It's still going on?
A/N: Not gonna lie... for some reasons.... I hate this story.... XD dunno why tho.... I really don't get it but it is the least one I like to work on for now.
The following morning, the sun barely peeked over the horizon as I returned to the rehab facility, clipboard in hand and my coffee long gone. Today wasn't going to be easier—it was going to be harder.
As I walked through the halls, I could already hear grumbling. Perfect. They were awake, and more importantly, they were still feeling the sting of yesterday. It meant the lessons were sinking in.
"Alright, class!" I called out as I entered the gym, my voice echoing. "Welcome to Day Two of 'How Izuku Midoriya is Going to Make You All Legends.'"
Shigaraki groaned from his spot on the floor, where he was sprawled out with his hair covering half his face. Dabi leaned against the wall, looking like he hadn't slept at all. Toga was hanging upside down from a bar, probably plotting my demise, and Spinner sat in the corner, clutching a protein shake like it was the only thing keeping him alive.
"You're insane," Dabi muttered.
"Glad you noticed," I replied with a grin. "Now, let's get started. Today's theme: endurance and adaptability."
Morning: Physical Endurance
I wasn't pulling any punches. The morning session was all about pushing their bodies to the limit.
"Shigaraki, you're running laps. Every time you stop, that's another ten laps added."
He glared at me but started running, muttering curses under his breath.
"Dabi, you're going to maintain a flame barrier for as long as you can without it flickering. If it wavers even once, you're starting over."
He shot me a glare that could've melted steel but complied, blue flames sparking to life around him.
"Toga, you're practicing sustained transformations. Hold a form for as long as possible without slipping up. If I catch you reverting even for a second, you're doing it again."
She flipped off the bar and landed gracefully, giving me a mock bow. "Your wish is my command, oh merciless one."
"Spinner, you're sparring with me," I said, cracking my knuckles.
His eyes widened. "Uh... do I have a choice?"
"Nope," I replied cheerfully. "Now, come at me."
For the next two hours, the gym was a cacophony of groans, flames, and the rhythmic sound of feet pounding against the floor.
Shigaraki was wheezing by the time he finished his laps, collapsing onto the ground with an exasperated sigh. Dabi's flames flickered briefly, earning him a sharp "start over" from me, which was met with a string of curses.
Toga managed to hold her form for an impressive amount of time, but when she finally slipped, she screamed in frustration before immediately starting again.
Spinner, to his credit, managed to land a few hits on me, but by the end of our sparring session, he was nursing a bruised ego—and several bruises on his arms.
Afternoon: Quirk Improvisation
Once they'd recovered somewhat, I introduced the next phase of training: quirk improvisation.
"Heroes and villains alike don't get the luxury of perfect conditions," I said, pacing in front of them. "Your quirk won't always be enough. Today, you're going to learn how to think on your feet."
I set up a series of obstacles around the gym, each designed to force them to use their quirks in unconventional ways.
Shigaraki was tasked with using Decay to create pathways through a simulated rubble field without collapsing the structure. Dabi had to extinguish flames in a controlled manner, something he struggled with more than he cared to admit.
Toga was given a series of disguises to maintain while also navigating a maze, and Spinner had to combine his agility with precision strikes to disable "enemies" in the form of automated targets.
"Stop overthinking it!" I shouted as Shigaraki hesitated in front of a particularly precarious pile of rubble. "Trust your instincts, but control your output!"
He scowled but pressed forward, his hands carefully disintegrating just enough material to create a stable path.
Dabi growled in frustration as his flames sputtered, but with some guidance, he managed to extinguish them without creating an explosion.
Toga, as expected, was a natural at her task, but I still pushed her to refine her movements and think strategically.
Spinner surprised me by quickly adapting to the targets' erratic movements, his strikes becoming more precise with each attempt.
Evening: A Tough Love Pep Talk
By the time evening rolled around, they were all on the verge of collapsing. But I wasn't done.
"Good work today," I said, earning a few half-hearted glares. "But you're still far from where you need to be."
Shigaraki groaned. "We get it, Izuku. We suck."
"You don't suck," I said, crossing my arms. "You're just not reaching your potential. And I know you can do better."
Dabi rolled his eyes. "You sound like a motivational poster."
I ignored him, my gaze sweeping over all of them. "The sports festival isn't just about proving yourselves to UA. It's about proving that you're more than society thinks you are. Villains aren't born—they're made. And it's time to unmake that image."
They stared at me, the exhaustion in their eyes mingling with a spark of determination.
"Tomorrow will be harder," I warned. "But if you trust me, I'll make you unstoppable."
Toga grinned, her fangs glinting in the dim light. "You're crazy, Midoriya."
"Absolutely," I replied with a smirk. "Now, go rest. You're going to need it."
As they shuffled out of the gym, I felt a flicker of pride. They were broken, battered, and exhausted—but they were also improving.
This wasn't just about training. It was about transformation. And I was going to make sure they became the best version of themselves, no matter how much it took.
