Sakura P.O.V

It's been a few days since the fight with DBK, the city is in the middle of being repaired. For me, I've been staying at home recovering after the boulder broke my leg, there's not much to do at home. My home is clean, I've watched all of my favorite shows and movies, and read all of my books

'Maybe I should get some new books' I thought to myself as I closed my book that I just finished reading, I walked carefully using the crutches and headed towards the bookshelf to put the book away. When I put the book back, one of the books fell from the shelf

"Oh man" I kneeled down to pick up the book, and I remembered what book it was, 'Japanese Myths and Legends', I haven't read this book since I was little, I remember how I always asked Uncle Tang to read me this book. I smiled and decided to read the book again, after getting up, I used the crutches to walk back to the crouch to read

I took a seat, and I started reading the book that I haven't read for a long time. I forgot how amazing the myths and legends are, I love the stories about how mysterious the demons are, and once I turned the next page, my eyes widen

"The Cherry Blossom Goddess Konohana..." I said her name out loud and I saw a picture of the goddess too "Gasp! T-That's her! I saw her once in my dreams!" I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the picture, when I turned the next page of the book, it went to talk about a different god. I was confused, then I noticed a couple of pages are missing

"Huh? What happened to the pages?" I tried to remember but I can't remember, then I heard the doorbell ring "I wonder who it is" I got up from the couch, picked up my crutches and started walking to the door. I looked through peep hole and saw both MK and Mei, so I unlocked the door

"Hey MK. Hey Mei. What's brings you guys here today?" I asked

"We wanted to check on you" MK said

"Plus, we wanted to watch the Monkey King marathon with you since you've been home literally all day" Mei said

"Alright, that actually sounds like a great idea!" I said with a smile, and I allowed them to enter my home. When I was about to close the door, I heard a meow, I looked down and saw Macaque

"Hello Macaque, I haven't seen you for a while. I would love to pick up but sadly I can't" I said with a sad smile, then Macaque jumped into my arms, climbed on my shoulders, and he started lick my cheek "*giggle* Well, I better head to the living room, I don't want to worry MK and Mei" Once I closed the door, Macaque jumped off my shoulders and went to my room

'Guess Macaque is tired. I'll let him sleep' I thought to myself, I walked to the living room, and I saw Mei and MK setting up mountains of snacks for the marathon

"There you are Sakura! C'mon, the marathon is about to start!" I heard MK shouting and chuckled

"I'm coming MK, I have you know it's not easy walking in crutches" I said while laughing a little as I finally made it to the couch

We watched the marathon throughout the day and I was having a great time

"Hey, Sakura, I have a question I want to ask you" Mei said

"A question?" I said while tilting my head

"What's your relationship with Tang, Pigsy and Sandy?" Mei asked

"Huh?" I looked at Mei with a confused look

"I don't want to sound rude or anything, but it's been bugging me since forever. How did they become your uncles?" Mei asked and tried not to sound rude

"I see. Well, to answer your question Mei, Uncle Tang actually found me when I was a baby" I answered

"Found you? You mean... Someone abandoned you?" MK asked and smiled sadly

"Yeah. Uncle Tang told me the story of how he found me, it was during the springtime..." I started to tell the story

Flashback 17 years ago

Tang was walking back from his lecture and was heading to Pigsy's noodles. While walking, he heard a baby cry, he started to walk again to find the source of the baby's cry, then the crying has gotten louder, he started to run to get to the location quicker. Finally, after running, he finally got to the location, out of breath, he looked up and was in a state of awe

He saw rows of Cherry blossom trees, when he finally caught his breath, he started walking again, he looked at all of the cherry blossom trees with amazement, then he heard the baby's cry again and it was close. Tang speed walked up ahead to find the baby, then finally, Tang saw a baby basket under the cherry blossom tree. Then, the baby cries, he rushed over to the baby to give it comfort, he carefully picked the baby and carefully cradled it, then after a minute the baby stopped crying and opened its eyes revealing red eyes. Tang wondered what the baby was doing here by itself and why did someone just abandoned the poor child, feeling sorry for the child, Tang decided to keep the baby, but he needs help. So, of course, he needs to ask Pigsy for help and if he knows anyone who can help raise the child too. Tang put the baby back in the cradle and started walking to Pigsy's noodles

At first, Pigsy thought Tang had stolen someone's baby, after Tang explained everything that happened, he agreed to help raise the child, but of course Pigsy told Tang that the child is his responsibility, Tang agreed. Pigsy asked the baby's gender, of course Tang has no idea, then a gross smell entered their nostrils. They gagged at the smell, and they looked at the baby, they both played rock, paper, scissors the loser changes the diaper. Sadly, Tang lost. He went out to buy some diapers, powder, and wipes. When he came back with all the things he needed to change the diaper, he set the baby on the table in the back, and he began to change the baby's diaper, while cleaning up the baby, Tang learned that the baby is a girl, so he needed to think of a name for her. Finally, Tang finished the diaper changing, Tang also told Pigsy the baby's gender, he was surprised. 

Tang watching over the baby girl while reading a book about child raising, of course he knew raising a child isn't going to be easy, but he knows Pigsy will try his best to help as well. After some time of thinking, he thought of a name for the baby girl. He decided to name the baby Sakura, when the baby heard the name, she giggled, which means she loves the name, that brought a smile on both Tang's and Pigsy's faces

Flashback End

After explaining the story, I noticed how both MK and Mei had tears in their eyes

"That is the most heart-warming story, we ever heard!" Both MK and Mei said in union, and they hugged me

"We're happy that Tang found you. Because we get to meet you and become friends!" Mei said

"Yeah, I'm very happy that I got meet you guys too!" I said

"Oh yeah! I almost forgot!" MK spoke up

"What is it?" I asked

"We were thinking about going to the beach when you don't need crutches. Pigsy, Tang and Sandy thought it'll be a great idea" MK said

"That actually sounds like a great idea. I think I don't need to use them in two weeks, I'm actually going to the doctor's office tomorrow for a check-up. I'll let you guys know, okay?" I said and both MK and Mei looked very happy and excited 

The next day, as planned, I went to the doctor's office to have my leg checked out, and the doctor told me I don't need to use the crutches anymore, but he did say I still need to take it easy. When I left the office, I called MK

"Hey Sakura. What's up?" MK answered

"Hey MK, I called to let you know that I'm free from using crutches" I said

"Really?! That's great! So, does that mean beach day?" MK asked

"Yep. We can go next week. You can let my uncles and Mei know" I said

"Yes ma'am!" MK said as he hanged up the phone

"He's way too excited, but then again it is MK" I looked through contacts and my eyes landed on a certain name and number

'I should invite him and his family' I thought to myself, and I pressed the call button

Next week

Finally, today is the day that I'm going to the beach with my friends and uncles. I changed into my summer dress and started walking out of my apartment, and I saw Uncle Pigsy's van in front of my apartment

"Uncle Pigsy!" I called out to my uncle and Uncle Pigsy came out of the van

"Sakura! How are you feeling?" Uncle Pigsy asked

"I'm doing alright, but the doctor said I should still take it easy" I said

"Alright kiddo, we better meet up with the others or they're gonna Tang and Sandy are gonna start a search party for us" Uncle Pigsy said with a laugh, and I laughed with him as we got into the van and Uncle Pigsy started the van and we made our way to the beach

No One P.O.V At the beach

After a bit of driving, Pigsy and Sakura made it to the beach. MK and the others are busy setting things up, Tang and MK were setting up the umbrellas and towels and Sandy was setting up the Barbeque pit while Mei was out buying some groceries and drinks

"Hey guys!" Sakura called out to everyone

"Sakura!" Tang and Sandy sounded happy to see their niece while MK was frozen stiff when he saw Sakura

"Sakura, you look so beautiful!" Sandy said as he took out a camera and took a picture

"S-Sandy's right... Y-Y-You beautiful" MK said as his face turned bright red

"Don't even think about it MK" Tang said as he, Sandy and Pigsy are looking at MK menacingly and MK got scared

"Hey guys! I'm back and look who came with me!" Everyone heard Mei, and when they turned around to see her, not only did they see her, but they also saw the Demon Bull Family

"Uh... Mei...? Why are the Demon Bull Family here?" Tang asked with a shaky tone

"To answer your question peasant, Sakura invited me and my family to spend the day out on the beach" Red Son answered

"Indeed. It's sweet of my future daughter law to invite us out" Princess Iron Fan said

"Speaking of daughter in law, where is she?" DBK asked and that resulted the uncles getting angry

'As if we'll let our niece marry your son!!!' The uncles thought in union

"Hey, you guys! Glad you can make it!" Sakura said as she walked towards the family, resulting Red Son's face turning bright red and flames bursting out from his head

"C-C-C-C-Cherry b-b-b-b-b-blossom! Y-Y-Y-Y-You l-l-l-l-l-look b-b-b-b-b-beautiful!" Red Son said and tried to calm himself down

"Thank you, Red Son. Hello Princess Iron Fan, DBK. How are both doing?" Sakura asked

"We're both doing well, thank you asking" DBK answered Sakura's question

"And thank you for inviting us out today" Princess Iron Fan thanked Sakura

"You're welcome, you guys deserve a fun day at the beach after everything that happened" Sakura said

"How is your leg?" Red Son asked

"My leg is getting better. The doctor told me to make sure to take it easy" Sakura answered and she noticed the guilt look on DBK's face "Just you know DBK, it's not your fault. It was the boulder's fault. So, don't go blaming yourself or beat yourself up over this, okay?"

"You're too kind daughter in law" DBK said as he chuckled 

Sakura walked towards Red Son and grabbed his hand, making him completely flustered again "Come on, we shouldn't stand here all day and waste the day away"

They started walking back to where MK and Sakura's uncles are, the Demon Bull Family started setting up their own beach umbrellas and chairs. Red Son is with Sandy and Pigsy at the Barbeque pit, he was helping them cooking the meat and vegetables

"Hey, Sakura! Let's go swimming in the ocean!" Mei said to Sakura

"I would love to, but I forgot to bring my swimsuit" Sakura said, and Mei had a gleam in her eyes

"Don't worry Sakura, I guessed you would that. So, I got you one and I must thank Princess Iron Fan for helping me to choose" Mei said

"Indeed. I've always wanted to buy feminine clothing if I ever had a daughter, now I finally got the chance" Princess Iron Fan said looking happy, she and Mei grabbed Sakura's arms and started dragging her into the changing room

One minute later~

Mei and Iron Fan came back in their swimsuit, with Sakura hiding behind them

"Welcome back, you two. Wait, where's Sakura?" MK asked

Mei and Iron Fan smiled as they both moved aside to reveal Sakura in her swimsuit

Both MK and Red Son stared at her with a bright red faces and blood coming out from their noses, and that activated protective uncles' mode. The three uncles rushed towards their niece and surrounded her to cover her

"No, no, no, no, no, no!!!!! Sakura cover yourself with the towel!" Tang exclaimed as he wrapped a towel around his niece and Sandy held onto Sakura

"You guys need to chill out" Mei said as she tried to free Sakura from Sandy very tight protective hug "Besides, the boys aren't gonna do anything crazy with her since she has her uncles to protect her"

Then a moment of silent

"You're right" Pigsy, Tang and Sandy said and Sandy finally let go of Sakura

"W-Well, I better get back to the grill. C'mon Sandy" Pigsy said as he and Sandy went back to the grill

"C'mon Sakura! Let's go swimming!" Mei said as she dragged Sakura and started heading to the ocean to swim

"I-I'm coming Mei! But can you slow down a bit? I don't want to hurt my leg" Sakura said and she was picked up by Red Son

"Then, allow me, the Great Red Son to carry you!" Red Son said as he carried Sakura to the ocean

"H-Hey! No one said you can carry her!" MK said as he rushed towards them

Everyone was having a good time at the beach, even the Demon Bull Family especially they got to spend the day with Sakura, Iron and DBK got to know their future daughter in law and Red Son got to know more of his future wife

'I'm having so much fun. I'm happy that I came to the beach with everyone' Sakura thought as she smiled
