There were lines of doctors at the entrance of the Kang Hospital as the owner stepped out of the car. Everyone clapped and cheered as Eunha walked inside with a bright smile. Everyone was jealous of her style, her clothes, her features. They all envied her. They loved her. It was hard not to. She knew she had it all.
Inside the hospital, the doctors quickly followed behind her. Some doctors and patients had left their rooms to see the one and only Eunha—the principal attraction of a simple hospital. The Kang Hospital. The woman who had it all and yet wanted more. Her smile was from side to side as she turned to face everyone and waved at the people she saw around and from afar. She was a celebrity. a goddess to everyone who admired her. She was the future leader of Korea—the Goddess of the world.
She proudly stood where everyone could see her and said, "Good morning. My name is Kang Eunha. I'm the CEO of Kang & Co."
The crowd clapped once again. Eunha chuckled and looked at the smiling faces all around before she continued. "Today, we will open the luxurious Kang Suites Hotel in Seoul. It's just a few minutes from the hospital, and the first ones to enjoy the wonderful experience of the suites will be our lovely and hardworking doctors here! If you receive an email later today, we invite you to stay the night for free! All we ask is for you to enjoy your time at our new luxurious suites!"
The crowd went silent as they looked around, confused. They didn't know if those words were real, but they wanted to believe. At that moment, phones started going off with a very special email. The doctors looked at each other and then at the email. Eunha wasn't lying.
"The reservation is for tonight!" she said. "So make sure you prepare yourselves. You're allowed to bring your family with you too, of course. And don't worry, the hospital will stay very well attended! Substitute doctors will arrive in a few minutes to cover you all for the day. You all have done such an incredible job, and I am so proud of every one of you. Please, enjoy this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity."
A few minutes after her speech, Eunha walked around the hospital and visited some patients. She listened to their stories and gave them a topic of conversation now and then. Everyone believed she was doing it out of her own heart and for the patient's wellbeing, but she was doing it to wait for the nighttime to arrive. She was stalling, at least until the doctors had left.
When nighttime had arrived, the doctors with the invitations had left. There were a few interns and supervisors—very minimum per floor. On one floor, two supervisors were at the front desk, wondering why they hadn't been invited to the hotel. On another floor, one supervisor and one intern were the only ones left, and yet, on another, only interns remained. The interns knew the hotel offer wasn't for them, but the supervisors were still doctors and didn't know why they hadn't been selected. All of them, however, wondered the same thing. Where were the substitute doctors?
When Eunha finished talking to the last patient on the floor, she walked out of the room and looked out the window. It was dark outside. She saw no one around her, so she knew it was her time to act. She walked to the elevator and went to the first floor before she looked for the security room. When she found it, she went inside and locked the door. The security guards from the hospital were also at the hotel with Eunha's excuse that they were valuable members and that substitute guards would take over for the night.
Eunha sat in the chair and looked at the screens in front of her. She could see what was happening on every floor of the hospital. That was the problem. No one could see what was about to happen.
She leaned in closer and disconnected the cables that were recording everything. Suddenly, the screens went black.

The rest of the week, Ara focused on her studies. No Jiyong, no Jimin. She knew Jiyong would eventually appear. She knew Jimin would call, too, but it didn't matter. After all, she couldn't distract herself from her studies with the men who had left her abandoned. One of them focused on saving his company, and she understood, but he had completely ignored her since the last encounter at the park. The other was just gone. He has vanished from the Earth. It worried her immensely. She tried to call him and look for him on campus for hours, but nothing—he had disappeared.
Jimin cared so much about Ara and her whereabouts, but he couldn't meet with her as he was constantly in his office. He had slept there for days. He couldn't do anything except worry about Dongwoo's situation. That was until he called Minji and asked her about Ara.
"She's busy studying. There's an exam tomorrow," she said. "She's just stressing out more since Jiyong is—wait, forget what I said."
"Wait—who?" Jimin asked as he heard a low curse on the other side of the phone. "Minji, who?"
"Nothing! She's drilled into her work. Let her focus."
And so he did. He didn't want to distract his mind with another issue added to his personal life. At least for now, if Ara had someone else in mind, he was willing to turn a blind eye to it. He had already confessed, and there was nothing else he could do but wait. After all, he had no time to focus on anything else but his company.
The meeting was finally set. Jimin had reunited with the committee members, and the camera footage was about to be displayed on the big screen. Jimin turned to Dongwoo's seat, but he wasn't there, which made him curious. He had seen a resignation letter earlier that morning on his desk, but never had time to open it to see who had left it there. Once again, someone had entered Jimin's office without his permission.
His secretary played the footage of the camera that was right outside his office as everyone observed, desperately waiting for someone to show up. In the clips, Jimin had been the only one who had entered the office, and whenever Dongwoo entered, it was with Jimin's permission. Baekhyun showed up, too. There was no one out of the ordinary until one day came by. Just a few days ago, a woman passed by the office. She looked around before she walked inside. She took her time before she had left the room.
Everyone observed the scene. No one knew who the young woman was, but Jimin knew her perfectly. He suddenly remembered her face and where he had seen it. It was her first day at work, and she looked nervous. That was when he cursed under his breath. Baekhyun was right about the mole. Yoon Hana must have been a mole sent by Kang Eunha.
He sighed as he leaned back in the seat. The video ended as the committee members didn't know what to say. They tried to avoid making eye contact with Jimin, as they knew they had made a mistake. They judged Dongwoo's character and personality and made him quit his job because of the criticism that he received. No one knew he had resigned, however. They just believed he had taken the day off.
Jimin stood up and fixed his suit as everyone followed him and did the same. They all kept their heads down as Jimin looked at every one of them. He finally realized who had written the letter, and it hurt him to think about it. He thought Dongwoo must have felt so alone and in terrible pain to have resigned from a job he loved. A job he had put so much work into for decades.
"Dongwoo left his resignation letter on my desk," Jimin said. "I don't even want to think about the terrible things he went through when everybody thought he had betrayed the company. I don't even want to think about it. We are lucky if he doesn't decide to sue us for defamation or anything worse due to all the things people have been posting and saying about him. As for the woman in the video, Yoon Hana, I will take care of her myself."
As upset as he was, Jimin maintained his composure as he walked out of the room. He went directly to his office and sat at his desk as he opened Dongwoo's letter.
"To whom it may concern, I have been working at the Park Corporation for more than ten years, giving my best in everything I ever did. Lately, however, my job has been affected greatly, and I have been unable to continue working as I used to. Everywhere I look, there's always someone spreading lies about my character, and I'm afraid this has been affecting me immensely. People that I thought were my colleagues and friends. Jimin, I'm sorry. I never betrayed you. I would never do such a thing. You know me well. I just can't stay here any longer. I hope you understand."
Jimin looked at the letter as a tear went down his cheek. If only he had trusted Dongwoo sooner, and if only he had defended him more. He wiped the tear off his face and stood up. He walked over to the door, ignoring his secretary as he went directly to the elevator. Inside, he pressed button number five, and when the elevator reached the fifth floor, he went directly to the office where the interns remained. When he opened the door, none of the interns expected to see him there. They all stood up immediately and bowed directly at him. All but one. Yoon Hana.
He walked to her, and for a second, all he could see was red. The front desk assistant on that floor followed him inside as she kept asking if everything was okay, but he didn't answer. He focused on one person, Yoon Hana. He stared at her, and she looked at him with no regret in her eyes.
"Yoon Hana, you have one hour to hand me your resignation letter before I fire you myself," he said, shocking the interns nearby. "The Park Corporation will hold a lawsuit against you. Be prepared."
By leaking the papers, Hana violated her contract with the Park Corporation. Her contract even mentioned that the company would impose repercussions against unauthorized employees who entered the directors' offices. The camera footage demonstrated it. They could accuse Hana of both a breach of contract and civil conspiracy. That was because Jimin was sure she had something to do with Eunha, even if he couldn't prove it at that moment. He walked away and went to his office as he dialed Baekhyun's number. When Baekhyun answered, Jimin immediately said, "We found the mole. Is there a way we can connect her to Eunha?"
"We would need to find evidence through her phone or bank account transactions assuming that Eunha wired her money. Do you have the video evidence?" Baekhyun asked, and Jimin immediately confirmed that he did. "We can request a warrant on her for trespassing your office. I suggest you ask Yoongi more about the topic, but when we have the warrant, we can search her phone, bank account, and even her house. When we find evidence of the leak and evidence that connects her to Eunha, we can arrest them both."

"Can you help me with this?" Yoongi asked as he pointed at the toxicology report in the autopsy report papers. Taehyung reached for them and looked through it carefully, knowing that it was his specialty.
Taehyung was a toxicologist. He had worked in the field for so many years that he had seen everything. He had seen murders disguised as overdoses and even heart attacks. Yoongi looked for him specifically because he could distinguish a simple heart attack from a drug-related murder.
"A witness came up to me the other day, which is why I couldn't see you," Yoongi said. "He confirmed Namjoon's words and said he had seen the man's face. Now, we can make a digital drawing and look for him! He even saw Eunha there that day!"
"Eunha?" Taehyung asked, confused but also shocked. "We're talking about the same Kang Eunha who is Jimin's fiancée and tried to sleep with me? That Eunha?"
"That Eunha," Yoongi replied. "The one you saw at the bar the other day. The same one you took to your house behind Jimin's back. Oh God, did you end up sleeping with her that night? Jimin barely told me the details. Mind sharing what happened?"
Suddenly, Taehyung's face expressed utter disgust in a matter of seconds, making Yoongi chuckle. He remained frozen in place, remembering how Eunha once tried to seduce him and failed. Disgust went over his body as he quickly shook his head, trying to forget those memories.
"Why would you mention such details again?" Taehyung groaned. "Why would I sleep with my friend's fiancée? I've been trying so hard to erase that unfortunate memory from my mind. It seems you don't want me to help you with this."
"Come on, Tae!" Yoongi pleaded. "You're the best of the best. I promise I'll remain silent."
Taehyung glared at him and then furrowed his eyebrows, fully grasping Yoongi's words from earlier. "Wait a minute, Eunha was in the Kang Hospital the day Byun Haneul died?"
Yoongi nodded and said, "The patient saw her enter the security room. What if she was the one who manipulated the footage? What if she got rid of the actual evidence that night?"
Taehyung leaned closer as he said, "Well, that would be a job for the amazing Chief Officer Min to figure out, no?"
Yoongi scoffed and leaned back as Taehyung did the same. He smiled at him and then went back to reading the report. Yoongi had given the witness his number and dropped him off at his family member's house near the Park Corporation buildings. He had family there, so he could safely stay until needed for the case. And he was surely going to be of good use after his words.
"Potassium chloride," Taehyung read. "The medical records for both patients are perfect. Eunhyuk's report states high levels of potassium chloride, which I agree are very unusual, but the one of Haneul doesn't say that. Eunhyuk died of a heart attack, and Haneul died of blunt force trauma—from a hit-and-run?"
Yoongi nodded as Taehyung kept reading. When Taehyung finished, he said, "In Eunhyuk's case, these extremely high levels of potassium chloride were the ones that caused the cause of death to be a heart attack. With no abnormal levels of potassium throughout his life, I can confidently say that it was administered to him in some other form."
"Would you say that Kang Eunhyuk was murdered?" Yoongi asked.
"Could have been the case. For Haneul, however, most of the details are missing out," Taehyung said as he continued. "In his report, the cause of death is blunt force trauma from the car crash, but the toxicology report has got me thinking. Autopsy reports are certain. They wouldn't just say unspecified because it changes everything. A normal person has potassium in their body, but it is never present as potassium chloride. In both cases, they were."
Yoongi stayed silent as Taehyung handed the papers back to him. He took a moment to skim through the toxicology reports and then looked his way. Taehyung leaned back in his chair as he said, "It's all a fraud. These extremely unusual levels could indicate poisoning. Whoever did Byun Haneul's autopsy report is hiding the real cause of death from the world. I believe that both Kang Eunhyuk and Byun Haneul died from potassium chloride poisoning."
