Panic set in as Macaque's shadow clones tackled Sun Wukong, making it impossible for him to help MK, who laid unconscious on the ground several yards away, close to the edge of the cliff the battle had taken them to. "Again with you holding back because of this kid, I mean," Macaque looked over at MK. "damn, you've really gone soft." He laughed as he reached for a bag that hung over his shoulder. "I mean, at least I know how to use the people I meet to my advantage, oh wait," he pulled a metal fillet out of the bag. "You used to be able to do that." He twirled the fillet on his index finger as he walked over to MK. "Tricked Red Son into making this charm for me. Works just like yours did, vocal commands. No spell needed though, also responds to the snap of the fingers, only to activate though." He knelt next to MK. "Let's see if your student can stand the same amount of pain."
"Macaque! Stop!" Wukong exclaimed, trying to push himself free. Macaque just smirked as he placed the fillet on MK's head. "I swear if you dare use that thing on him-"
"What? You'll make me go soft too Wukong?" Macaque laughed. "I thought you'd actually try when I attacked again." Out of the corner of his eye, Macaque spotted MK slowly waking up. "About time, looks like your brat is waking up Wukong."
No
"Get any apology you want to give him out now, or you won't get a chance." Macaque spoke with a dark grin.
Don't hurt him you sick bastard.
"Nothing to say?"
MK's face was drenched in confusion. "Monkey King what's he-"
"That's too bad, hope he won't resent you too much for being unable to help him." Macaque snapped his fingers, almost immediately pain seared through MK's skull.
He screamed
A bloodcurdling scream that echoed for miles. "STOP IT!" Wukong yelled at Macaque. "STOP IT!"
Macaque smirked again. "Stop." He grinned as the skull shattering pain the fillet had been causing to MK faded.
"Put the fillet on me." Wukong spoke quickly. "Don't hurt him," he glared at Macaque. "Don't hurt him because I left you."
Macaque laughed. "That's the thing Wukong." He smiled darkly. "If you're willing to take this pain off his shoulders, or head I should say," He paused for dramatic effect. "then isn't it even more torturous to you if he goes through the pain, then if you were to yourself?" Macaque shrugged as he walked towards Wukong. "Don't get me wrong, he's a good kid, he doesn't deserve to have this happen to him, at all," he knelt down in front of the Monkey King and grabbed the trapped monkey's chin, forcing Wukong to look him in the eye. "but he happens to be what you care about. The one thing you're willing to put that fillet back on for."
"Macaque please-"
"You know I'm right. That kid, has grown on you to the point where he's a weakness." He lifted his hand, to snap his fingers again. "A weakness like a massive bloodily wound in your side." He smirked. "A wound that I plan on digging my claws into." He snapped his fingers, and the screaming began anew. MK lay on the ground, desperately trying to pry the fillet off his head, but if just continued to tighten around his skull. "If you hadn't made him your successor he wouldn't be in pain right now Sun Wukong." Macaque yelled mockingly. "If you weren't the lazy asshole that you are, this kid wouldn't be writhing on the ground in pain."
"WHAT DO YOU WANT?!" Wukong yelled. "STOP HURTING HIM AND JUST TELL ME WHAT YOU WANT ALREADY!"
Macaque smirked again. "Stop." He stood and walked over to MK. "You are such a gem," he pulled MK up off the ground and held him up by the shoulders. "It's just too bad, that you got attached to such a nice kid." Macaque moved dragging a struggling MK towards the edge of the cliff. "Nothing personal kid, you can always blame Wukong for your young death though."
"MACAQUE NO!" Wukong shouted as Macaque pushed MK over. "MK!!!" The shadow clones faded into the ground, and reappeared at the cliff, holding up MK.
"You actually thought I was going to kill him?" Macaque chuckled darkly. "Why would I've gone through the trouble of getting Red Son to make a fillet if I was just going to kill him?" The shadow clones set MK on the ground, who collapsed into a shaking mess nearly immediately. "Just needed to scare you both." He grabbed the back of MK's hoodie and threw him over to Wukong.
"MK, Bud are you alright?" Wukong immediately asked as MK landed roughly on his shoulder, tearing his hoodie sleeve. MK nodded. Wukong looked at the fillet. Would I be able to get it off of him?
"Let me guess. You're gonna try to take the fillet off your kid?" Macaque laughed. "Good luck with that. It doesn't come off." Macaque walked past MK and Wukong. "And you can trust that I'll use it against you." With that, Macaque left, leaving Wukong to apologize to MK.
