Sakura P.O.V

I was sitting on the couch watching some tv, sure it's normal for everyone, but...

"Hey Sakura, what's for lunch?" Macaque asked as he wrapped his arms around her shoulders

Macaque completely moved into my apartment! After I saved him from the fake mayor, he's became indebted to me and now I need to come up with an explanation for my uncles and my friends

'How on earth am I supposed to tell them?' I thought to myself as I started to get up from the couch making Macaque unwrap his arms from my shoulders and started heading towards the kitchen to make lunch. In my fridge, I have enough to make cream stew, so I decided to make it for lunch. Once I took out the ingredients, I put on my apron, I started to prep and took out the pot for the stew. While I was in the middle of prepping, I noticed Macaque is watching me

"Is something wrong?" I asked

"Nothing. I was just thinking how much you like a housewife" Macaque said with a grin

"Huh?"

"Yeah. You look adorable in the apron and watching you make lunch kinda feels like we're a married couple" Macaque said making me blush

"M-M-M-Married?! B-B-But! We barely know each other!" I shouted and that made Macaque laugh at my reaction

"Well maybe not now, maybe someday in the near future" Macaque said with wink and a grin

"C-C-Can you please stop teasing me?" I asked as I continued to cook

"I'll try~" Macaque said with a teasing tone, I sighed and continued to make lunch

Couple of minutes later, the cream stew is finally finished. I told Macaque to take a seat by the table, once he took a seat, I placed a bowl of cream stew on the table in front of him and called Kyubi for lunch. He jumped off the couch and jumped onto the table, I placed his bowl of cream stew in front of him and told to make sure it's cool enough for him to eat. Then I placed a bowl for myself on the table as well and took a seat

"Looks delicious. I bet it tastes great" Macaque said as he grabbed the spoon and scooped some of the stew, ate some and his eyes widened "Holy crap, this tastes amazing!"

"Really? What do you Kyubi?" I asked and Kyubi ate some after the stew was cool enough for him to eat

"It's delicious, my lady" Kyubi as he continued to eat the stew including Macaque, and I started to eat my stew

After we finished our lunch, I carried the bowls to the sink and started washing them, but Macaque placed his hand on my wrist

"Thanks for the meal, Sakura. How about I do the dishes" Macaque said

"Are you sure?" I asked, Macaque nodded, and he started to wash the dishes. I walked towards the living room and the news appeared on the TV. They're talking about a new ice rink had recently opened

'An ice rink? Sounds like fun, maybe I should go with my friends and uncles one of these days' I thought to myself

The next day

I was working at Uncle Pigsy's shop as usual and I heard MK calling me

"Hey Sakura! Did you see the news yesterday? There's a new ice rink in the city, and I was wondering if you want to... I don't know... Maybe wanna go sometime? A-As friends of course!" MK said with a red face

"Sure. It sounds like fun" I said with a smile, and I heard Uncle Pigsy calling me

"Sakura, the noodles are ready to be delivered!" Uncle Pigsy said as he placed 10 bags of noodles

"On it!" I grabbed the bags, put them in the cooler of my scooter and left to deliver them

No One P.O.V

Macaque was hiding in Sakura's shadow since she left for work, he wanted to make sure she stays safe. While hiding in her shadow, he heard MK talking about the ice rink

'Ice rink, huh? Looks like I have for her tomorrow night~' Macaque thought to himself as he remained in Sakura's shadow and planning his date with Sakura

The next day - nighttime

Sakura returned home from work as usual, but she was surprised to see Macaque waiting for her by the door

"Welcome back, blossom~ I want to know something. You don't have any plans for tonight, right?" Macaque asked, making Sakura look confused

"No, I don't have any plans for tonight. Why?" She asked

"Perfect. Get ready, I'm taking you out" Macaque said as he pushed me into my room "Make sure to wear something warm too" Macaque closed the door, leaving Sakura confused again. She started looking through her closet for something warm to wear. After looking for a bit, she finally found a warm outfit to wear, she started changing. 

She looked at herself in the mirror making sure she's ready, and finally she left her room with Macaque waiting for her in the living room. His ears flickered when he heard her footsteps, looked in her direction and his eyes widen

"Wow. You look amazing" Macaque said with his cheeks turning red

"Thanks. But I'm curious where you're taking me" Sakura said and Macaque walked towards her, picked her up and headed towards her patio door

"You're going to love it, I promise" Macaque said as he started jumping through the roofs of different buildings, resulting in making Sakura closing her eyes and holding onto Macaque a bit tighter "Don't worry, princess. I promise I won't let you go" Macaque reassured the girl, making her loosen her grip a bit

After a couple of building jumps later, they made to the destination

"You can open your eyes now" Macaque said and Sakura started to open her eyes. When her eyes were fully opened, she was surprised

"Is this... The new ice rink?" Sakura asked still looking surprised

"Yep. I heard people talking about it and decided I should bring you here" Macaque said 'I won't tell her that I actually heard about the ice rink from the kid when I was hiding in her shadow'

"Guess that explains why you wanted me to wear something warm. So, shall we head in?" Sakura asked as she wrapped her arms around Macaque's arm

"Sure. Let's head in" Macaque said and they started heading inside

Unknown the two, MK and Mei were hiding behind a bench

"What is Macaque doing with Sakura?!" MK shouted

"You mean what are they doing here together?" Mei said as she was recording them

"We gotta save her!" MK shouted again

"Dude, you need to chill. Why are you getting worked up for?" Mei asked

"Well... I don't know how to explain it... Like whenever I'm near Sakura, I feel happy and my chest feels warm too, but whenever she's in danger or with someone else, my chest started to feel hurt" MK explained and Mei looked at him with a glim in her eye and a grin

"Uh... What's with that look for?" MK asked

"Well~ Based on what you just told me... MK, my best friend... YOU"RE IN LOVE!!!!" Mei shouted and everyone looked in our direction

"Mei! Shhhhhh!" MK tries to make Mei quiet "Also what do you mean in love?"

"Isn't obvious? You get so worked up when Red boy or someone is near Sakura, you even freaked out when Sakura got taken by one of the Spider Queen's henchmen. So, MK, you're in love with Sakura" Mei said as she patted his back

'In love with Sakura? I'm in love with Sakura?' MK thought and he remembered all the times he spent hanging out with her even before becoming Monkey King's successor. His face turned bright red

"I... I'm in love with Sakura..." MK admitted with the same red look on his face

"Finally, you admit it! Now, let's go spy on both Sakura and Macaque!" Mei said as she dragged MK by the arm

Sakura P.O.V

When Macaque and I entered the ice rink, I was left amazed at how big the ice rink is and how cold it is in here

"I'll go get us a pair of skates for us. Keep an eye on her little fox" Macaque said and I looked at him with a confused look

"Of course. As if I'll leave my lady alone especially you" I heard Kyubi from behind me, when I turned around and saw a boy

"Um. Who are you?" I asked

"It's Kyubi though I don't blame you for not knowing it's me" Kyubi said making me shocked

"I didn't know you can change into a human Kyubi"

"You never asked my lady" Kyubi said making me sweat drop

'That's true... I never did ask' I thought to myself, and I saw Macaque coming back with 2 pairs of skates

"Here ya go, blossom" Macaque handed me a pair of skates, I took off my boots and put on the skates. I made sure that the laces of the skates weren't loose, after checking, I made my way to the ice rink. I held onto the rail so I wouldn't fall

"Need a hand?" Macaque skated to where I was and held out his hand, I grabbed his hand and he slowly started to move

"How are you already good at this?" I asked

"Well, all you have to do is keep balance" Macaque said as he continued to slowly skate while helping me balancing myself "You need to relax a bit, or you'll never balance yourself"

I tried to relax myself a bit, I took a couple of deep breaths and felt a bit relaxed

"Alright, I'm gonna let go, okay?" Macaque said as he started let go of my hand, I started to wobble a bit but managed to keep my balance "Looks like you're getting the hang of it"

"Y-Yeah, like you said earlier, all I need to do is keep my balance" I said and skated forward a little while trying to keep my balance. Macaque and I were having a fun time, but I heard someone groan in pain

"Ow! Why is it so hard?!" I turned around and saw MK who was on the ground

"MK?" I called his name and he tried to grab on the railing

"Uh... Hey Sakura! Funny running into you here" MK said trying to act cool but he ended falling to the ground

"Dang it MK! Way to blow our cover!" I heard Mei say

"Mei? Your here too? Are my uncles here too?" I asked as I looked around for my uncles

"No, they're not this time" MK said as Mei helped him up "But why are you with Macaque?"

"Macaque surprised me by taking me to the ice rink, but that doesn't explain why you guys are here" I said as I looked at both MK and Mei, they both looked away from my gaze

"Well..." Then Mei started to explain about how she saw Macaque jumping on top of the buildings while carrying me, she called MK, followed us and decided to hide in the shadows

"So... Stalking?" Macaque said making both MK and Mei fall to the ground

"No! We weren't doing that!" MK said "I was worried for my friend's safety!

"Whatever you say kid" Macaque said as he messed up his hair "I'll have you know that I'm actually indebted to her since she saved me. Can't you see the crown on my head?" Macaque pointed his head and they saw the crown

"Wwwwwhhhhhhhaaaaaaaaaattttttttt?!?!?!" Both MK and Mei exclaimed

So, I explained how I saved Macaque from the fake mayor and how he became indebted to me since I saved him, so until he meets the certain conditions of the debt, he's going to stay by my side until then.

"Oooooooooohhhhhhhhh"

"Yeah. I was worrying on how to explain this to you guys especially my uncles" I said and I felt MK placed his hand on my shoulder

"Don't worry, Sakura. We'll help you explain this with Pigsy, Tang and Sandy" MK said

"Really?"

"Yep. I promise" MK said

"Aw! That's so sweet! That's why he lov-!" MK covered Mei's mouth

"Please don't!" MK pleaded to Mei with a red look on his face, then Mei licked his hand to make him let go of her. MK got grossed out and they started fighting

'Sigh... At least they understood about Macaque. But why did MK's face turn red?' I asked myself and I heard Macaque laughing at both MK and Mei

The next day, like MK promised he explained everything to my uncles about Macaque, of course they weren't happy, but they made sure to make Macaque promise them that nothing bad happens to me or no to trick MK again. Macaque accepted my uncle's terms, so now he can come to the noodle shop with me when I go to work
