I walked towards Macaque and offered his bracelet to him, the bracelet is purple with a plum and his bow staff that he uses. While waiting for his reaction, I noticed his tail is wagging

'How cute' I thought, and I heard Uncle Sandy calling us

"Hey, guys! Land ho!" Uncle Sandy announced, we looked through the front window, and we saw the city where the third ring is kept, Lantern City

"Wow! It's beautiful!" I said and I heard Monkey King chuckle

"Heh. Hasn't changed a bit" Monkey King said

Once we reached the city, Uncle Sandy handed us each a box. When we opened them, they were warm clothes

"I packed warm clothing just in case we ended up somewhere cold. Good thing I had them!" Uncle Sandy said as he started to put on his jacket, gloves, and a scarf

I went behind a curtain and started to change into the warm clothes that Uncle Sandy gave me. After I finished changing, I opened the curtain and looked at myself in the mirror

"You look lovely my lady" Kyubi said as he jumped on my shoulders

"Thanks, Kyubi" I thanked Kyubi and noticed everyone was already outside "Sorry, guys. I hope I didn't make you all wait too long" When I stepped outside, Mei was squealing when she saw my outfit

"Omg! Sakura, you look so cute!" Mei said as she took a few pictures including some selfies "Don't you think so, guys?" My uncles agreed, while MK, Monkey King and Macaque remained silent

"What's wrong, you guys?" I asked with concern

"Don't worry, Sakura. I think they're in the middle of processing how cute you look" Mei said "Well, let's start heading to the city and look for the ring!"

Bullet Train

In the bullet train, we were squished, and I heard Monkey King, who was wearing jacket and a pair of sunglasses, saying something

"Okay. Maybe it changed a little" I laughed a little, but I failed to notice that a man was about to touch my butt, luckily Macaque grabbed the man's wrist in time

"Sir, I hope you weren't planning on touching this young lady's bottom" Macaque said who was in his human form and the man got scared. He got his wrist out of Macaque's grip and quickly left

"I have no idea what that guy was about to do, but thank you for saving me Macaque" I said

"Of course, I promised your uncles after all" Macaque said with a grin as he stood by me for the rest of the ride

Finally, we reached the station. We were about to leave, when I noticed Uncle Tang wasn't paying attention

"Uncle Tang! Come on or you're gonna be left behind!" I shouted and Uncle Tang rushed outside before the doors closed. We left the station, and we saw so many buildings with beautiful decorations. While looking around, Monkey King started going through everything

"Alright. I remember throwing the ring around here somewhere" Monkey King said as he lifted up the basket lid

"I thought you said you hid the ring" Mei said

"Yeah. By throwing it into the crust of the Earth, where no one could find it. Keep up dragon pony girl" Monkey King said and I sweat dropped

"Sigh... I swear Wukong is an absolute idiot" Macaque said

"I agree. I'm still shocked that the Great Monk entrusted him with hiding the ring" Kyubi said

"Is there some type of festival going on?" I asked

"I was wondering the same thing. It looks like it" MK said and I went to the vendor

"Excuse me, but is there a festival going on?" I asked

"Of course! It's the Ring of Light Festival!" The vendor said

"Can you tell us more about it?" I asked and the vendor started to explain the story

"Legends say that Lantern City was once a desolate village until Monkey King thrust the Ring of Light into the Earth! Transforming the city into the prosperous metropolis it is today! Every year we hold a festival celebrating Monkey King's gift of the great Ring of Light" The vendor finished telling the tale and we looked at Monkey King

"So much for the rings being a secret" Uncle Pigsy said, making Monkey King back away while laughing nervously

"So... You gonna buy something?" The vendor asked and we bought the souvenirs for the festival

"So, what we're just gonna wander around til we stumble upon the ring?" Uncle Pigsy asked

"Of course not, Pigsy. I think I know exactly where the ring is" Uncle Tang said, he was about to say, but Monkey King ended up saying it

"It's in the giant lantern in the middle of the city" Monkey King said

"Hey! That's what I was going to say!" Uncle Tang shouted

"How're you figure?" MK asked

"Somehow, the villagers, found my super well-hidden magic ring, and there's a giant magic lantern in the middle of the city. I'm gonna say they put it in that. It's 2+2, bud" Monkey King said

"And 2+2 is three! The third ring!" MK said as he jumped on Monkey King's shoulders

'2+2 equals 4 though' I thought to myself, and I noticed a flyer on the bulletin board, I grabbed it and showed it to the gang

"Hey, guys!" I called out to them "Look at this flyer!" Monkey King grabbed from hand and handed it to Uncle Sandy

"There you go, big blue guy. You haven't said anything in a while. Read this" Monkey King said

"You know, I could've read it" I said

"Yeah, I know. But your uncle really hadn't said anything for a while" Monkey King said, and we heard Uncle Sandy clear his throat and is wearing a pair of reading glasses

"Ahem. Join the talented citizens of Lantern City as they try to win the coveted Ring of Light and bring the city to life" Uncle Sandy finished reading the flyer and we were already in backstage

"A talent show?" Mei asked sounding excited

"So, if we win, we get the ring" Uncle Pigsy said

"But none of us have any talents! There's no way we can win" MK said, sounding defeated

"Uh... Bud? You do know there is someone in the group that has talent, right?" Macaque asked as he gently pushed me forward, making MK gasp

"That's right! Sakura, you should sing!" MK said

"You want me to perform?" I asked

"Please, Sakura! You're our only hope!" MK went down to his knees and begged along with Mei

"Sigh... Alright, I'll do it" I said and both MK and Mei jump with joy "Hey, Macaque? Do you know how to play an instrument?"

"An instrument?" Macaque started to think "Well, I know how to use a leaf whistle and a Sanxian"

"Perfect!" I handed Macaque a Sanxian, and I looked at MK "MK, I want you to play the drums. For me, I better start getting ready" I went towards the clothes rack and started looking for my outfit for the talent show. Once I chose my outfit, I grabbed a couple of makeup and went to the women's changing room

No One P.O.V

While Sakura was getting ready, Macaque decided to wear the robe he wears during the Shadow Play and MK put on his costume and put on some face paint

"How come she didn't ask me if I know how to play an instrument?" Monkey King asked

"Oh. That's because I told her about your stage fright" Macaque answered

"Wait. Monkey King has stage fright?" MK looked surprised at the new information and Tang wrote it down in his journal

"Yep. He wouldn't last a second on stage if his life depended on it" Macaque said, Monkey King was about to give Macaque a piece of his mind when the sound of the door opening caught everyone's attention. Stepping out from the room, was Sakura wearing her choice of clothing for the talent show and has a fake flower in her hair

"How do I look?" Sakura asked

"You look beautiful, my lady" Kyubi said

"I agree. You look so beautiful!" Sandy said as he pulled out a camera and took a picture

"We better start going on stage" Macaque said as grabbed the Sanxian along with MK grabbing his drums and started heading towards the stage, Sakura was about to leave, when Tang called out to her

"Sakura... I know I don't do much for the team, but know I'll be supporting you" Tang said and Sakura smiled softly at her uncle

"Uncle Tang, you do so much for the team already. Even if you don't realize it, I'm still proud of you. But if you want to help, there is a ladder that leads to roof" Sakura said as she started to leave, hoping her uncle understood what she means

Behind the curtains, Sakura pulled out a couple of cherry blossom petals

"What are you planning on using the petals for?" Macaque asked

"Simple. For the performance to go well, I need some dancers for the song" Sakura said as she blew the petals, and clones appeared "I need you guys to change into the background dancers with a traditional look" The clones understood the order and changed their appearances. They were wearing hats and a yukata dresses, while the other clones grabbed some instruments

"Wait a minute. Macaque, aren't your ears sensitive to loud noises?" MK asked

"Don't worry, kid. I already that covered" Macaque said and he looked at Sakura "Ready, blossom?"

"Yeah. Let's do this!" Sakura said

The performance came to an end, and the whole crowd started cheering, the rest of the gang came onto the stage congratulating the trio for their performance

"Okay. So, there is no way we didn't just win this thing!" MK said excitedly and they heard screaming from above. The person landed in Pigsy's arms, the screaming person was none other than Tang, who was holding the third ring

"The ring!" MK shouted

"Way to go bench warmer" Pigsy said and Tang started to laugh nervously

"Guys! The mayor is here! He's after the rings!" Tang said, making Sakura, Macaque, and MK to quickly change back to their regular clothes and rushed towards the bullet train

"If the not mayor knows about the rings..."

"He'll stop at nothing to get his hands on them and deliver them to that witch" Monkey King said
